모듈 단위의 용량 확장이 용이한 대용량 WDM 광 교환기 (Module-based Easily Scalable Ultra-large Capacity WDM Optical Exchange)

  • 본 논문에서는 대용량의 데이터를 처리하기 위한 시간분할 및 파장분할 방식을 혼합한 구조를 갖는 대용량 광 교환기 ESCIMONET(Easily SCalable Interconnected Multiwavelength Optical NETwork)의 구조 및 동작과 특징에 대해 소개하였다. ESCIMONET은 n 개의 파장만을 이용하여 n$^3$의 가입자를 수용할 수 있어 스위칭 용량의 효율성이 매우 뛰어난 시스템이며, 시스템 손실 또한 기존의 구조에 비해 적어 손실 보상을 위해 삽입하는 광 증폭기의 개수를 최소화 할 수 있다. 또한 본 논문에서는 ESCIMONET에서 사용된 버퍼의 처리율(Throughput)을 분석하여 전체 스위칭 시스템의 처리율을 분석하였고, 버퍼의 평균 대기 시간을 계산하여 광 교환기 ESCIMONET의 성능을 평가하였다.

원자력발전소 지진 PSA의 계통분석방법 개선 연구 (A Study of System Analysis Method for Seismic PSA of Nuclear Power Plants)

  • The seismic PSA is to probabilistically estimate the potential damage that a large earthquake will cause to a nuclear power plant. It integrates the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis, seismic fragility analysis, and system analysis and is utilized to identify seismic vulnerability and improve seismic capacity of nuclear power plants. Recently, the seismic risk of domestic multi-unit nuclear power plant sites has been evaluated after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Gyeongju Earthquake in Korea. However, while the currently available methods for system analysis can derive basic required results of seismic PSA, they do not provide the detailed results required for the efficient improvement of seismic capacity. Therefore, for in-depth seismic risk evaluation, improved system analysis method for seismic PSA has become necessary. This study develops a system analysis method that is not only suitable for multi-unit seismic PSA but also provides risk information for the seismic capacity improvements. It will also contribute to the enhancement of the safety of nuclear power plants by identifying the seismic vulnerability using the detailed results of seismic PSA. In addition, this system analysis method can be applied to other external event PSAs, such as fire PSA and tsunami PSA, which require similar analysis.

신뢰도를 고려한 태양광시스템의 배전계통 연계 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Algorithm for Interconnection of PV System on Power Distribution System Considering Reliability)

  • In this paper, when photovoltaic (PV) systems are connected to power distribution system, most effective capacity and connected-point of PV system are presented considering power distribution system reliability. The reliability model of PV system is presented considering the duration of sunshine. Also the model of time-varying load and reliability test system bus2 model are used. To simulate the effects of PV system, various cases are selected; (1) base case which is no connection of PV system to power distribution system when faults are occurred, (2) 3MW case which is 3[MW] connection of PV system (3) 4[MW] case, and (4) 20[MW] case which is 20[MW] connection of PV system to the bus of power distribution system. The capacity limit of connected PV system is settled to 14[MW] for all cases except case 4. The reliability for residential, general, industrial, and educational customer is evaluated.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the external joints flexural of hybrid system(RPC) which is consist of precast concrete slabs and cast in site concrete walls. The external joint's specimens were prepared by types of joint detail and were tested under cyclic load which used yielding displacement. The results of external joints of hybrid system showed that the strength capacity of RPC is little different than RC and that the energy dissipation capacity of RPC is similar to RC.

  • The CDMA system with time division duplex mode (CDMA/TDD system) is a highly attractive solution to support the next generation cellular mobile systems providing multimedia services where the traffic unbalance between downlink and uplink exists. In this paper, the capacity of the CDMA/TDD system is analyzed in general multicell environments. For this analysis, the interference for a time slot is analyzed, and a time slot and channel allocation problem is mathematically formulated and solved using simulated annealing technique. Computational experiments provide a promising result.

  • In order to lessen cable vibration, new cable damper system with high damping rubber was developed using the basis of the LRB design scheme. The analysis model of cable damper system incorporate voigt-kelvin damper model into the nonlinear cable analysis model. To achieve maximum damping capacity both reducing damper stiffness and developing high damping rubber were performed. As a result of verification test, the high damping rubber damper show its effectiveness in improving cable damping capacity.

  • In the electric railway systems, it is very important that we should design the system configuration, location and power capacity of substation. This paper presents the results of system configuration and system design of the DC traction power supply for the test line of Light Rail Vehicle. The voltage fluctuation of train and the power capacity of substation are calculated by computer simulation using the nodal equation, K.C.L/K.V.L, Ohm's law and superposition theory.

  • This paper presents a study on the design and implementation of modulized I/O buffer control system for large capacity cable check. A 8bit I/O buffer basic module which has feedback loops with input and output buffers is simulated in PSpice and implemented with logic gates. This system is composed of 18 sub-boards which have 3 channels of 32bit data buses, and of a main board with MPC860 microprocessor.

  • It is required to develop a rational transmission tariff system to ensure the fair participation of the players in the market. This study suggests an improved transmission tariff system which classifies the line capacity into line usage and reliability capacity based on their use and reasonably allocates the costs incurred by each of them to users. In addition, it takes the system load variations into consideration.
