The sheep can be reproduced by natural mating as well as applied reproductive biotechnology, embryo transfer (ET). However, this method in sheep is influenced by several factors such as season, photoperiod, latitude, temperature, nutrition, and breed. In addition, there is still less research on assisted reproductive technologies in small ruminants, compared to other livestock species such as cattle and pigs. Because there has been a need for an optimization and a continuous improvement of ET techniques in small ruminants. the main objective of this study was to evaluate the conception rate obtained after ET in Mongolian sheep (Dorper breed). After embryo recover, code 1 and 2 embryos (morula or blastocyst stage) for ET in the present study were 63% (63/100) and 24% (24/100), respectively. Then Each single embryo was transferred to a synchronized recipient who prepared by estrous synchronization protocol with fluorogestone acetate-cloprostenol sodium. The results demonstrated that an average conception rate and lambing rate was 35.6% (31/87) and 33.3% (29/87), respectively. Further study is still necessary, but these results indicated that single embryo of Mongolian sheep with the present protocol was enough to conducting ET when the genetically superior sheep were necessary to be expanded.
The SyncML, the standard synchronization protocol, supports the synchronization of various application services between a client and a server such as an address book, a calendar. Even with this standard protocol, SyncML application developers usually spend a long time and efforts implementing service specific logics and databases. This paper designed and implemented the SDE(Service Development Environment) which is an integrated development environment for SyncML server developers to develop an application service rapidly and correctly. The SDE consists of two components i.e., the Sync Library and the SEG(Sync Engine Generator) tool. To prove the applicability of this study we implemented a SyncML server by using the SDE and also carried out the correctness tests and the performance test. We hope this system helps developers implement mobile application services more efficiently.

This paper presents a new technique for generating an optimum synchronizable test sequence that can be applied in the distributed test architecture where both external synchronization and input/output operation costs are taken into consideration. The method defines a set of phases that constructs a tester-related digraph from a given finite state machine representation of a protocol specification such that a minimum cost tour of the digraph with intrinsically synchronizable transfer sequences can be used to generate an optimum synchronizable test sequence using synchronizable state identification sequences as the state recognition sequence for each state of the given finite state machine. This hybrid approach with a heuristic and optimization technique provides a simple and elegant solution to the synchronization problem that arises during the application of a predetermined test sequence in some protocol test architectures that utilize remote testers.

The sensor networks can be used attractively for various application areas. Time synchronization is important for any Ubiquitous Sensor Networks (USN) systems. USN makes extensive use of synchronized time in many contexts for data fusion. However existing time synchronization protocols are available only for homogeneous sensor nodes of USN. It needs to be extended or redesigned in order to apply to the USN with heterogeneous sensor nodes. Because heterogeneous sensor nodes have different clock sources with the SinkNode of USN, it is impossible to be synchronized global time. In addition, energy efficiency is one of the most significant factors to influence the design of sensor networks, as sensor nodes are limited in power, computational capacity, and memory. In this paper, we propose specific time synchronization based on master-slave topology for the global time synchronization of USN with heterogeneous sensor nodes. The time synchronization master nodes are always able to be synchronized with the SinkNode. Then time synchronization master nodes enable time synchronization slave nodes to be synchronized sleep periods. The proposed master-slave time synchronization for heterogeneous sensor nodes of USN is also helpful for power saving by maintaining maximum sleep time.

본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 PCP(Priority Ceiling Protocol)의 변형인 ICPP(Immediate Ceiling Priority Protocol)을 RT 패치에 통합되도록 구현하고, 그 성능을 분석한다.

Recently, FlexRay was developed to replace controller area network (CAN) protocol in chassis networking systems, to remedy the shortage of transmission capacity and unsatisfactory real-time transmission delay of conventional CAN. FlexRay network systems require correct synchronization and complex scheduling parameters. However, because platform configuration register (PCR) setting and message scheduling is complex and bothersome task, FlexRay is more difficult to implement in applications than CAN protocol. To assist a network designer for implementing FlexRay cluster, this paper presents an analysis of FlexRay platform configuration register and automatic generation program of PCR. To demonstrate the feasibility of the automatic generation program, we evaluated its performance using experimental testbed.
This paper proposes an autonomous decentralized frame synchronization system for Ad-hoc Inter-Vehicle Communication Network (IVCN). We have to consider the feature of Ad-hoc IVCN: "time variant" about the number and the location of vehicles and receive power in IVCN, frame timing, and fading. Proposed scheme is different from other decentralized synchronization systems that have association with a fixed base station, and from centralized Personal Communication Systems. This system includes an autonomous decentralized frame synchronization scheme for Ad-hoc IVCN, a high-speed algorithm, a protocol for a newly joining subscriber in IVCN, and a utilization of spread spectrum ranging for frame timing error of the system under highway conditions. Performance evaluation of proposed scheme is validated through simulation. It is shown that Ad-hoc IVCN can be carried out among one and surrounding vehicles in such environment.
Synchronization is the process of making replicated data on multiple devices be consistent, i.e., identical with each other. In Dec. 2000, major handheld computer manufacturers including Nokia, Ericsson, IBM published the SyncML protocol specification. In this paper, we describe the CNU SyncML server for PIMS(Personal Information Management System) service that we developed based on the SyncML specification. The server architecture and capabilities of the frames are presented along with the procedure of message processing by each frame. We put the CNU SyncML server to the conformance tests and interoperability tests to confirm its functionality. The session managing mechanism of the CNU SyncML server showed better performance than our previous implementations.

The indoor and outdoor lighting industry has become the bigger and more systemized using the semiconductor LED with each control R(Red), G(Green), B(Blue). The communication standard DMX512(ANSI E1.11) protocol of it can control and perform max. 512 lightings, especially 170 lightings in 24 bit true color. As the performance of below 100 lightings is distinguished small-size, this paper proposes a bigger capacity lighting performance above 1,000 using connection to 1 master to 32 slaves. Also, this paper proposes the synchronization method in order to accomplish a designed performance. In proposed method, the master sends the synchronization signal to slaves every 400ms. Slaves receive this signal and use to initialize the timer becoming the basis of DMX512 output. The example of the developed products using proposed method and the operation is introduced.

Providing security has been always on priority in all areas of computing and communication, and for the systems that are low on computing power, implementing appropriate and efficient security mechanism has been a continuous challenge for the researchers. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system is such an environment, which requires the design and implementation of efficient security mechanism. Earlier, the security protocols for RFID based on hash functions and symmetric key cryptography have been proposed. But, due to high strength and requirement of less key size in elliptic curve cryptography, the focus of researchers has been on designing efficient security protocol for RFID based on elliptic curves. In this paper, an efficient elliptic curve signcryption based security protocol for RFID has been proposed, which provides mutual authentication, confidentiality, non-repudiation, integrity, availability, forward security, anonymity, and scalability. Moreover, the proposed protocol successfully provides resistance from replay attack, impersonation attack, location tracking attack, de-synchronization attack, denial of service attack, man-in-the-middle attack, cloning attack, and key-compromise attack. Results have revealed that the proposed protocol is efficient than the other related protocols as it takes less computational time and storage cost, especially for the tag, making it ideal to be used for RFID systems.
