Dissociative amnesia is caused by psychologic disagreement except organic brain disorder, intoxication, severe fatigue and occurred by not recalling saved information. Recently we experienced a 19 year-old woman who had a sudden onset of dissociative amnesia and whose condition was improved through Oriental medical treatment. This case study illustrates what the manifestations of dissociative amnesia is and how dissociative amnesia symptomatology emerged.

Primary tumors of the diaphragm are very rare, From a clinical point of view, they do not present a specific symptomatology and the radiologic aspect is not characteristic. Their etiology is often obscure. The authors experienced one case of primary neurofibroma of the diaphragm. The patient was 52 year old male, and detected preoperatively abnormal round mass shadow in the middome portion of the left diaphragm in routine chest X-ray. A left posterolateral thoracotomy through the 7th ICS was performed. The mass and surrounding tissues were completely removed, and diagnosed as a primary neurofibroma by the histopathologic findings. Postoperative course was uneventful.

Objectives : This study reports a case of Soeumin patients with Herpes zostersMethods : We examined progress of Soeumin Herpes zoster patient's symptoms (skin blisters, pain, insomnia, etc.) and complications when during and after the treatments.Results : Soeumin Herpes zoster patient was diagnosed as Yang Depletion. Yongdamsagan-tang, Sweet BV, were effective for decrease the patient's skin blisters and pain. Soeumin Bojungikgi-tang prevented the patient's aftereffects.Conclusions : Soeumin Herpes zoster patient who had severe pain, blisters, and sleep disorder, was expected high risk of postherpetic neuralgia. But diagnosed Yang Depletion symptomatology and treated with Soeumin Bojungikgi-tang, patient recover completely without sequelae.

Introduction This study is the first case report to observe a significant improvement of clinical symptoms of both Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis(RAS) and pompholyx treating with modified Palmulgunja-tang for Soeum-type. Case presentation A 37-year-old female patient complained of pain by ulcers on her mouth and tongue, and of itching caused by vesicles on her palms and soles was diagnosed with RAS, pompholyx, and, especially moderate pattern of 'Congestive Hyperpsychotic symptomatology' according to the theory of Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM). During inpatient and outpatient treatment, she took modified Palmulgunja-tang, and was treated with acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping therapy. The effectiveness of these therapies was assessed with subjective Neumeral Rating Scale(NRS) and Dyshidotic Eczema Area and Severity Index(DASI). Conclusion After the treatment according to the theory of SCM, NRS, and DASI score about RAS and pompoholyx was decreased, and the general condition of the patient also has improved.

The symptomatology of suprascapular neuropathy is variable, depending principally on the etiology and location of the lesion. Among them, suprascapular nerve entrapment with isolated paralysis of the infraspinatus muscle is uncommon. We report a 27-year-old man presenting with right arm weakness. Based on the electrophysiologic and imaging findings, suprascapular neuropathy at the spinoglenoid notch due to cystic mass lesion was diagnosed.

후두의 Anterior glottic web에 대한 수술적 치료방법은 1924년 Haslinger가 처음으로 Web의 성공적인 Correction예를 보고한 이래 1935년 Iglauer, 1950년 Mc Naught, 1969년 Pennington, 1970년 Montgomery등이 각기 다른 치료법을 소개하였으나 그 치료목적이 전연합부의 상피화와 동시에 Denuded Vocal Cord에 형성되는 유착을 방지하는 데에 있었다. 저자등은 최근 후두유두종 3례에서 2∼3회의 제거술후에 유발된 Anterior glottic web를 경험하여 Stainless Steel Plate를 이용한 Keel을 제작하여 사용한 결과 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 문헌적 고찰을 가하여 보고하는 바이다.

Objectives The symptom of nineteen-year-old male patient who had cluster headache was alleviated using Soyangin's diagnosis and treatment. Methods This patient was diagnosed as Soyangin in terms of QSCC II(Questionnaire of Sasang Constitutional Classification II) and ordinary symptoms and current symptoms. The disease pattern was diagnosed as Soyang-sangpung symptomology. The intensity of headache was assessed by VAS(Visual Analogue Scale). Results and Conclusions The patient's symptom was improved using Hyeongbangsabaek-san, acupuncture treatment and cupping treatment.

Objective The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of Splenic Constipation(脾約) in "Donguisusebowon(東醫壽世保元)". Methods We investigated the provisions associated with splenic constipation written in "Donguisusebowon", "Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)", "Shanghanlun(傷寒論)" and several papers which related to splenic constipation. Results and Conclusions 1. Splenic constipation in "Donguisusebowon" falls into the category of Soeumin Yang Depletion Symptomatology(少陰人 亡陽病). The symptoms of splenic constipation include sweating and smooth urination. 2. Splenic constipation in "Donguisusebowon", "Shanghanlun", "Donguibogam" is based on fluid deficiency, but splenic constipation in "Donguisusebowon" is focused on sweating unlike "Shanghanlun" and sweating was quoted in "Donguibogam". 3. Splenic constipation in "Shanghanlun" and "Donguibogam" is focused primarily on constipation. The difference is that splenic constipation in "Donguibogam" relates to sweating. 4. Therefore, even if they use the same term, we need to understand that the meaning of splenic constipation in "Donguisusebowon" is different from that of "Shanghanlun" and "Donguibogam".

연구목적 : 본 연구는 월경전 불쾌기분장애와 기질 특성과의 관련성을 알아봄으로써 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 병태생리 및 관련된 성격 경향을 이해하며 치료 응용의 가능성을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 방법 : DSM-IV 진단기준에 의해 월경전 불쾌기분장애로 진단된 28명을 대상으로 한국어판 TPQ, 축약형 월경전기평가서 등을 작성케 한 후, 이들 사이의 상관관계를 구하였다. 결과 : 기질의 4가지 차원에 해당하는 점수를 독립 변인으로 하고, 축약형 월경전기평가서 점수를 종속 변인으로 하여 표준 중다회귀분석을 시행하였을 때 월경전 불쾌기분장애 증상은 Cloninger가 제시한 성격의 기질을 구성하는 4가지 요인 중 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 보상 의존(RD) 요인에 대하여 유의하였으며, 특히 손해 회피(HA) 요인에 의해 가장 많이 설명될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 증상은 높은 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 낮은 보상 의존(RD) 요인에 의해 잘 설명되었다. 월경전기증상 중 특히 정동 증상이 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 상관관계를 갖고 있는데, 이는 월경전 불쾌기분장애가 기질의 특성에 영향을 받음을 의미한다. 이는 향후 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 병태생리의 이해에 도움이 될 것으로 생각한다.
