  • Although oral route is the most convenient route for drug administration, the short and variable transit of drug through GI tract restricts the sustained drug absorption after oral administration. Thus, for sustained absorption of drugs, it is desirable to prolong the GI transit time by retaining the dosage forms in the stomach. In this study, the enzyme-digestible swelling hydrogel was synthesized by heating the mixed solution of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone[monomer], acrylated albumin[crosslinking agent] and proxyphylline[drug] at $65^{\circ}C$ for 10 hours in the cylindrical test tube. The resultant hydrogel tablet (diameter; 0.77 cm, thickness; 0.47 cm) was designed to swell in the gastric fluid after oral administration to such a size that passing through the pylorus could be inhibited during the drug release. After releasing drug, the hydrogel was expected to be degraded by pepsin, an enzyme in the stomach, and eventually solubilized. Actually, the hydrogel synthesized in the study swelled to a size larger than the diameter of the pylorus ($1.3{\pm}0.7$ cm) and slowly digested in the presence of pepsin. Drug release from the hydrogel was prolonged up to about 12 hours. The swelling kinetics was dependent on albumin acrylation time, drug content and gel thickness. Particularly the gel thickness was the most important factor that influences on drug release. By adjusting these factors, the albumin-crosslinked hydrogel was expected to be retained in the stomach for up to 60 hours and used as a potential platform of drugs for long-term GI absorption.

  • Recently, due to the excessive use of fossil fuels, many studies about the fossil fuels such as solar and fuel cell energy source are progressing. Fuel cell system has high energy conversion efficiency. Also, fuel cell system is environmentally friendly system because the carbon emission is almost not occur. Therefore, the fuel cell system is considered as the core technology of in the fields of the future energy and environmental. Fuel cell system has an effect on distribution power system because another power source of other than large power plants. So, fuel cell system can be reason of power quality in the power system. In this paper, we constructed the system for an assessment on Islanding. The system is composed with power source, Impedance coordination load and linear load, fuel cell system. we are performed assessment on voltage and power quality in customer and the distributed power system during the Islanding of residential fuel cell system. In addition, no change in the impedance of power system, we made a islanding condition only using the actual load, As a variation of generation and load current under islanding, an analysis results based on assessment system showed that the power qualities of distribution system became more aggravation as effect of voltage sag and voltage swell phenomena.

  • Clay soils are typical for their swelling properties upon absorption of water during rains and development of cracks during summer time owing to the profile desorption of water through the inter-connected soil pores by water vapour diffusion leading to evaporation. This type of unstable soil phenomenon by and large poses a serious threat to the strength and stability of structures when rest on such type of soils. Even as lime and cement are extensively used for stabilization of clay soils it has become imperative to find relatively cheaper alternative materials to bring out the desired properties within the clay soil domain. In the present era of catastrophic environmental degradation as a side effect to modernized manufacturing processes, industrialization and urbanization the creative idea would be treating the waste products in a beneficial way for reuse and recycling. Bottom ash and ecosand are construed as a waste product from cement industry. An optimal combination of bottom ash-eco sand can be thought of as a viable alternative to stabilize the clay soils by means of an effective dispersion dynamics associated with the inter connected network of pore spaces. A CATIA model was created and imported to ANSYS Fluent to study the dispersion dynamics. Ion migration from the bottom ash-ecosand pile was facilitated through natural formation of cracks in clay soil subjected to atmospheric conditions. Treated samples collected at different curing days from inner and outer zones at different depths were tested for, plasticity index, Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS), free swell index, water content, Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), pH and ion concentration to show the effectiveness of the method in improving the clay soil.

  • A lienor of the real estate Auction procedure does not associate with the lien report truth in an existing law system, and lienor can be opposed to vendee. Malicious lienor abuses such a principle of law and loses a sale price of the deferred purpose real estate in Auction procedure by convenience of lienor. In addition, there is apt to be a case to let I do debtor and collusion and false return, and the Secured credit swell out greatly. The necessity that liability does lien report to assure Secured credi becoming the formation truth and the undertaking of lien in Auction procedure is practically acute need. I showed the legislation idea which switched present situation investigation improvement and lien by the executive officer in legal mortgage in civil law In addition, it revised introduction and the Civil Execution Act of the lien registration system and solved Obligatory Report of the Lien about lien for a legislation.

  • The additional matters appear to be considered in several aspects for building up power-quality measuring system of transmission system(high voltage system) compared to distribution system(middle or low voltage system). Like in distribution system, input signals are also received from PT and CT source of voltage and current respectively in transmission system and applied in accordance with a certain rate. In this case, very big error rate can be occurred according to the specification of the measuring system as the applying rate is bigger than in distribution system beyond comparison. In addition, when the abnormal signal occurred such as sag/swell, interruption, transient etc., power quality of other sires linked to the system also should be checked to find the accurate cause of the abnormal power-quality signals from the corresponding. site. Accordingly, the accurate diagnosis on the condition of power quality for the system depends on the way how the synchronization system is brought along for each site. This paper will suggest the solution for the most effective system building focused on how to solve the problem of the error rate and synchronization described in the above when building up the measuring system of power quality for transmission system.

  • It is one of the important processes to predict the resistance of the towed ship when towing a disabled ship on the sea. Besides the basic resistance of hull itself, there are various added resistance, especially the added resistance due to waves can be considered one of the biggest component. In this paper, the algorithm which predict the added resistance due to waves of a disabled ship by theoretical analysis method of ISO 15016 standard was established, and realized as a computer program. The calculated result for an example ship was compared with existing standard one, and it is considered that this algorithm and computer program are appropriate to use for predicting the resistance and towing force of the disabled ship actually.

  • Seventy nine swollen commercially canned grapes and peaches were collected from wholesale and retail outlets in Seoul area for the investigation of the causes of their swell. Hydrogen generation and microbial spoilage were the only two common causes of can swelling. Nevertheless, the spoilage profile of the two products was different. Seventeen out of twenty one canned peaches were spoiled by microorganisms, while the rest of five were swollen due to hydrogen generation. In contrast, fifty one out of fifty eight canned grapes were swollen due to hydrogen generation, while the rest of seven were spoiled by microorganisms. Seventeen yeast and five bacterial strains were isolated and only the yeasts were identified to their genera and species. Saccharomyces cerevisiae was the most frequently isolated spoilage yeast, closely followed by Torulopsis stellata. Candida parapsilosis, Pichia kluyveri, Pichia membranaefaciens, Torulopsis globosa and Torulopsis lactis-condensi were also isolated but with lower frequencies.

  • The offshore plants such as FPSO are subjected to combination loading of environmental conditions (swell, wave, wind and current). Therefore the fatigue damage is occurred in the operation time because the units encounter the environmental phenomena and the structural configurations are complicated. This paper is a research for frequency domain fatigue analysis of wide-band random loading focused on accuracy of fatigue damage estimation regarding the proposed methods. We selected ideal bi-modal spectrum. And comparison between time-domain fatigue analysis and frequency-domain fatigue analyses are conducted through the fatigue damage ratio. Fatigue damage ratios according to Vanmarcke's bandwidth parameter are founded for wide-band. Considering safety, we recommend that Jiao-Moan and Tovo-Benasciutti methods are optimal way at the fatigue design for wide-band response. But, it is important that these methods based on frequency-domain unstably change the accuracy according to the material parameter of S-N curve. This study will be background and guidance for the new frequency-domain fatigue analysis development in the future.

  • Screen printing is a stencil process whereby ink is transferred to the substrate through a stencil supported by a fine fabric mesh. Therefore screen had a tendency to distort and swell, as ink was deposited between the fibers, and were difficult to clean. The tow importance of stencil parameters that affect print quality are stencil thread diameter and the fabric thickness because of their influence on both ink deposit and print definition. Since screen printing inks can be formulated to adhere to almost any surface, and the printing process itself can be handled almost any substrate in a wide variety of shape, screen printing is a very versatile process. The small size pronting is reproduced image used screen printing because the surface of substrates is not suited at screen printing method. In screen printing, the need of high definition printing is gradually increasing according to developing special inks. A conventional haftone, so called AM screening, is simple and easy to implement, but the haftone dot patterns by using this method are not free for the moire fringe. This paper is used densitometry and image analysis to investigate relation with printing according to screen mesh, opening size and resolution of copy in image reproduction used FM screen. We had the good result of dot gain and tone reproduction on the screen printing of high definition using FM screen.
