초전도여자기를 이용한 초전도전원장치의 설계.제작 및 특성해석 (Design, Manufacture and Characteristic Experiment of a Superconducting power Supply with Superconducting Excitation Coil)

  • This paper describes a series of experiments to investigate the operational characteristics of a superconducting power supply with superconducting excitation coil. In this experiment, the superconducting excitation coil is introduced to control the pole-flex in the air gap of the machine. The operating current of the superconducting powder supply is designed to have the value of 300 [A] for the rotational speed of 600 rpm. Sensors installed on the Nb sheet yield the information on the spatial and temporal behaviors of the magnetic field in spot and on the characteristics of the superconducting power supply.

  • This paper deals with the design and fabrication of a novel superconducting power supply system, and characteristics have been investigated through experiments. Superconducting power supply consists of rotating and static parts, and superconducting magnet. In this experiment, superconducting foils were placed in parallel within the static part of the machine, pumping currents were measured with respect to rotor speeds and excitation currents. In addition, in order to observe the rotating flux distribution in the superconducting foils, several hall-sensors were placed in it. With the flux distribution acquired, effect of the flux on the superconducting foil during the process of current pumping has been discussed. Also, the general operational characteristics of the superconducting power supply system have been investigated on the basis of the current and voltage data, and magnetic field values acquired through the experiments.

  • In this paper, 3-D magnetostatic finite element simulation of a rotux type Low-Tc superconducing (LTS) superconducting power supply, finite element method, cryogenic system, superconducting foil by generated magnetic flux from the rotating pole. The magnetic flux density on the superconducting foil caused by two exciters is therefore sufficiently greater than its critical magnetic flux density and it is an essential point in LTS power supply design. To establish the sufficient flux path of this machine, ferromagnetic materials is used in this power supply. When ferromagnetic materials is used at extremely low temperature, its characteristic of magnetization differs to that at room temperature. For this reason, special consideration is needed in the magnetic analysis of cryogenic systems. When the excitation current is 10A, the normal spot appears on superconducting foil. The results of this analysis are calculated and compared with the experimental results. The linkage flux due to the excitation current of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50A are respectively $1.30{\times}10-4$, $2.67{\times}10-4$, $5.08{\times}10-4$ and $6.15{\times}10-4Wb$.

  • Superconductivity has various applications in the whole industry such as the generation of high magnetic field for medical care and diagnosis, the lossless power transmission, environment-friendly vehicles and clean energy storage systems. This paper deals with the High-Tc superconducting(HTS) power supply using heater-triggered switch for the charging of the superconducting magnets. HTS superconducting power supply consists of two heaters, an electromagnet, and Bi-2223 solenoid and Bi-2223 pancake is used as a superconducting load, similar to real HTS magnet. The timing sequential control of two heaters and an electromagnet is an important factor to generate pumping- current in the Bi-2223 load. The thermal analysis of switching parts of the Bi-2223 solenoid according to the heater input was carried out. Based upon the analysis, the 0.8A of heater current were optimally derived. The maximum pumping current reached 1.7A.

Also, general operational characteristics of the superconducting power supply system have been investigated on the basis of the current and voltage data and magnetic field values acquired through the experiments. In this experiment, maximum pumping current has been achieved to about 1280 amps.

  • This paper deals with the design and fabrication of a heater-trigger type high-Tc superconducting power supply system, and characteristics have been analyzed through experiments. The high-Tc superconducting power supply consists of two heater trigger and electric magnet, and YBCO superconducting bulk. In this experiment, 0.6T class magnet and dc 2.3A heater current are used, and the current-pumping characteristics have been analyzed with computer aided sequence control system. Hall sensors are installed on the YBCO bulk and in the center of iron core in order to analyze the effect of the flux-pumping on the system with when magnet flux changes its value. In this experiment, maximum pumping-current has been achieved to about 6.6 amps.

  • This paper is a study on the rotating type of superconducting power supply(R.S.P.S.) with superconducting excitation coils. In this paper, a new idea of excitation coil is introduced to control the pole-flux in air gap. We manufactured the R.S.P.S. by using superconducting excitation coils and measured the charging current of superconducting load with respect to rotational speeds and excitational current. Through this experiment, 425A of maximum current was obtained a few minutes. It turned out that the charging rate of load current is proportional to rotational speeds and excitational current. Furthermore, it is found that it's possible to generate the charge current of thousands of amperes by using wires of larger critical current.

  • This paper presents the design and fabrication of a high-Tc superconducting (HTS) power supply for charging of the HTS magnet load, and its characteristics have been analyzed through experiments. HTS power supply consists of two heaters, an electromagnet, a Bi-2223 solenoid and a Bi-2223 pancake magnet load. In this experiment, 331 mH electromagnet and 0.8 A dc heater current were used, and 8.5 sec and 17 sec were used for pumping period. Mechanism of the superconducting switch is used for heater-trigger. In order to measure the pumping-current with respect to the magnet flux changes, hall sensor was installed at the center of the Bi-2223 pancake load. The experimental observations have been compared with the theoretical predictions. In this experiment, the pumping-current has reached about 1.2 A. In computer simulation, the maximum pumping-current of the system has been predicted to be about 2.7 A.

  • In this paper, we develop a design methodology of granular-based neurocomputing networks realized with the aid of the clustering techniques. The objective of this paper is modeling and evaluation of approximation and generalization capability of the Linear-Type Superconducting Power Supply (LTSPS). In contrast with the plethora of existing approaches, here we promote a development strategy in which a topology of the network is predominantly based upon a collection of information granules formed on a basis of available experimental data. The underlying design tool guiding the development of the granular-based neurocomputing networks revolves around the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering method and the Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network. In contrast to "standard" Radial Basis Function neural networks, the output neuron of the network exhibits a certain functional nature as its connections are realized as local linear whose location is determined by the membership values of the input space with the aid of FCM clustering. To modeling and evaluation of performance of the linear-type superconducting power supply using the proposed network, we describe a detailed characteristic of the proposed model using a well-known NASA software project data.
