The Fourth Industrial Revolution is currently leading humanity into a super-connected, super-intelligent, and super-converged society through key technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data. Blockchain technology has the potential to lead social innovation that will improve the mutual harmony and understanding of the complex structures of human society as well as various phenomena (e.g., antagonism, confrontation, and ideological conflict). With such progress in social innovation, blockchain technology will result in a fairer and more transparent human society. In addition, blockchain technology is emerging as a core infrastructure technology, and its growth and expansion are expected to bring about revolutionary improvements to nearly all fields of development and research. In this paper, we briefly outline the main features of blockchain technology. Through a further analysis of its ecosystem, we intend to offer suggestions for a more robust and efficient development of blockchain-related industries.
This paper intends to examine spatial patterns and regional variations of aging population in Korea based on census data for 163 areas during 1980~2010. It briefly investigates general characteristics of aging population in Korea from previous studies and clarifies spatial patterns of aging process at regional level with reference of population growth rate at different time periods. Cities in Korea are classified into several stages including aging society, aged society and super-aged society according to the percentages of aging population out of total population every five years. At the regional scale, the stage of aging society was revealed from 1980, while the stage of aged society was shown from 1995 and super-aged society was entered from 2000 in Korea. Eighty cities in the analysis were shown at the stage of super-aged society in 2010. The portions of aging population are highly related to city size and population growth rate. For instance, the cities both in small size and with low population growth rate are revealing high percentage of aging population. As of 2010, most rural areas are staged into super-aged society, while most cities within Seoul metropolitan area and mid-sized cities are kept in the stage of aging society. At regional scale, there are no significant statistical correlations between total fertility rate and aging population.
Maintaining steady and low temperature during distribution process is a key technique to inhibit microbial growth, one of the most important factors in determining the shelf life. It is possible to provide high-quality fresh products to consumers only when precise and adequate temperature control is guaranteed throughout the entire distribution process for fresh seafood. This study investigated the shelf-life of packaged fresh flounder (Paralichthys Olivaceus) in order to learn the feasibility of super-chilled distribution of fresh seafood. To estimate the shelf life, weight, number of bacteria such as E. coli, pH, sensory test and volatile basic nitrogen were investigated. As a result of the study, the difference in shelf life of 6 days at the super-chilling temperature (0±1℃) and 1 day at the general refrigeration temperature (8±2℃) (based on volatile base nitrogen) showed the market possibility of super-chilling distribution. Through additional empirical studies such as packaging methods and economic feasibility, it is expected to promote commercialization of super-chilling containers and packaging system developed in the future and secure customer reliability.

This study was carried out to compare the growth and fatty acids composition of the rotifer (Brachionus rotundiformis) cultured in high density by the various enrichments and culture methods. The rotifer fed on condensed freshwater Chlorella was enriched with $\omega$-yeast, Algamac, Super Selco and marine Chlorella. In another culture method, the rotifer was cultured with enrichment supplements for 6 hours after feeding with condensed freshwater Chlorella supplement for 18 hour. The rotifer fed with condensed marine Chlorella for 24 hours without fieshwater Chlorella was used as a control group. Culture tanks (5 $\ell$ working volume) was immersed in a water bath ($28^{\circ}C$). The density of rotifer and dissolved oxygen level in water was stable in control group of rotifer cultured with condensed marine Chlorella for 24 hours and the n-3 HUFA content of rotifer was the highest among the rotifer culture methods. However, the density of rotifer and dissolved oxygen level in the groups of rotifers enriched with $\omega$-yeast, Algamac and Super Selco by methods were drastically decreased, The n-3 HUFA contents of rotifers enriched by Super Selco were higher than those of rotifer enriched by either $\omega$-yeast or Algamac in both methods. The results from this experiment indicated that supplementation of condensed marine Chlorella for 24 hour by the semi-continuous culture was effective for the improvement of the nutritional value of rotifer and it could provide the stable growth condition for rotifer culture in high density.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the propagation system by seed to check growth, flowering, and making seed of four-year-old seedling cactus of potted Astrophytum asterias 'Nudum', A. asterias 'Super Kabuto', and A. myriostigma 'Nudum'. Plant height and width of Astrophytum asterias 'Nudum' and A. asterias 'Super Kabuto' was 5.3 to 5.5 cm, and 2.5 cm. However, plant height and width of A. myriostigma 'Nudum' was 7.6 cm and 5.6 cm as divided into 8 sections of body. In A. asterias 'Nudum', the mean seeded pod from April to September was 37.0% and the number of seeds in a pod was 43.0. In A. asterias 'Super Kabuto', the mean seeded pod from April to September was 22.5% and the number of seeds in a pod was 26.2. However, the mean seeded pod of A. myriostigma 'Nudum' from April to September was 32.3% and the number of seeds in a pod was 57.4. Especially, the seeded pod and the number of seeds in a pod of A. asterias 'Nudum' in July was the highest, 72.0% and 66.0. The sib crossing obtained much more seeded pods and the number of seeds per pod than that of selfing in the Astrophytum. The self crossing was formed from 9.0 to 20.0% of seeded pod, and 12.0 to 16.0 seeds in a pod. However, sib crossing was formed 60.0% seeded pod and 68.0 seeds in a pod on July of A. myriostigma 'Nudum'.
Changes in the contents of sugars and soluble solids and flavor rate of cooked kernels of three sweet com hybrids (Great Bell, Danok 1, and Golden Cross Bantam) and a super sweet corn hybrid (Crisp Super Sweet 720) were observed from 15 days after silking (DAS) to 27 or 33 DAS in 1985 and 1986 to determine the optimum harvest time. Sucrose content in all hybrids and fructose and glucose contents of Crisp Super Sweet 720 increased from 15 DAS to 21 or 24 DAS and then decreased. However, in the three sweet corn hybrids both fructose and glucose contents were highest at 15 DAS and then continuously decreased with maturity. At harvest time the major sugar component was sucrose and the highest total sugar content of Crisp Super Sweet 720 was 2-3 times higher than that of three sweet corn hybrids. Soluble solids were continuously increased with maturity in three sweet com varieties, but that of Crisp Super Sweet 720 increased up to 24 DAS, maintained the level through 30 DAS and then decreased. At harvest time soluble solids of three sweet com varieties were much higher than that of Crisp Super Sweet 720. The optimum harvest time seems to be about 27 DAS considering flavor rate and marketing conditions although the total sugar content was lower than those of earlier harvests. Soluble solids but not total sugars were positively correlated with the flavor of cooke6 com harvested at different growth stages in the same variety. Total sugars were not correlated with soluble solids or negatively correlated depending on hybrids.

In this study, growth characteristics of insects for mass production was investigated. For Hermetia illucens, the biomass was increased by the supply of the mixture of FWDF with hop cake and typical feed at the early growth stage, however, no difference was shown between 100% of FWDF and the mixture at the late stage. The growth of Housefly larvae was retarded with the 100% of FWDF, resulting in abnormal paputation, hence the amount of FWDF shoud be lowered to 20% to 30% for the efficient growth. Super mealworm larvae was found to grow with little influence by the kind of feed, and none of them was died or inhibited by the supply of FWDF as a feeding source.
An attempt was made to grow Y-Ba-Cu-O single crystals by skull method(cold crucible process). Grown YBa2Cu3O7-x(YBC) single crystals were obtained from the upper part of the YBC solid mixture. There were plate-like YBC single crystals aligned with solidified flux along the crystal growth direction. Single crystal size was (5$\times$2$\times$0.2㎣) and was grown to a-b plane of YBC crystal structure which can flow super currents. Optical microscope and X-ray diffraction were employed characterize these microstructure and YBC single crystals.
