중부지역 뿌리부추 하우스 재배 시 차광 정도가 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Shading Rates on Growth and Yield of Allium hookeri Cultivation at Greenhouse in Middle Area of Korea)

  • 본 연구는 뿌리부추를 시설하우스에서 재배할 경우 여름철 고온기 하고현상(Summer depression)을 방지하기 위하여 차광막을 하우스 내부 또는 외부에 설치하여 차광정도를 달리하면서 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2015년 하우스 내부에 무차광, 35, 55, 75, 95% 차광막을 설치하여 정식 후 20일째 되는 날에 최종 출현 정도를 조사한 결과, 무처리, 35 및 75% 차광에서 98% 출현하였고, 55 및 95% 차광에서 100% 출현하였다. 차광 정도와는 상관없이 모든 처리에서 최종 출현은 양호하였다. 하우스 내외부에 차광막을 설치했을 경우, 2년간 평균 생중량(Fresh weight)은 75% 차광에서 6,323kg/10a으로, 무차광, 35%, 55%, 95% 차광보다 각각 5.0배, 1.8배, 1.1배, 1.7배 높았다. 하우스 외부에 차광막을 설치할 경우 생중량은 75% 차광에서 684g으로, 55%, 95% 차광보다 1.1배, 1.8배 높았다. 건중량(Dry weight), 건물율(Percentage of dry matter), 엽수(No. of leaves), 분얼수(No. of branches), 초장(Plant height), 근장(Root length) 등 분석결과 75% 차광이 다른 차광 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높거나 절대적 수치가 높게 측정되어 중부지역에서 뿌리부추를 재배 할 경우에는 75% 차광이 가장 적합한 것으로 판단되었다.

  • 새로운 노지 월동작물과 수출유망 작물을 개발하기 위하여 1995년도에 shallot을 도입하였다. 적응력 시험을 수행하는 과정에서 구 비대기의 고온에 의한 식물체의 조기 고사현상 및 습해 발생으로 수량이 점차 감소되었다. 또한 영양번식체로 세대를 진전시키는데 기인한 종구의 퇴화현상과 같은 문제점이 발생하였다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 연도별 생산성과 지대별 적응성에 따른 shallot의 재배방법을 개발하기 위해 수행하였다. 연도별 생산성은 1995년에는 평균 구중이 18.7 g, 10a당 수량은 4,113 kg이었다. 재배 2차년(1996년)의 평균 구중은 25.8 g으로 무거워졌으나 수량은 10a당 2,013 kg으로 48.9%로 낮아졌다. 재배 3차년의 평균 구중과 10a당 수량은 1996년의 결과와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 재배 4차년(1998년)의 평균 구중은 21.1 g으로 증가하였으나 수량은 10a당 1,246 kg로 도입 당시의 30.3% 수준으로 크게 낮아졌다. Shallot의 고랭지, 준고랭지, 평야지, 해안 지대의 지대별로 적응력을 시험한 결과 식물체 생육은 월동 전 후 및 생육성기인 4월까지는 해안 지대에서 생육이 왕성하였다. 하지만 수확기인 7월에 가까워질수록 준고랭지가 해안 지대에 비해 수량이 57%가 많았다.

2006년 광릉 활엽수림에서 순 생태계 탄소 교환량의 모의에 대한 modified Soil-Plant-Atmosphere (mSPA) 모델의 평가 (Evaluation of Modified Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Model (mSPA) to Simulate Net Ecosystem Carbon Exchange Over a Deciduous Forest at Gwangneung in 2006)

  • 2006년 광릉 활엽수림지역에서 관측된 자료를 활용하여 수정된 토양-식생-대기 모델을 보정하고 연간 순생태 교환량의 계절변동성에 대한 모델의 모의 능력을 평가하고 탄소교환을 조절하는 주요 인자에 대하여 조사하였다. 수정된 토양-식생-대기 모델(mSPA model)을 1000 LST부터 1400 LST까지 관측된 낮 시간의 평균 순 생태 교환량(Net ecosystem exchange)을 모의하도록 보정한 후 총 일차 생산량(Gross primary productivity)을 계산하는데 사용하였고 생태 호흡량(Ecosystem respiration)은 관측지에서 개발된 경험식을 사용하여 추정하였다. 모델 결과는 여름철에 낮 시간의 평균 기공 전도도는 일사량과 매우 높은 상관성이 있음을 나타내었고 수증기 포차는 기공전도도의 변화에 큰 영향을 미치지는 않음을 보였다. 모델은 성장기간에 두 개의 극대값을 갖는 관측된 순 생태교환량의 계절 변동성을 모의하였다. 모델에서 계산된 연간 총 생산량과 생태호흡량, 그리고 순 생태 교환량은 각각 $964gC\;m^{-2}\;yr^{-1}$, $733gC\;m^{-2}\;yr^{-1}$ 그리고 $-231gCm\;^{-2}\;yr^{-1}$이었다. 관측값에 기반하여 산정된 연구결과와 비교할 때 모델 추정값이 약 $140gC\;m^{-2}\;yr^{-1}$ 더 많은 탄소 흡수를 보였다. 복잡한 지형에서 연간 생태 교환량 추정의 불확실성에 대하여 논의하였다.

  • Tlis experiment was to study the effects of application rates of mineral N and cattle slurry on the dry matter yield and botanical compositions of Orchardgrass sward grown in 4 cuttings in a year. Annual rates of mineral N of O($N_0$), 120kg(($N_1$), 240kg(($N_2$) and 360kg/ha(($N_3$) were applied as urea, and cattle slurry applied at rates of O(($N_0=N_0$), $40m^3$($S_1$), $80m^3$(($S_2$) and $120m^3$($S_3$), suppling 120kg, 240kg and 360kgl ha, respectively. The results were summarized as follows; 1. The limiting annual application rates of mineral N and cattle slurry was estimated about 120kg/ ha. 2. The growth of Orchardgrass after the 3rd cut was decreased by summer depression. Consequently, the botanical compositions of Orchardgrass showed only 7.7% and 4.0% in 3rd and 4th cut, respectively. However, the 15 and 17 species of weeds originated in 3rd and 4th cut. 3. The botanical compositions of Amaranthus mangostanus in 3rd cut and Portulacea aleracea in 4th cut were greatly increased with application rates of cattle sluny. 4. Relative efficiency of cattle sluny for the dry matter production of Orchardgrass as compared to mineral N were 93.396, 99.5% and 113.6% in 120kg, 240kg and 360kglha at rates of cattle slurry, respectively.

오리의 Pasteurella anatipestifer 감염증 발생 (Pasteurella anatipestifer infection in ducklings in Korea)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the cause of a new duck disease occured in southern part of Korea. A meat type duck farm located in Kangjin, Chonnam Province had experienced outbreaks of septicemic disease at around 20 days of age in nearly every batch of ducklings from early spring to early summer in 1989. Main symptoms of the birds were eye and nasal discharge, depression, inappetence, diarrhea and nervous signs such as tremor and ataxia. Some birds died suddenly without any signs. Mortality reached from 20% to 80% in severe cases. The autopsy findings of the affected ducklings revealed consistantly severe airsacculitis, fibropericarditis, perihepatitis and occasionaly enteritis and distended ureter with urate deposit. A rod shaped gram-negative bacterium was isolated purely from brain and liver of the diseased ducks by culturing the specimens on blood agar for 48 hours in candle jar. The isolate neither produced hemolysis nor grew on MacConKey Agar. It formed colony relatively slowly being recognizable at least 36 hours after culturing, reaching colony size of about 1mm in diameter at 48 hours culture. The colony looked iridescent under oblique light and had muddy odor. The isolate did not ferment carbohydrates tested but produced gelatinase, hippuricase and oxidase which were considered as characteristics of P anatipestifer. The isolate induced similar signs and lesions when infected experimentally into ducks of 3 to 38 days age via intraperitoneum or intratrachea. However it did not produce any clinical signs wen inoculated via intranasal route. It produced only mild signs in chicken just injected with a very large dose. The bacteria did not produce any signas or lesions in mice. It was concluded through biochemical and physiological tests and animal inoculation tests that the new disease was caused by P anatipestifer.

The Natural Environment during the Last Glacial Maximum Age around Korea and Adjacent Area

  • This study is conducted to examine the data of climate or environmental change in the northeastern Asia during the last glacial maximum. A remarkable feature of the 18,000 BP biome reconstructions for China is the mid-latitude extention of steppe and desert biomes to the modem eastern coast. Terrestrial deposits of glacial maximum age from the northern part of Yellow Sea suggest that this region of the continental shelf was occupied by desert and steppe vegetation. And the shift from temperate forest to steppe and desert implies conditions very much drier than present in eastern Asia. Dry conditions might be explained by a strong winter monsoon and/or a weak summer monsoon. A very strong depression of winter temperatures at LGM. has in the center of continent has influenced in northeast Asia similarly. The vegetation of Hokkaido at LGM was subarctic thin forest distributed on the northern area of middle Honshu and cool and temperate mixed forest at southern area of middle Honshu in Japan. The vegetation landscape of mountain- and East coast region of Korea was composed of herbaceous plants with sparse arctic or subarctic trees. The climate of yellow sea surface and west region of Korea was much drier and temperate steppe landscape was extended broadly. It is supposed that a temperate desert appeared on the west coast area of Pyeongan-Do and Cheolla-Do of Korea. The reconstruction of year-round conditions much colder than today right across China, Korea and Japan is consistent with biome reconstruction at the LGM.

혼방 및 연사방법에 따른 춘하용 아크릴 니트소재의 주관적 감성평가 (The Subjective Sensibility Evaluation of the S/S Acrylic Fabrics Knitted with Various Blended and Twisted Yarns)

  • We performed the subjective sensibility evaluation on knitted fabrics by the following procedures: setting acrylic fabrics used for S/S among fabrics as basis, five kinds of blended spun yarns and four kinds of twisted filament yarns made by different twisting methods then, we did questionnaire survey targeting sixty females in the expert groups. Utilizing SPSS 12.0, correlation, ANOVA, Duncan, and Multidimensional Standard way were analyzed. The results are as following. First, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sense factor, in the 'drape sense', the acrylic/rayon blended knit was preferred as the most flexible, pliable, and elastic knit; in weight/bulk factor, the acrylic filament knit the most twisted was preferred as the least bulk, thin, cool and transparent knit; in 'surface depression sense' factor, A(F)W acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most haggard, straight, dry knit. Second, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sensibility factor, in the 'neatness' the acrylic filament hit was preferred as the most clean, neat and delightful knit; in the 'comfortableness', the acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most natural, stable, and comfortable knit. Third, according to the result of evaluating on preferred knits as the spring and summer, generally the acrylic filament twisted yarn knits were more preferred than the acrylic blended yarns. However the preference on the kinds of the acrylic twisted filament yarn showed that there is a little difference on the acrylic blended yarn knit.

Effect of Feed Protein Source on Digestion and Wool Production in Angora Rabbit

  • Adult German cross $(German{\times}British{\times}Russian)$ angora rabbits (one year age), 32 in number were divided randomly into four groups $(T_1-T_4)$ with equal sex ratio and fed diets containing $T_1$ groundnut cake (GNC); $T_3$, soyaflakes (SF); $T_4$, sunflower cake (SFC) and $T_2$, a mixture of all the three cakes along with green forage as roughage for a period of 9 months. Nine per cent protein was added from each protein source. Fibre level was maintained by adjusting the level of rice phak in the diets. The diets were iso-nitrogenous and contained similar level of fibre. DMI through roughage was not affected due to source of protein in the diet, however, DMI through concentrate was higher $(p{\leq}0.05)$ with SFC diet, which resulted in higher total feed intake in the group $(T_4)$. Body weights increased up to second shearing, thereafter it decreased due to summer depression. Diet containing soyaflakes sustained higher wool yield whereas, it was lowest $(p{\leq}0.05)$ on SFC diet. Wool attributes (staple length, medullation, fibre diameter) were not affected due to source of protein in the diet. Digestibility of fibre and its fractions (ADF, cellulose, hemicellulose) decreased $(p{\leq}0.05)$ with incorporation of SFC in the diets. Balance of calcium was lowest whereas, that of nitrogen was highest with SFC diet $(T_4)$. Biological value of N and net protein utilization was better when different protein sources were mixed together $(T_2)$. Protein quality of soyaflakes proved better for wool production followed by groundnut cake and mixture of three protein sources. Sunflower cake alone or in combination decreased wool production which may be checked by supplementation of amino acids and energy.

혼파재배 토양이 옥수수 생육특성 및 영양수량에 미치는 영향 (Efect of Mixed-Culture Soil on Growth Characteristics and Nutrient Silage Corn)

  • This experiment was carried out to determine the effects of soil condition that previous crop cultivated after [TO: Soil of corn cultivated, T1 : Soil of rye monoculture cultivated(l50kg/ha), T2 : Soil of mixedculture cultivated(Rye : Red clover = 120 : 3koa). T3 : Soil of mixed-culture cultivated(Rye : Red clover = 90 : 6kg/ ha), T4 : Soil of mixedculture cultivated(Rye : Red clover = 60 : 9kg/ha), T5 : Soil of mixedculture cultivated (Rye: Red clover = 30 : 12kg/ha), T6 : Soil of red clover monoculture cultivated(l5kgha)) on the growth characteristics and nutrient yield of silage corn. The results are summarized as follows. 1. The plant length of silage corn was high in order of T6>T5>T4 treatment. In the leaf length, T5 and T6 treatment showed short compared to the other treatments, but they were wider than the other treatments in leaf width. In the number of leaf, T6 treatment was the highest as 14 leaves per plant, while T1 treatment showed lower than the other treatments as 12.6 leaves per plant. 2. In the stem hardness, ear length, ear width and ear full degree, soil treatment of red clover mono-culture cultivation(T6) showed higher than the other treatment as 5.1 1kg/$cm^2$, 20.8~~1, 7.7cm and 97%. respectively (P<0.01, 0.05). Ihe leaf of summer depression did not many occurrence, but T6 treatment was lower than the other treatment as 0.8 leaf per plant. 3. ADF and NDF composition were not affected by soil condition. Crude protein composition of T6 treatment was the highest as 7.8%. while TI treatment was the lowest as 6.9%. Fresh weight yield(59,083kg/ha), dry matter yield(21,743kg/ha), crude protein yield(l,369kg/ha) and TDN yield(15,800kg/ha) at T6 treatment were much more increased by 41.9, 47.5, 57.4 and 49% than TI treatment(39,410, 14,259, 827 and 10,056kg/ha).

Heat Shock Protein 유전자를 이용만 오차드그래스의 형질전환 (Transformation of Orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata L.) with Heat Shock Protein Gene)

  • 벼에서 분리한 저분자량 HSP 유전자 (OsHSP17.9)를 오차드그래스 (orchardgrass)에 도입하기 위하여 Agrobacterium을 이용한 형질전환을 실시하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다. 오차드그래스의 종자유래의 캘러스를 OsHSP17.9 유전자가 도입된 Agrobacterium EHA101과 공동배양한 다음, hygromycin 선발된 캘러스로부터 hygromycin 저항성 식물체를 얻었다. PCR 및 Southern blot 분석 결과, 벼의 저분자량 HSP 유전자가 재분화된 식물체에 안정적으로 도입되었음을 확인하였으며, 품종 간의 형질전환 효율은 '포토맥'의 경우 16.5%, '프론티어' 의 경우 8.0%를 나타내었다. 또한 Northern blot 분석 결과, 도입된 유전자가 형질전환체에서 정상적으로 발현된다는 것을 확인하였으며, 형질전환체의 계통 간에 발현량의 차이를 나타내었다.
