양방향 방송 서비스로의 전환을 맞아 다양한 사용자 요구 및 기호에 적합한 컨텐츠를 제공하고, 증가하는 방송 컨텐츠를 효율적으로 관리, 이용하기 위해 비디오의 자동 에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 내용 구성이 잘 갖추어진 어학 교육 비디오의 자동 에 대한 방법을 제안한다. 내용 기반을 자동으로 생성하기 위해 먼저 디지털 비디오로부터 샷 경계를 검출한 후, 각 샷을 대표하는 키프레임으로부터 비주얼 특징들을 추출한다. 그리고 추출된 다중 비주얼 특징을 이용해 어학 교육 비디오의 세분화된 내용 정보를 결정한다. 마지막으로, 결정된 내용 정보를 기술하는 요약문을 MPEG-7 MDS(Multimedia Description cheme)에 정의된 계층적 (Hierarchical Summary) 구조에 맞추어 XML 문서로 생성한다. 외국어 회화 비디오에 대해 실험하여 제안한 자동 방법의 효율성을 검증하였으며, 제안한 방법이 교육 방송용 컨텐츠의 다양한 서비스 제공 및 관리를 위한 비디오 요약 시스템에 효율적으로 적용 가능함을 확인하였다.

통계 데이타베이스의 효율적 이용을 위해 통계 분석을 위한 요약 정보를 미리 계산하여 저장함으로써 사용자에게 빠른 응답시간내에 통계 정보를 제공하려는 요약 데이타베이스와 이의 효율적인 관리와 사용의 편리를 위한 메타 데이타베이스가 생성되고 관리되어야만 한다. 요약 데이타베이스를 효율적으로 이용한 통계 분석 작업의 환경과 사용자의 편이성을 지원하기 위하여 계층 구조 형태인 데이타 사전/디렉토리의 형태로 독립적으로 운영되는 메타 데이타베이스와 관리기의 설계 및 구현 작업과 이를 이용한 운영 방법 등이 제시되었다.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the current status on stating a summary of assessments in the practical arts education and to analyze the problem and find out the reformation strategy for them. To achieve these purposes. 180 teachers working in all elementary schools located in Daegu-city was selected by systematic cluster sampling method. The data were collected by using the mailed questionnaire developed by the researcher, and there was a response rate of 91.7%. Findings showed that it was not realized the valid and reliable stating a summary of assessments because it was not fixed throughly in the elementary school. So many teachers had difficulties in assessing the practical arts subject and stating a summary of assessments. They used the computer programs of CMI(Computer Management Instruction) . Black Box. SA(Stand Along) for stating a summary of assessments. It was recommended that valid and reliable criteria of stating a summary of assessments should provided, and on-the-job training on the developing and selecting a good tools for stating a summary of assessments should required. And. it was also required that the various codes of stating a summary of assessments should developed. and the various materials. equipments. and systems should provided for teachers.

It is necessary to describe a data set after collection of data in elementary statistics course. Two major numerical summary of the data set may be measures of central location and dispersion. There are various unmerical summary methods in presenting how data are dispersed and each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. Quartiles are discussed among several methods to describe dispersion of data set. When data type is discrete, exact quartile values are sometimes ambiguous to find, whereas exact quartile values are obtained for contionuous data. Examples of both data types are given. Programs listed below may be used to provide quartiles in MINITAB and SAS.

그간의 선행연구는 짧은 동영상, 숏폼 콘텐츠, 스낵 컬처 등에 한정되었으며, 원본 콘텐츠를 압축·요약한 형태의 서머리 콘텐츠에 대한 연구는 드물었다. 따라서 본 연구는 유튜브 서머리 콘텐츠 이용자의 몰입과 만족을 불러오는 유튜브 서머리 콘텐츠 특성과 콘텐츠 제공자 신뢰성의 요인 분석을 통해, 궁극적으로 이용자 만족도 제고 방안을 탐구하여 서머리 콘텐츠 시장의 활성화에 기여하고자 하였다. 이에 유튜브 서머리 콘텐츠를 이용해 본 경험이 있는 202명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 분석 결과 모든 몰입 세부속성에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인은 오락성인 것으로 나타났으며, 완전성과 독창성은 일부 몰입 속성에만 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 간결성과 정보성은 유의한 영향을 주지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유튜브 서머리 콘텐츠의 특성을 정의하고, 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

KEPCO's AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) is a system that performs the real-time inspection and management of the 15-minute load profile of electric power consumption through a wired and/or wireless network such as CDMA. It has been utilized widely for real-time collection and data analysis. So far, KEPCO has focused on establishing wireless networks using CDMA and collecting data in real time but failed to consider sufficiently performances that can improve the quality of the original data required in terms of data utilization as well as establish the summary information. In this paper, we are going to show the functions that improve data quality by recording the final renewal time of any erroneous data and maintaining such data lists to use them in the rebuilding of summary information. The goals are to reduce any load applied mainly on the DBMS (Database Management System) of AMR, to enable the real-time performance of establishment in the summary information, and to obtain high-quality inspection data. The performance evaluation result has revealed a 10-fold improvement compared to the traditional disk-based DBMS system when the summary information is established.

In MPEG-21 Multimedia Framework, Digital Item (DI) is the minimum unit fur processing and delivering the multimedia contents. So how to process, manipulate and represent DI is a very important problem in the standpoint of interoperability for each terminal and provide., and Digital Item Processing (DIP) regarding this issue. This paper suggests technologies which are concerning how DIP should interact with other parts of MPEG-21 (Digital Item Adaptation (DIA), Intellectual Property Management and Protection (IPMP), etc.). For this concept, this paper uses the video summary contents which can describe the hierarchical structures of original multimedia contents. In MPEG-21 environment, the usage of this summary video is very useful delivery and consumption way in view of network burden, efficient accessing to contents.

데이터베이스의 사용이 증가하고 다루어야 하는 데이터의 양이 방대해지면서 데이터베이스 시스템을 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 성능 관리 기술이 중요해지고 있다. 특히 데이터 웨어하우스는 대용량의 데이터를 대상으로 복잡한 분석을 수행하거나 전략적 의사 결정을 위해 사용하기 때문에 신속한 질의 응답을 위한 성능 관리가 무엇보다 중요하다. 데이터 웨어하우스는 일반 운영계 시스템과는 다른 목적과 특성을 가지기 때문에 그에 적합한 성능 모니터링 방법 및 튜닝 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 OLTP(On-Line Transaction Processing)용 오라클 데이터베이스를 위한 국산 성능 관리 도구인 DBMax를 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에 적합하도록 기능을 확장한다. 우선 데이터 웨어하우스 응용 분야를 지원하기 위한 오라클 9i의 요약 관리(summary management) 기능과 ETL(Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading) 기능을 중심으로 데이터 웨어하우스 시스템의 성능 관리시 고려해야 할 요구 사항을 분석하고 이를 지원하는 DBMax의 확장 아키텍처를 설계 및 구현한다. 구체적으로 요약 관리와 ETL 작업을 지원하기 위한 오라클 9i의 다양한 스키마 객체에 대한 정보와 성능 관련 지표를 제시하여 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에서 수행되는 질의에 대한 SQL 튜닝 기능을 강화한다. 또한 사후 분석을 위한 BBMax의 로그 파일에서 의미 있는 SQL 문을 추출하여 잠재적으로 유용한 실체화된 뷰를 추천하는 요약 권고 기능을 추가한다.
