Successful operation of a computer network Is dependent on the adequate routing and flow control. Routing and flow control algorithms are studied together rather than as isolated mechanism. In this paper, we discuss the effect of the flow control and routing algorithms.

This paper represents the computer application techniques of initial and modification machining for dies with 3-dimensional scluptured surfaces. All procedures from die design to die machining and measurement are covered. The component of modelling is data management and modification (extrapolation and smoothing), surface modelling, and nc program preparation. Also this paper introduces the utility for successful and efficient operation of system such as map generation, data communication, tool path verification, contour map generation, graphic processing of extrapolation and smoothing results, and CAD/CAM system interface. Examples are given to illustrate the modelling.

A 15-year-old girl underwent successful surgical correction of double-outlet right ventricle [S.D.L.] subaortic ventricular septal defect, patent foramen ovale, and pulmonary hypoplasia with valvular stenosis. The operation consisted of an internal baffling connecting the left ventricle to the aorta through the ventricular septal defect. The pulmonary stenosis was corrected with the method of connection the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery bifurcation using the Hancock valve[18mm] contained conduit. This rare type of DORV seemed to be suitable for corrective surgery, and the patient`s condition is very good until present time (post operative 7 months).

Three single loop fuzzy logic controllers are designed independently for the control of boiler system of fossil-power plant. The control rules and the membership functions of proposed fuzzy logic control system are generated automatically without using plant model. The simulation shows successful results for wide range operation of boiler system of fossil-power plant.

The risk assessment model is an important subsystem for effective establishment and operation of EMS (environment management system). In case of poor risk assessment long-term and large-scale failure expense might be brought. Managing policy, target and other indices based on risk assessment can guarantee successful EMS. In this paper, we aim at comparative analysis of various risk methods and propose an alternative risk assessment model for EMS.

The world's largest twin skeg VLBC developed at Samsung shipyard for BHP, Austrailian owner, has been proven as a successful vessel through 1 year's operation record in view of the superior propulsion performances, maneouverability in extremely shallow water and all ship's systems, especially, ship's vibration. The principal technical matter during the design development from the initial design stage to the sea trial has been summarized on this report.

Ramp-rate limitation is a serious obstacle for successful operation of fast charging and discharging magnet Ramp-rate limitation is hard to expect or fully investigate due to its electric and thermo-hydraulics couplings. In this paper, the simplest case of ramp-rate limitation is investigated with two-strand superconducting cable model considering transient heat transfer The simulation results are compared with the experimental results.

This paper reports on a study investigating key attributes of service recovery strategies in internet shopping mall. In theses day, service recovery has received important attention in the service operation management literature. Service recovery involves those actions designed to resolve problems, alter negative attitudes of dissatisfied consumers and to ultimately retain these customers. The study examined that service recovery strategies (apology, compensation) impact on the customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction impacts on customer loyalty with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). This study can be used a strategic implication for internet shopping mall managers to develop successful service recovery strategies.

A retrospective clinical observation was made of 40 patients with postoperative cerebral dysfunction among 2634 patients who underwent open-heart operations in Severance Hospital. Yonsei University between 1962, the year the first successful open heart operation was done, and June 1985. Suspected causes of brain damage were reviewed. Brain CT findings were evaluated in 24 patients. There were 15 cerebral infarcts, 4 intracerebral bleedings, 3 ischemic brain damages, 1 infarction with intracerebral hemorrhage and 1 diffuse cortical atrophy from unknown cause. The most frequent site of cerebral infarction was the middle cerebral artery area with no predilection on the right of left.
