The Kalman filter implementation for SDINS alignment using the E.M.Log (E.M.Log를 이용한 스트랩다운 관성항법장치의 초기정렬을 위한 칼만필터 구현)

  • In an underwater vehicle, the navigation error is mostly caused by the initial misalignment, the bias of a gyro and an accelerometer, and the sea current. Therefore, it is important that these error sources are estimated and compensated in order to reduce the navigation error. In this paper, the E.M.Log aided SDINS is designed by using the E.M.Log which measures the forward velocity of a vehicle. And the system error state equation and the measurement equation are derived and the suboptimal Kalman Filter is established for this aided SDINS. The simulation result showed that this had an important role in estimating and compensating these error sources, thus reducing the navigation error of an underwater vehicle.

  • This paper proposes a method of suboptimal control for DC servomotor using a neural network. First we consider a nonlinear observer which is constructed by using an approximated linear dynamics of the nonlinear system and a, neural network. The reccurent neural network is used for the learning of the dynamical system. Next we consider the nonlinear observer. Then, we apply the observer output to nonlinear optimal regulator and confirm the effectiveness by applying the method to the inverse pendulum system.

  • This paper presents a new delay-dependent robust stabilization condition for uncertain time-delay systems. An algorithm involving convex optimization is proposed to compute a suboptimal upper bound of the delay such that the system can be stabilized by the controller for all admissible uncertainties. It is illustrated by numerical examples that the proposed delay-dependent controller can be less conservative than previous results. It is also shown that the proposed delay-dependent controller can even capture the delay-independent stability of the system, which is not possible with existing delay-dependent results.

  • 제한된 출력 즉 오차 측정된 출력 값만을 사용하여 원하는 목표치에 도달하도록 하는 제어 문제를 푸는데 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 종종 그러한 제어기를 설계할 때 해를 구하기 어려운 Non Linear Two Point Boundary Value Problem에 직면하게 된다. 특히 Reduced order 추정자 알고리즘은 백색 잡음에 의하여 영향을 받은 선형 시스템의 측정된 상태 뿐 만 아니라 보조 상태를 추정하기 위하여 개발되었다. 추정자를 설계할 때 상태는 무편향성이고 추정자의 편차는 추정자 및 추정상태와 공통되는 상태에 대한 모든 출력의 subspace에 수직이 된다. 특히 reduced order에서의 필터 성능은 full order에서의 필터 성능에 대해 suboptimal 이지만 상응한 Riccati equation을 푸는데 계산시간이 줄고 memory사용이 적은 이점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 Kronecker algebra와 선택행렬을 이용하여 Non Linear Two Point Boundary Value Problem을 Linear Two Point Boundary Value Problem으로 변환시켜 부수적으로 수반되는 대수적인 Riccati equation을 유도함으로써 문제를 쉽게 해결하는데 있다.

  • We introduce a new stable feedback controller eventually converges to a conventional SDRE(State Dependent Riccati Equation) based optimal (suboptimal) controller. On conventional SDRE, the optimal control input should be obtained by backward integration of the SDRE at each control point. The proposed controller is given by direct forward integration of a proposed SDRE. This fact enables fast computation and easy implementation. On concerning a state dependent system, the proposed controller may be a candidate to the conventional SDRE based optimal controller if the system is slow varying with states. Though the controller is fast and easy to implement it is not able to cope with a fast varying system.   • In order to develope transfer alignment algorithm which achieves accurate initial alignment of slave strapdown inertial navigation system(SDINS) of a missle using master SDINS of mobile launchers third-order suboptimal filter is constructed to estimate the transformation matrix between two SDINS coordinates. In Kalman Filter formulation, the measurement equation uses that of accelerometer when stationary, and is replaced by that of gyroscope when elevating the missle. This switching method is applied to increase the degree of observability and to remove the error generated by lever arm effect. Simulation results show that the azimuth transfer error is about 0.3 mrad, and confirm that this scheme has a potential for real application.

  • MM(multimode) PWM(pulse width modulation) Suitable for high performance and harmonic effects minimization of VSI (voltabge source invertetr)-IM (induction motor)drive system is proposed. The approximated optimal, suboptimal and optimal PWM are implemented in the low frequency range, while square wave operation is realized in the hibh frequency range. The pulse width Modulator is capable of generating control signals to a transistorized inverter operating at about 1KHz. All functions except digital comparison have been implemented in softyware making the scheme economical, flexible and reliable. Pulse width modulator is built and tested experimentally. In order to confirm the effectiveness and the reliability of the theoretical proposition, this scheme is applied to 1Hp, Three phase IM. As results, it is concluded that the scheme of MM PWM is superior to other conventional switching scheme through the discussions or analysis carried out on the items such as line-to-line voltage, current and spectrum of current harmonic components observed at the output terminal of inverter, noise level of motor.

  • 유연한 구조물의 진동은 이론적으로는 무한개의 진동모우드를 포함하고 있기 때문에 진동을 감 소시키기 위한 제어시스탬을 설계할 때에는 유한개의 진동모우드로 진동하고 있다는 가정하에서 제어기를 설계하는 것이 보통이다. 그러나 이러한 방법으로 구조물 진동을 제어할 때에는 설계 시에 제외된 잔류 진동모우드에 의해서 오히려 구조물의 진동이 더욱 심하게 되어 안정성을 해 치는 결과를 낳는 수가 있다. 본 연구에서는 잔류 모우드에 의한 불안정성을 제거하기 위해 최 적제어 이론을 바탕으로 제어이론을 개발하였다. 구조물 진동이 안정화되기 위한 필요조건을 제시하였고 외팔보 진동의 예를 시뮬레이션하여 제어이론을 증명하였다.

  • This paper presents a method of suboptimal control for nonlinear systems via block pulse transformation. The adaptive optimal control scheme proposed by J.P. Matuszewski is introduced to minimize the performance index. Nonlinear systems are controlled using the obtained optimal control via block pulse transformation. The proposed method is simple and computationally advantageous. Viablity of the this method is established with simulation results for the van der Pol equation for comparision with other methods.

  • This paper addresses the problem of resource allocation in amplify-and-forward (AF) relayed OFDM based cognitive radio networks (CRNs). The purpose of resource allocation is to maximize the overall throughput, while satisfying the constraints on the individual power and the interference induced to the primary users (PUs). Additionally, different from the conventional resource allocation problem, the rate-guarantee constraints of the subcarriers are considered. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer programming task and adopt the dual decomposition technique to obtain an asymptotically optimal power allocation, subcarrier pairing and relay selection. Moreover, we further design a suboptimal algorithm that sacrifices little on performance but could significantly reduce computational complexity. Numerical simulation results confirm the optimality of the proposed algorithms and demonstrate the impact of the different constraints.
