우리나라 대학도서관 주제서비스의 현단계 -부산대학교 도서관을 중심으로- (The Present State of the 'Subject Services' of the University Libraries in Korea -With Special Reference to Pusan National University Library-)

  • Librarians, who work for University libraries in Korea experience a lot of confusion and difficulties because of rapidly-changing technological conditions and under-developed understanding of the University Libraries' full potential on the part of the users. I present the concept of 'Subject Services' as an approach which librarians could use to overcome these difficulties in their own way. The 'Subject Services' refers to the 'subjectized' collection development and reference services, which can more specifically address the users' needs. To make this idea more concrete, I selected Pusan National University Library as the case of my qualitative research. And I made use of various research techniques such as 'participant observation' and 'ethnographic interview'. After looking into the case library in depth, I found that the concept of 'Subject Specialist'. a person who has double master's degrees including that of library and information science, is more suitable to the University Libraries in Korea at the present developmental stage. At the end of this article, propose that the development of Core Collections, the improvement of subject-oriented reference services and the continuing education of librarians should be emphasized.

초등학교 교과전담교사 배정 현상에 대한 경험 탐색 (The Experience Study on Patterns Phenomenology in the Allocation of Subject-specialized Teachers at Elementary Schools)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine various conditions, which are recognized by teachers in the allocation of subject-specialized teachers at elementary schools, into five types of conflicts, in order to offer implications for the operation and allocation of the subject exclusive system henceforth. The study, therefore, categorized the actual allocation process experienced by subject-specialized teachers at elementary schools into five aspects the first is, understanding of students, the second, the ability to teach exclusive subjects, the third, a relationship with students, the fourth, workplace environment at schools, and the fifth, the continuity of subject specialist teachers. Conditions demonstrated in each category are classified into the types that occurred by individual and mutual roles demonstrated through in-depth, where keywords are selected by aspects to suggest conflict conditions. In order to operate the subject exclusive system more efficiently and to boost the effects of positive education, the workplace environment at schools need to be improved urgently, including a variety of training, program development, and financial support. The most vital requirement is to prepare groundwork through mutual understanding and collection of extensive opinions from field teachers based on a consensus that a school is an educational community. The study anticipates that the result could provide a foundation for the preparation of qualitative improvement and development measures for the subject exclusive system at elementary schools.

한방전문간호사 교육과정 개발 연구 (A Study for a Curriculum for the Oriental Clinical Nurse Specialist Program)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum for the oriental clinical nurse specialist program based on the understanding of Korean human beings so as to develop nursing as a profession and promote the client's health. The design of this study was based on literature review and nominal group study. The research was managed by East-West Nursing Research Institute of nursing science college at Kyung Hee University. The research team was composed of 17 professors of nursing departments of oriental medical colleges. We obtained opinions from Oriental Nurses Association, Oriental Nursing Research Association, and professors in oriental medical college. We reviewed articles, curriculums of other clinical nurse specialist programs, medical laws and the curriculum development plan for the oriental clinical nurse specialist program from Korean Nurses Association. We discussed a curriculum thoroughly in numerous meetings. We developed a following curriculum: 1. Educational philosophy was founded on the oriental human view which was based on Chun-In union theory. It was founded on the oriental health view which recognized health being in harmony with nature and the balance of body function with the harmony of Yin-Yang in the five elements. In addition, it was founded on oriental nursing view to promote these health states. 2. Educational goals were to train oriental clinical nurse specialists, oriental nursing educators and oriental nursing researchers who developed knowledge of oriental nursing theory, nursing practice and created a leadership. 3. Curriculum consisted of 48 credits, of which 36 credits are based on lectures and laboratory classes and 12 credits are based on clinical practice. 36 credits consisted of 5 general subject credits and 31 core subject credits. General subjects consisted of nursing theory, nursing research, law and ethics. Students who had earned master's degrees are not required to take the general subjects. Core subjects consisted of 11 subjects such as advanced physical examination and laboratory, oriental nursing theory, original text of oriental nursing, oriental medical nursing, oriental pediatric nursing, oriental gynecologic nursing, oriental gerontologic nursing, oriental pharmacology, oriental constitutional nursing, advanced nursing of channels and acupuncture points and laboratory and oriental rehabilitation nursing and laboratory. In addition, clinical practice in a hospital ward, out patient department, herb prepation room, department of physical therapy and health promotion center in oriental medical hospitals for 12 weeks. To admit this program, students should complete prerequisites of introduction to oriental nursing and nursing of channels and acupuncture points. 4. Course contents of each subjects were developed to include the course's goal and objectives and specific items. 5. Evaluation involved lecture, laboratory and in field practice. We applied various evaluation systems and methods that were based on both knowledge and skills of the students to ensure full credibility and validity.

고객관계관리(CRM) 관점에서의 대학도서관 주제전문서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Subject Reference in Academic Libraries From a Perspective of Customer Relationship Management)

  • 본 연구는 근래 국내 대학도서관에서 도입이 가시화되고 있는 주제전문서비스를 마케팅의 한 분야인 고객관계관리(Customer Relationship Management: CRM)의 관점에서 살펴보고, 실제로 이 서비스가 대학도서관의 이용자, 특히 교수진들과의 관계에서 수행하는 역할과 이를 통한 마케팅의 효과를 알아보는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 서비스의 실무자인 주제전문사서들과의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰와 서비스 대상자인 교수이용자와의 개별 심층 면접법을 실시하였으며, 또한 대학도서관의 교수이용자와의 관계의 유지 및 심화를 위한 주제전문사서의 요건을 함께 논의하였다. 본 연구는 주제전문서비스의 목적과 특성을 이용자 및 CRM의 관점에서 논의하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.

대야보건소에 내원한 정신분열병 회원 20례에 대한 체질진단소견 (Study of Sasang Constitutional Tendency on the 20 Cases of Schizophrenic Patients Visiting Daeya Public Health Center)

  • The causes of schizophrenia are multifactorial and stress-diathesis model is one of the supporitive causes. This study is aimed for Sasang Constitutional tendency of schizophrenic patients. 20 Subjects are recruited from Gunsan Mental Health Center. They agreed with this study in advance and visited Daeya Public Health Center to interview with Sasang Constitutional Specialist. Their Sasang Constitution types are determined by QSCC II and interview with specialist. Taeumin and Soyangin are prevelant among the 20 cases of schizophrenic subjects visiting Public Health Center; 10 subjects are Taeumin, 9 subjects are Soyangin and 1 subject is Soeumin.

A Study on the Efficient Management of Liberal Education for Improving Computer Literacy

  • In this paper, we propose efficient management method of liberal education for improving computer literacy. We analyzed the actual conditions and factors affecting education and reflected the analysis results in education. The subject of the study is 'Practice Excel', and tested achievement based on computer literacy. In order to evaluate objectively, we conducted CBT(Computer Based Test) based on Computer Specialist in Spreadsheet & Database Level-2. Analysis of the questionnaire included the use of the popular statistical program, IBM SPSS 24 trial, and frequency, ANOVA, t-test, crossover analysis, and correlation. Evaluation results, An important factor influencing educational performance was active participation. It also proved to be very helpful for understanding excel functions & expression.

대학도서관의 주제전문사서에 대한 이용자 인식제고방안에 관한 연구 (A Study of Reconsideration for Users in the Subject-Special Librarians of the University Libraries)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 오늘날 주제전문사서에 대한 연구가 구체적으로 진행되고 있고, 적지않은 대학도서관에서 주제전문사서를 두어 운영하고 있는 시점에서, 실제 이용자가 주제전문사서에 대한 인지, 필요성, 유용성 등을 인식하고 이를 활용함으로서 이용자의 교육과 연구에 많은 도움이 된다는 사실을 알 수 있도록 하는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 주제전문사서의 역할 및 운영현황을 살펴보고 표본도서관을 선정하여, 도서관을 이용하는 실제 이용자들의 인식을 조사, 분석하였다. 또한, 이용자가 요구하는 대학도서관 주제전문사서의 자질과 이용자인식을 향상시키는 방안을 조사하였다. 그리하여 이를 기반으로 대학도서관 주제전문사서에 대한 실제적인 이용자인식제고방안을 모색하였다.

대학 경호 관련 학과의 교육과정 특성에 관한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Research on the Curriculum of Department Security Programs in University)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경호비서로서 대학 경호 교과과정에 대한 차이에 대하여 문화기술적 방법인 면접을 통하여 심층적으로 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 서울에 위치한 사기업에 근무하는 4년제 대학졸업자로 3년 이상의 실무경력자를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 자료수집과 분석과정에서 연구진실성과 윤리성에 대해 전문가를 통해 지속적인 검증을 받았다. 연구방법 및 결과 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 활용성부분에 있어 무도 및 스포츠관련 교과목이 비서 및 의전관련 교과목 보다 상대적으로 많은 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 비서 및 의전관련 교과목에 대한 중요성을 강조하였다. 둘째, 교과과정의 프로그램의 필요성에 있어서 남성은 전문가 양성과 전공의 세분화를 강조하였으며, 여성은 여성학, 의전, 상류계층의 문화와 관련한 프로그램을 강조하였다. 셋째, 교과과정의 이론과 실무사이에 차이에 대하여 사경호에 대한 교과과정의 전문성의 차이점을 강조하였다.

전공특성에 따른 대학도서관 주제자료실의 이용태도 및 공간 계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Usage and Space Planning in Subject Specialization of University Library for Major)

  • This study was conducted under the premise that the university library's subject specialization room is in need of major modifications in order to accommodate the needs of various majors. The subject specialization room will be able to support university library users who are inclined to use the general reading room. Therefore, the study presents spatial planning for the average university library's subject specialization room by taking into account student majors. This could be a guideline for the construction and renovation of university libraries in the future. The summary of results for this study and the conclusions are as follows: 1)Natural sciences subject specialization room should be, partially connected with the humanities/social science subject specialization room in order to provide an open-concept reference room. In the shared area connecting the two subject specialization rooms needs to be installed a staff counter and subject specialist librarian service booth for users of both subject specialization rooms. 2)For humanities/social sciences subject specialization room, partially connect with the natural sciences subject specialization room. In the connecting area between the two rooms, plan an open-concept lounge for resting and reading. 3)It is best to plan subject specialization room for art/music/physical education majors separate from the subject specification room of other majors. Structurally separate art/music/physical education major subject specialization rooms from the building or plan a separate room in an art/music/physical education building. Users of art/music/physical education majors showed a high preference for a spatially separated and specialized library structure, which proves that an art/music/physical education library need to be planed based on the specialized library structure found in law school libraries or medical school libraries. Plan the center of the room with open-concept based reading room. Use wall-sides, partitions, or shelves to create reading space separate from the shelving area.

특화도서관 사서의 인식조사 기반 활성화 방안 연구 (A Study on Activation Plan of the Perception Survey Foundation for Specialized Library Librarian)

  • 본 연구에서는 특화도서관 사서를 대상으로 특화서비스 현황, 특화서비스의 전반적인 만족도 등을 조사하고, ISA 기법을 기반으로 특화 주제 자료, 특화서비스 장소, 특화프로그램, 특화 주제 분야 시설 및 환경에 대한 중요도와 만족도를 비교하여, 특화도서관 운영의 문제점과 개선방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 특화도서관 주제 선정은 해당 도서관 지역의 특징, 역사, 자원 등을 반영하여 주제를 선정해야 하며, 뿐 만 아니라 지역 주민 및 이용자의 수요조사를 통해 선정해야 한다. 둘째, 특화도서관은 특화 주제 분야에 적합한 프로그램 유형과 이용자의 수요조사를 기반으로 체험형, 강의형, 관람형 등의 유형을 개발하여야 한다. 셋째, 특화도서관 공간은 일체형, 일체 속 분리형, 분리형으로 나누어 볼 수 있는데, 분리형으로 독립적인 특화 공간을 제공하는 것이 가장 좋지만, 각 도서관의 상황 및 특화 주제의 특징을 고려하여 공간을 구성해야 한다. 넷째, 특화도서관은 해당 주제 분야의 전문가를 최소한 1명 정도는 특화 전담인력으로 배치해야 한다. 전담 인력은 특화공간에서 해당 주제와 관련된 수서, 정리, 열람과 관련된 업무, 특화관련 프로그램 운영, 특화 관련 대출 및 참고서비스를 제공해야 하며, 특화주제분야의 전문가이면서도 도서관의 일반적인 기능을 수행하는 사서여야 한다.
