Schizoprymnus terebralis ($Snofl{\acute{a}}k$, 1953) in the Helconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) is reported for the first time in Korea. Redescription, diagnosis, host information and illustrations are provided.

The genus Nipponopsyche Yazaki is reported from Korea with the species, N. fuscescens Yazaki for the first time. Adult including genitalia, larva, and pupa of the species are redescribed, and DNA barcode for precise identification of the species is also provided.

Objectives: With increasing concerns for the rapidly growing minority population in South Korea, this literature review addressed a range of mental health risks among multiethnic youths (MY) in South Korea by 1) comparing mental health outcomes with those of native-born youths and 2) identifying multiple layers of relevant environmental factors, from family and school relationships to culture. Methods: We reviewed 54 studies that fulfilled specific inclusion criteria. Results: Multiple common risk/protective factors, including family separation, family relationship quality, parental socioeconomic and mental health status, social relationships at school, and cultural acceptance, were noted. Conclusion: In general, empirical evidence indicates that minority youths have relatively heightened risks for emotional and behavioral problems. Future studies must elucidate the complex interplay between multiple risk and protective factors and the long-term adaptation and mental health service utilization of MY.

Although many imaging modalities can play some roles in the diagnosis of vertebral artery dissection (VAD), digital subtraction angiography (DSA) remains the gold standard method, with the highest detection rate and ability to assist in planning for endovascular treatment. However, this tool is often avoided in children because its invasive nature and it exposes them to radiation. High resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HR-MRI) have been suggested to be a reliable and non-invasive alternative, but it has never been discussed in children in whom vertebral artery dissection is a rare condition. In this report, we evaluate a case of a 2-year-old child who initially presented with cerebellar symptoms, and was early diagnosed with vertebral artery dissection using HR- MRI and was successfully treated.

When designing a new RNSS signal, the performance analysis for the legacy signal providing the same service, is required to determine the performance requirements. However, there are few studies on the secured service (SS) signal performance analysis, and the waveform is the only published information on the signal design component of the SS signal. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce several figures-of-merit (FoMs) that can be used for performance analysis in terms of the waveform. And then, we calculate the FoMs, such as autocorrelation main peak to secondary peak ratio (AMSR), spectral efficiency, Gabor bandwidth, multipath error, and jamming resistance quality factor, for the existing SS signals and discuss the analysis results. Finally, we conclude that the superior waveform for each FoM is different, and that the consideration of the trade-off relationship between the FoMs is required for waveform design.

In order to develop a Korea Positioning System (KPS) as part of key national infrastructure, independent navigation signal design is essential. The designed signal candidates must coexist with existing or planned GNSS signals within the limited frequency band. This requires a RF compatibility assessment, which can be performed using the Spectral Separation Coefficient (SSC) and Effective Carrier to Noise Density Ratio (Effective C/N0), for navigation signals. Thus, in this paper, the analysis of RF compatibility between the designed signal candidates and the existing GNSS signals is carried out based on analytical and numerical techniques.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether attachment to primary caregivers and family interaction affect rural children's social competence through self-regulation ability. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with 345 students aged 11-13 attending elementary schools in a rural area of Gyeongsang Province. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis using the AMOS 23.0 program. The main result was that rural children's self-regulation had an indirect effect on attachment with primary caregivers and family interaction through social competence. The findings of this study will contribute to designing a variety of programs that can promote the positive development of social competence among rural children.

Unidimensional construct of conspicuous consumption which focuses on the ostentation of the economic assets are limited in describing today's consumers. We propose that both ostentation of social status and demonstration of uniqueness through overt consumption should be considered in the realm of conspicuous consumption. This research aims to examine the two dimensions of conspicuous consumption tendencies and their impact on new product adoption intention, which is mediated through the perceived value of the new products. This research empirically validates the theoretical conjecture by conducting an online survey (N=272). Our empirical findings reveal that ostentation of social status influences new product adoption intention both directly and indirectly through perceived social value, while demonstration of uniqueness improves new product adoption intention only indirectly through perceived utilitarian and hedonic value. This research identifies the ostentation of social status and demonstration of uniqueness as two dimensions of conspicuous consumption and refines scales to measure them. In addition, this research identifies conspicuous consumption as a driver of new product adoption intention and recognizes the mediating role of perceived value.
