In this paper, we present implemetnations of subcontract management system using intranet. Subcontract management is including the support functions such as process control, official documents exchange, and transmission of subcontract management policy carried out by a big companys subcontract management department. By the use of the developed system, both big company and subcontract company are expected to have benefits from a consistent management of information and a strong access function through the internet. Also, it will reduce time lag ocurred a legacy management between two companies in the past.

The purpose of this study is to examine contract management method with regard to Direct Payment of Subcontract Payment outlined in Article 14 of The Fair Trade Subcontract Transactions Act. The literature research and deductive demonstration are adopted as research method. And the findings of this study are as followed. (1) The study has shown the closer interpretation on the legal condition and the impact of Direct Payment of Subcontract Payment. (2) The study has revealed the solution for the questions concerning Direct Payment of Subcontract Payment by exploring and demonstration. (3) The study has suggested contract management method for contractual parties with respect to Direct Payment of Subcontract Payment.

It compared subcontractor with contractor that are wages, the labor hour and labor condition of the work environment back are inferior relative. The subcontractor which basically the contract workers evade the dangerous process or the difficult work, the dirty work back what is called 3D the case which does to keep a business is many. so With life it will be threatened consequent health directly. The possibility where the subcontractor will be exposed to danger work came to be high. Together the reason of subcontract at managing the big business the case which becomes accomplished in objective, about lower the immediacy safety&health problem, subcontractor assigned workers is the actual condition only it could not be deteriorated more in public finance of the supply and enterprise and technical ability insufficiency. Consequently it prevents the subcontract which danger work is insensitive from this research and immediacy of the subcontract workers who is weak hygiene circumstance complement the plan it will be able to secure the immediacy safety&health subcontract workers, substantially to prepare in the hazard subcontract proprietor.

A subcontract work order is the basis of the construction process and consists of the root and trunk of the construction industry. The construction process through a subcontract work order is an important element of project success, and it is the basic unit of creating profit in the construction industry. Therefore, correct analysis and forecasting of subcontract work orders allow correct estimation of construction cost and profit which is the foundation of corporate decision making. This study has started to provide predictions of subcontractor's bidding-ratio for decision-making. Since the actual project data has been used in this study, the contribution level of the model is highly expected in actual field. The statistical confidential level of adjusted decision coefficient is concluded low because of limited sample numbers. However, its accuracy and confidence level can be increased through increasing sample numbers, considering more variables, and studying of reducing error.

Background: Safety climate and occupational stress are related with occupational accident. The present study tried to identify the differences in safety climate and occupational stress according to occupational accidents experience and employment type (e.g., direct workers and subcontract workers). Methods: In this study, we conducted a survey using safety climate scale and Korean Occupational Stress Scale and classified the participants into four groups: direct workers working for accident-free departments, direct workers working for accident departments, subcontract workers working for accident-free departments, and subcontract workers working for accident departments for 2 years within the same workplace in the shipbuilding industry. Results: The direct workers and subcontract workers showed diverse results in subscales of safety climate and occupational stress. This result is supported by existing studies; however, further study is necessary for more supporting evidence and elaborative methodological approach. Conclusion: The necessity of management for safety climate and psychosocial factor such as occupational stress for both direct workers and subcontract workers as a whole is suggested by this study.

The construction industry has complicated production processes with diverse disciplines and subcontractors, which is the major cause of lowered productivity. To solve this problem, multi-trade subcontract system is recently suggested. Some general construction companies have applied this method to some sections of work process. However, this is in the early stage of application. The purpose of this study is to define an integrated contract package for improving both contractor and subcontractor efficiency. First, this study recognizes construction company to need of multi-trade subcontract system. Finally, it suggests feasible activities which can be useful for a construction company to apply to this subcontract system.

In 2012, Korean overseas construction market has achieved 64.9 billion dollars of contract order and its amount has increased since the mid 2000's. However, importance of qualitative growth based on profitability as well as quantitative growth is also emphasized. This study analyzed overseas plant project's subcontract process management which is closely related to cost management as one of the qualitative growth methods. In order to select major subcontract processes, extensive literature review and focus group interview(FGI) were implemented and then professionals with years of experience in the overseas plant projects were participated in the questionnaire survey. The collected data were analyzed by Benefit-Structure Analysis(BSA) model. The findings of this study include: (1) the seven and six subcontract processes are positioned in the area of importance control factor and in the area of maintenance/control factor, respectively; (2) administration capability attainment is needed for the six subcontract processes in the area of importance control factor and sustainable management system is required for the processes in the maintenance/control factor area. The further research will identify key subcontract processes to be managed for overseas plant projects by Korean EPC contractors based on the findings of this research.

The purpose of this study is to classify government regulations and to present the direction of regulation policy in korean construction industry with focus on subcontract or special contractor. The literature research and type analysis are adopted as research method. And the results of this study are as followed. The study has shown the type of government regulations related with subcontract or specialty contractor in korean construction industry. Also, Having shown the institutional function of the regulations in the market. And the study has presented the approach to reform government regulations in construction industry. First, government must recognize not only economic efficiency but also social equity as equivalent policy values. Second, government must evaluate the benefit and cost of policy group as regulations have changed. Third, government must analysis the functions and effects of regulation reform in comparison with existing regulation.

Construction market structure give to third subcontract from contractor that received bid. A general contractor is subcontract to subcontractor that construct final product. When the subcontractor is related with productivity on the site, a study is lack to subcontractor productivity. The property of construction industry include many subcontractor at one project. If a subcontractor will improve productivity, total productivity would improve on the site. We will understand about subcontractor productivity and suggest about productivity method.
