경기도 일부 학교급식 조리원의 직무만족도에 관한 영양사와 조리원의 인식 비교 (A Study on the Differences of the School Foodservice Cooks' Job Satisfactions between Dietitian and Cooks in Gyeonggi Province)

  • School foodservice employees are involved with every aspect of ensuring that high quality meals are prepared and they influence student satisfaction. The objective of this study was to identify whether job satisfaction of cooks is affected by their relationships with management. Survey forms that were developed for foodservice dietitians and employees were interviewed. Questionnaires to measure job satisfaction were distributed to 30 schools in the Gyeonggi province and completed by 30 dietitians and 323 cooks. Foodservice cooks' job satisfaction was evaluated by measuring attitudes towards aspects of their job using the modified Smith method(1969). All items in the scales were coded by 4 Likert scale(1: nerver satisfied, 4: very satisfied), then grouped by using factor analyses. Statistical methods used in this study were a $x^2$-test, t-test with SPSS software(version 12.0). The study results were as follows; 1) The demographic data showed that 65.3% of respondents were in their 40s, 96% were married, 68.8% were high school graduates, and 93.5% were contracted employees. Regarding overall experience in their current workplace, 27.9% had been in their position over 5 years and 25.7% said less than 2 years. 2) Most of the school lunches was served in the classroom(73.3%). The cook working was rotated among the employees(90%). Most employees did not use a day's leave of absence per month because they were averse to burdening their coworkers. 3) There were no significant differences in job satisfaction between the cooks' self-evaluation scores(2.92) and those of the dietitians(2.92). Among the factors influencing job satisfaction, dietitians(2.10) perceived that cooks(1.99) were more satisfied with their salaries than was actually the case. The cooks(3.19) rated their level of work satisfaction higher than the dietitians(3.03) perceived it to be. Employees rated their relationship satisfaction as 3.50, but dietitians on the other hand rated it 3.37. Most of the cook respondents want a higher salary and a some kind of employment guarantee. This study provides foodservice managers information useful for design positions that will increase productivity. Future study is needed to determine the factors that will improve job satisfaction and satisfy the employees' needs, which in turn will improve school food service quality.

口眼와斜에 대한 臨床的 考察 (A clinical study on facial paralysis.)

  • Clinical study on the 114 facial paralysis patients, visited Won Kwang University Oriental Medical Hospital in Kwang ju from July 1990 to Jun 1991, was carried out. The results obtained are as follows. 1. Prevalence was almost same in both sexes and high in the age of 3 and 4 decades but distributed in an age group. 2. Majority of the patients were nomotensive, which meant blood pressure did not affect the incidence. 3. The incidence distributed in every occupations but high in housewife as 37 cases ($32\%$) and decreased gradually in office employee, labor worker, student and merchant in order. 4. Overwork, wind and cold, emotional stress, and numerous implicated agents were etiological factor. 5. The paralysis mostly occured in summer and winter as 40($35\%$) and 37 cases($32\%$) respectively, 18($16\%$) and 19cases($17\%$) were recorded respectively in spring and autumn. 6. The majority of patients showed only facial muscle paralysis without other complications, whose cure rate was $60\%$ (47 cases). The patients with auditory impairment or taste loss was less common and cure rate was low. 7. The number of the patients with migraine or mastoid pain was 81($71\%$), which was more than 33 patients($29\%$) with such pain. The cure rate was high in the patients without migraine than with migraine as a raito of 64 to $46\%$. 8. Most of duration from attack to admission were in a week as 86 cases($75\%$) and the patients with duration over 4 weeks 11 cases($10\%$). The cure rate of the patients in a week, was 54 cases($60\%$) and the patients over 4 weeks was none($0\%$), which meant shorter the duration was, the beter the result was. 9. Response on electro acupuncture on initiating therapy showed good in 39 cases($34\%$) the majority group, moderate in 37 cases, exellent in 29 cases and poor in 5 cases. 10. The results of treatment were as follows : asymptomatic in 58 cases($51\%$), improved n 40cases($35\%$), effective in 10 cases($9\%$) and ineffective in 6 cases($5\%$). 11. Cure rate according to the response on electro acupuncture showed $72\%$ in exellent group, $59\%$ in good group, $27\%$ in moderate groop, and $0\%$ in poor group. These show the better the response on the electro-acupuncture is, the higher the cure rate is, which will be able to indicate the prognosis of facial paralysis.

부황, 뜸, 침 레이저요법 시술이 耳鳴에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Tinnitus after Bleeding, Acupuncture, Moxa, and Laser treatment)

  • Although tinnitus is a common disease, it's reason, pathogenesis and treatment are not examined clearly. As tinnitus is a subjective complaint, it is not easy to evaluate objectively and to compare with another. In this study, we intend to estimate the effect of a variety of oriental medical treatments to tinnitus. We inquired about 30cases of tinnitus patients visited the Kwang-ju Oriental Medical Hospital of Wonkwang University from Apr. 1998 to Sep. 1998. We examined the 30cases in the view of sex, age, occupation, duration, etiologic factors, past history, associating symptoms, quality of tinnitus, and recovery rate after treatments. The results were as follows: 1. In distribution of sex, the ratio of male was $63.3\%$(19cases)and\;female\;was\;36.6\%$(11cases). 2. In distribution of age, the ratio of the 2th decade was $6.6\%(2cases),\;the\;3th\;decade\;was\;20.0\%(6cases),\;the\;4th\;decade\;was\;16.6\%(5cases),\;the\;5th\;decade\;was\;23.3\%(7cases),\;the\;6th\;decade\;was\;30.0\%\;(9cases),and\;the\;7th\;decade\;was\;3.3\%(1case)$. 3. In distribution of occupation, the ratio of employee was $23.3\%$(7cases), house-keeper was $63.3\%(11cases),\;farmer\;was\;16.6\%(5cases),\;teacher\;was\;13.3\%$ (4cases), and student, merchant, soldier was each $3.3\%$(1case). 4. In distribution of duration, the ratio of under 1month was $6.6\%$ (2cases), 1 month -6 months was $20.0\%$(6cases), 6 months- 12months was $30.0\%$(9cases), 12months-36months was $23.3\%$(7cases), and over 36months was $20.0\%$(6cases). 5. In etiologic factor of tinnitus, the ratio of unknown reason was $40.0\%$ (12cases), overwork was $16.6\%$(5cases), emotional stress was $10.0\%$(3cases), noise was $6.6\%$(2cases), cases of laying overwork upon stress was $13.3\%$(4cases), head trauma was $3.3\%$(1case), gun report was $3.3\%$ (1case), and after sickness was $6.6\%$(2cases). 6. 9 cases had experienced such a disease as meniere's disease, tympanitis, labyrinthitis, trauma of tympanum, hypertension, etc. 7. Commonly associated symptoms were dizziness, deafness, uneasiness, headache, ear fullness, fatigue, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, and forgetfulness. 8. Most frequent quality of tinnitus were buzzing, whistling, humming etc. 9. In $76.6\%$(23cases) of tinnitus patients, it was improved, but in $23.3%$(7cases) of them, not improved. Total recovery rate was $42.2\%$.

서울.경기 소재 대학도서관의 장애학생 지원 실태 조사 (A Study on Supportive State for Disabled Students of University Libraries in Seoul and Kyonggi)

  • 이 연구에서는 대학도서관의 장애학생 지원 실태를 조사하였다. 서울 경기 지역에 소재한 사립대학들 중에서 2008년도 특수교육대상자 특별전형을 시행한 30개 대학의 도서관을 대상으로, 그 대학의 장애학생들은 도서관을 어느 정도 이용하는지, 장애학생을 위한 시설 및 기자재, 자료, 그리고 전담 직원이 현재 적절하게 운영되고 있는지, 그리고 실제로 설치 유무를 조사하였다. 조사 결과, 대학도서관에 장애 학생을 위한 전반적인 운영 수준은 "보통" 이하(평균2.38)로 조사되었으며, 이용률은 "별로 이용하지 않는다"(60.0%)로 응답한 대학이 가장 많았다. 대학도서관의 시설 및 서비스 등의 응답률에서는 "매우 미흡"을 응답한 대학이 99건(32.27%)으로 가장 많았고, "매우 우수"를 응답한 대학이 28건(7.0%)으로 가장 적은 응답수를 나타냈다. 한편, 부문별로 분석했을 때, 건물의 시설은 모든 항목에서 "보통" 이상(평균3.26)의 수준을 갖추고 있으나, 자료구비수준(평균1.8점)과 장애 학생에 대한 원활한 지원을 위한 직원교육과 장애 학생들을 대상으로 한 도서관 이용교육(평균1.87)은 "미흡" 이하의 수준이었다. 특히, 서비스 부문은 "미흡"(평균2.48)의 수준으로, 표준편차는 1.4이상으로 인력배치와 자료배달 서비스는 대학 간의 편차가 가장 큰 부문이었다. 따라서, 대학도서관은 시설 등의 접근성은 상당 수준 개선되었으나, 자료, 인력 및 이용교육과 같은 도서관 고유의 정책은 일반적으로 미흡한 수준에 있다고 조사되었다.

도시철도역 출입구 유출입 이용자 추정 모형 수립 (Establishment Model of Entrance and Exit User of Urban Railway Station)

  • 도시철도역사 이용자는 철도역 주변의 토지이용계획에 많은 영향을 받으나, 우리나라는 이와 관련된 연구는 미진한 상태로 토지이용계획에 상관없이 일률적으로 출입구 너비를 산정하여 일부 출입구에서는 대기행렬이 발생 하거나 이용자가 거의 없는 등 편차를 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시철도역 출입구별 이용수요 추정 모형을 정립하고자 하며, 이를 위해 도시철도역 20개소를 대상으로 출입구별 이용수요, 토지이용면적, 사회경제지표 등을 철도역 중심으로 200 m, 500 m로 조사하여 다중회귀모형을 정립하였다. 모형의 종속변수(반응변수)를 1일, 첨두 1시간, 첨두 시간대 5분 동안의 철도역 방향별 유출입 이용수요로 설정하고, 철도역 반경 500 m, 200 m 범위의 토지용도(주거, 상업 업무, 공업, 교육, 공원) 면적과 사회경제지표(인구, 고용자, 종사자, 학생)를 독립변수(설명변수)로 설정하였다. 그 결과 도시철도 중심 반경 500 m 내 토지용도별 이용면적을 독립변수, 철도역 1일 유출입 이용수요를 종속변수로 사용하는 것이 모형의 적합도가 통계적으로 더 유의한 것으로 분석 되었다. 본 연구는 도시철도역의 이용자 및 교통약자의 이동 편의성 개선을 위해 도시철도 출입구 적정 규모 산정을 위한 기초 연구로 추후 교통약자 이용자 수를 반영하여 출입구별 이용자 수 추정, 교통약자 편의시설 적정 규모 산정 시 활용 가능할 것으로 보인다.

한 농촌지역 학교보건의 현황과 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Present Condition and Reform Plan of School Health in a Rural Area)

  • This research has incorporated a postal survey from the principals, nurse-charging teachers and nurse-teachers of the fiftyfive elementary, middle and high school in Yang-pyeong county area where its supplementary rate of nurse-teachers is less than adequate. It is to analyse the current status of the school health service in the area and to come out with a plan to improve the school health program through the participations of the health related experts of the local community. The survey was done in the two months of period of April to May of 1994. The result of the survey follows. The student population in the Yang-pyeong county area is 13,998 and the school employee population is 904 which counts for about 19.2% of the whole population of the area. However, the supplementary rate of nurse-teachers is only 10.8% (4 in 55 schools) which is very low in terms of relativity. School health committee only exist in 17% of the whole number of schools in the area and 50 of school health committee answered that their activity do not meet the adequate level. Only 54. 3% of the whole school numbers has included the school health finance in their financial plans and the amount set for the school health finance is about 500,000 wons (100,000-1,600,000 wons). 64.9% of the schools in the Yang-pyeong county area have the permanent nursing room established in the school. But, often than the equipment for a simple physical examinations, their supply of the health related equipments are less than adequate. Particitations of school doctor in the school health service is at only 67.6% which pretty much include only the physical examinations. Nurse-charging teachers consider their utmost important role is to teach health education but, they answered that they spent most of their times and efforts on physical examinations & immunizations. The average number of students visition to the nursing room is 2.5 persons and complains for basic discomfort as headache, concussion, stomachache and indigestion problems and usual pills used are the analgesics and digestives. Physical examination is done in the most schools every year but, 51.4% of nurse-charging teachers answered the physical examination does not really help. About the emergency treatment ability, 75.7% reports that both manpower & equipment are short. The school food services are present in only 8 schools (21.6%) but, 89.2% of nurse-charging teachers answer that there is a definite need of the food service. The survey says that the utmost important environmental health and safety factors are the traffic accidents followed by improper heat system, lighting, the stools and desks that do not consider the student physical status The overall evaluation of school health program reports that there are adequate physical examination, immunization, environmental hygiene, and management of safety but, on the other hand, health education, health councelling & management of nursing room are not managed properly. The principals of the survey pool report shortage of public agency support, lack of understanding of school health, shortage of nursing equipments and school health finance as the barrier factors of school health. The nurse-charging teachers report on the same questions as their less than qualitifying expertise, extraload of work upon the nursing affairs, shortage of nursing equipments & school health finance. The head masters & nurse-charging teachers answered that they are desperate for the meetings of nurse-charging teachers, construction of school health councelling system & training education in order to improve school health and if these are available, they will actively participate in them. After the careful analysis of the survey result, it is apparent that through the relations of the manpowers, establishment of community-oriented school health is definitely in need in rural area where there is low supplementary rate of nurse-teachers and poor school health environment.

국가중요시설 경비원의 직무여건과 직무만족도의 관계 (The relationship of the office given condition of the country important facility private security and job satisfaction degree)

  • 본 연구는 국가중요시설 경비원의 직무여건 실태와 직무만족도의 관계를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 국가중요시설 경비원들의 실상을 직접적으로 파악 분석하고자 통상적인 측정도구인 설문지를 활용하여 부산과 울산지역의 국가중요시설인 공항 및 항만지역과 일반사업장에 근무 중인 경비원을 대상으로 하였다. 시설주 및 경비업체 담당자에게 충분한 설문취지를 설명하고 문항을 사전 검토하였고 총400부를 배포하였으며 이중 논제의도와 부적합한 설문지를 제외한 331부(82.8%)를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 데이터코딩과 클리닝과정을 거쳐 SPSS version 15.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, t-test, 일원변량분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 국가중요시설에 대한 경비원의 직무여건 실태와 직무만족도의 관계를 대인관계, 직무특성, 직무환경, 보수 요인으로 구분하고 일반적인 특성에 따른 직무만족도의 차이를 검증하였다. 이상의 연구방법을 통하여 얻은 결론을 보면 일반적인 경향은 저임금과 열악한 현장 환경은 지속되고 있었다. 일반적인 특성에서 남자가 여자보다 직무만족 수준이 높았고, 연령은 많고 학력은 낮을수록 높았으며, 경력과 소득이 많을수록, 시설보안요원보다 청원경찰이나 검색 및 안내요원이 높았고 입사 전 학생인 경우가 가장 낮게 회사원과 기타 직업군이 비교적 높은 직무만족도를 보였다. 상관관계 분석결과 직무만족이 높을수록 이직의사는 낮아지고 조직몰입도는 증가했다. 회귀분석결과 직무만족도가 이직의사와 조직몰입에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 직무특성과 직무환경 수준이 낮을수록 이직의사에 영향을 미쳤고, 직무특성에 대한 만족도와 대인관계, 보수, 직무환경 수준이 높을수록 조직몰입에 영향을 미쳤다. 금번의 연구결과를 종합하면 국가중요시설 경비인력 현장에서의 직무여건 개선노력, 청원경찰과 특수경비원간, 조직 내 상하 간의 대인관계 정립, 실질적인 보수 현실화를 포함한 정책적인 제도의 뒷받침이 절실하다.

기무라씨 질환, 5 예 보고 (REPORT OF EXPERIENCE WITH KIMURA'S DISEASE)

  • 기무라씨 질환은 특히 두경부 부위에 피하 종괴를 일으키는 만성염증성, 증식성 질환이다. 저자들은 최근 치험하였던 본 질환 5 예를 한국외과 문헌에 처음으로 보고하는 바이다. 기무라씨 질환은 크게는 ALHE(Angiolymphoide Hyperplasia with Eosinophilia) 의 범주에 속한다. 본 질환의 병리학적 특징은 증식된 lymphoid follicles, eosinophilic infiltration 과 혈관의 증식성이다. 이 질환은 이하선, 악하선 및 상부 경부 부위등에 흔히 종괴를 일으키며 이들 종괴들은 피하조직 뿐만 아니라 타액선과 상부 경부 임파선에까지도 파고 든다. 저자들의 증례 중 한명에서는 서혜부에 종괴가 있었으며 새로이 증식된 혈관과 동상들 (Sinusoids) 로 인하여 혈관 분포가 매우 풍부하였다. 저자들 증례 5 명의 평균 연령은 35세이었지만 한명을 제외한 나머지 모두는 38세 이하이었다. 남녀비는 3:2 이었으며 증상의 평균 기간은 5.2 년이었다. 전례에 있어서 말초 혈액 소견상 Eosinophilia 가 있었다. 전례에서 다발성 종괴들을 보였으며 가끔은 대칭적이기도 하였다. 저자들이 시행한 치료 양상은 수술만 시행한 경우와 수술 및 스테로이드 홀몬요법 시행 경우가 각각 1례씩이었고 수술과 방사선조사 경우가 2례이었으며 나머지 1례에서는 수술, 스테로이드 홀몬요법 및 방사선조사의 복합치료를 실시하였다. 저자들은 기무라씨 질환과 ALHE 질환과의 관계를 고찰해 보았으며 기무라씨 질환의 치료 경험을 보고하는 바이다.
