  • The vehicle's light-weight technology is divided into optimization of structure geometric and material. Structure geometric optimization and improvement of materials has examined to be power-train and maintenance on the severe condition. The core technology of Special vehicle's light-weight is constitute by Drop box, Axle and Final reduction gear. Technology and product of the parts is high to overseas and import dependency. We will want to examine the possibility of light-weight for the Axle Case and Drop box-connections. In this research, conventional design of excess weight will inhibit the mobility and fuel efficiency. Through the improvement of Axle material, we saw the possibility reducing weight. If you use the results of these studies, it will be available to domestic production technology and reducing weight of RV car, Dump truck, Track crain, etc.

  • In this thesis the legal systems related to real estate and sea area utilization are studied in order to improve them for construction of Very Large Floating Structure. Main research subjects are as follows: 1) Whether can Very Large Floating Structure be accepted or not as real estate like house and land\ulcorner 2) How can the sea area which is occupied by Very Large Floating Structure be utilized\ulcorner As the conclusion, the Very Large Floating Structure can be registered as real estate even though it is not specified by Korean law for the present. The design concept of Very Large Floating Structure can be interpreted as satisfying enough necessary conditions and factors for Very Large Floating Structure to become real estate. In the near future, we have to make improvement on the laws related with the construction of Very Large Floating Structures so that private sectors can joint the construction. In additions, a new law for various floating structures should be made as soon as possible.

  • A gate-recessed structure is introduced to SOI MOSFET's in order to increase the source-to-drain breakdown voltage. A significant increase in the breakdown voltage is observed compared with that of a planar single source/drain SOI MOSFET without inducing the appreciable reduction of the current drivability. We have analyzed the origin of the breakdown voltage improvement by the substrate current measurements and 2-D device simulations, and shown that the breakdown voltage improvement is caused by the reductions in the impact ionization rate and the parasitic bipolar current gain.

  • This paper was tried to show the improvement model for software industry structure in Korea regarding to have the global level of competence in Korean software firms. To suggest the improvement model for software industry structure, the detailed status about software industry which as in the supply and demand perspectives and comparativeness dimension were analysed. Also to this model the special survey results from the 35 professionalists in the software industry were included. This improvement model suggests the big software firms have to consider the economy of the scale, and to enter global IT market, the other SMEs have to pursuit themselves as a specified technology firms. So it is good for the oversea project collaboration with the solution provider firms and IT service firms. And it is desirable to make a the economy of scale regarding as the solution venture startup, M&A, networking the software firms as supply chain. Also the development of new business model for new market and firms with the high-tech business competency will be required.

  • We propose modified fence electrode structure for manufacturing of ITO-electrode-free PDP. Luminance, luminance efficiency and addressing time for the proposed structure shows performance improvement about 25 percent. Our results can be used for the reduction of manufacturing cost without degradation of PDP performance.

  • Purpose: Analyze the results of on-site inspection of the tunnel structure maintenance management monitoring and suggest improvement plans. Method: We investigate and analyze the problems of various items on maintenance monitoring of tunnel structure of 14 subway lines of Seoul subway in downtown area. Result: The maintenance monitoring items, measurement quantity and installation location are classified into open tunnel and excavation tunnel and improvement plans are suggested respectively. Various durability criteria of the measuring instruments were examined, and durability confirmation method suggested improvement measures such as approval, inspection, inspection and testing, calibration of monitoring sensors. Conclusion: Applying the improvement measures of the tunnel structure maintenance monitoring to the construction site will increase the efficiency of the maintenance monitoring and contribute to the development of construction monitoring technology.

  • Purpose - This study aims to improve the distribution structure of the OLED market and develop cost-effective optimization techniques. Specifically, it is a study on the optimization of ferric chloride to improve the etch of SUS MASK for OLED. Research design, data, and methodology - Applying the optimal conditions of the experiment, the final confirmation was evaluated for improvement by the Process Capability Index (Cpk). It is possible to derive social performance such as improvement of precision of SUS MASK manufacturing, economic performance such as defect rate, reduction of waste generation and treatment cost, technological achievement such as SUS MASK production technology, improvement of profit structure of technology development and process improvement do. Results - The improvement of the Cpk before the improvement was made was confirmed to be 0.57% with a defect estimate of 25.07% with a failure estimate of 0.57% after the improvement, and 8.84% with a failure estimate of 0.57% level after the improvement. Conclusions - If the conclusions obtained from the specimen experiment are applied to the manufacturing process of SUS MASK, it will be possible to expect excellent cost-effective competitiveness due to the improvement of precision and reduction of defect rate to enhance the OLED market penetration.

A Performance Improvement of Linux TCP Networking by Data Structure Reuse (자료 구조 재사용을 이용한 리눅스 TCP 네트워킹 성능 개선)

  • As Internet traffic increases recently, much effort has been put on improving the performance of a web server. In addition to hardware side solutions such as replacement by high-end hardware or expansion of the number of servers, there are software side solutions to improve performance. Recent studies on these software side solutions have been actively performed. In this paper, we identify performance degradation problems occurring in a conventional TCP networking reception process and propose a way to solve them. We improve performance by combining three kinds of existing methods for Linux Networking Performance Improvement and two kinds of newly proposed methods in this paper. The three existing methods include 1) an allocation method of a packet flow to a core in a multi-core environment, 2) ITR(Interrupt Throttle Rate) method to control excessive interrupt requests, and 3) sk_buff data structure recycling. The two newly proposed methods are fd data structure recycling and epoll_event data structure recycling. Through experiments in a web server environment, we verify the effect of our two proposed methods and its combination with the three existing methods for performance improvement, respectively. We use three kinds of web servers: a simple web server, Lighttpd generally used in Linux, and Apache. In a simple web server environment, fd data structure recycling and epoll_event data structure recycling bring out performance improvement by about 7 % and 6%, respectively. If they are combined with the three existing methods, performance is improved by up to 40% in total. In a Lighttpd and an Apache web server environment, the combination of five methods brings out performance improvement by up to 36% and 20% in total, respectively.

  • In this paper the following conclusions were obtained after examining and analyzing data through the various experiments by adopting automobile's piston as the experimental materials among the automobile materials which are being commercialized. The various experiments have been carried out with the object of presenting the selection of rational. economic materials and criterion according to the improvement of machining characteristics by grasping the strength and weakness of existing various materials and using the effects of metallic structure variables as well as satisfying the required conditions.

  • In this paper, structural analysis was conducted by designing a ultra low volume sprinkler applied to spray liquid and applying a ANSYS commercial code for three dimensional finite element method to the ultra low volume sprinkler. Based on this numerical structural analysis, stress, strain and total deformation were obtained and the structure improvement of the ultra low volume sprinkler was made along with improved productivity and shorten design period.
