경량화용 사이드부재의 적층구성 및 단면형상 변화에 따른 에너지흡수 특성 (Energy Absorption Characteristics of Side Member for Light-weight Having Various Stacking Condition and Shape of Section)

  • Front-side members of automobile, such as the hat shaped section members, are structures with the greatest energy absorbing capability in a front-end collision of vehicle. This paper was performed to analyze energy absorption characteristics of the hat shaped section members, which are basic shape of side member. The hat shaped section members consisted of the spot welded side member which was utilized to an actual vehicle and CFRP side member for lightweight of vehicle structural member. The members were tested under static axial loading by universal testing machine. Currently, stacking condition related to the collapse characteristics of composite materials is being considered as an issue fer the structural efficiency and safety of automobiles, aerospace vehicles, trains, ships even elevators during collision. So, energy absorption characteristics were analyzed according to stacking condition and shape of section and compared the results of spot welded side member with those of CFRP side member.

수동형 댐퍼를 장착한 구조물의 동적응답기반 신뢰성 해석 - 제1편: 부재별 파괴확률 산정 (Dynamic Response based Reliability Analysis of Structure with Passive Damper - Part 1: Assessment of Member Failure Probability)

  • This study proposes a dynamic reliability analysis of control system as a method of quantitative evaluation of its performance in probabilistic terms. In this dynamic reliability analysis, the failure event is defined as an event that the dynamic response of the structural system exceeds a displacement limit, whereas the conventional reliability analysis method has limitations that do not properly assess the actual time history response of the structure subjected to dynamic loads, such as earthquakes and high winds, by taking the static response into account in the failure event. In this first paper, we discuss the control effect of the viscous damper on the seismic performance of the member-level failure where the failure event of the structural member consists of the union set of time-sequential member failures during the earthquake excitations and the failure probability of the earthquake-excited structural member is computed using system reliability approach to consider the statistical dependence of member failures between the subsequent time points. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed approach can present a reliable assessment of the control performance of the viscous damper system in comparison with MCS method. The most important advantage of the proposed approach can provide us more accurate estimate of failure probability of the structural control system by using the actual time-history responses obtained by dynamic response analysis.

측정 변위를 이용한 변형률 해석 (Strain Analysis by Measured Displacement Data)

  • 교량의 안전성과 사용성을 검토하기 위해서는 외적 하중에 대한 구조 부재의 거동 특성과 정확한 저항 능력 평가가 반드시 고려 되어야 한다. 구조 부재의 거동 특성과 저항능력을 평가하기 위해서는 구조물의 변형률과 변위가 반드시 측정 되어야 한다. 변형률 측정을 위해서 전기 저항식 변형률 게이지를 사용하는 것이 보통이다. 그러나 교량의 교각이 높고, 장지간을 갖는 경우 변형률 게이지 부착은 매우 어렵고 경제적이지 못하다. 또한 구조 부재에 균열이 많이 발생되어 있거나 습윤 상태라면 전기 저항식 변형률 게이지에 의한 변형률 계측은 추천할만한 방법이 못된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 보완 할수 있도록 측정 변위를 이용한 변형률 해석 알고리즘을 제안 하였다.

  • This Paper presents the response force distribution factor(RDF) and its application to recalculation of member forces in case of partial changes of structures. Using RDF, the mutuality of response forces between members can be estimated. The reanalysis technique recalculates directly any displacement or member force under consideration in real time without a full reanalysis in spite of local changes in member stiffness or connectivity using RDF. It is expected that RDF and the reanalysis technique can be used to develop efficient analysis techniques for tall buildings.

  • 목조 고건축물의 안전성 평가를 위해서는 먼저 부재의 성능평가가 선행되어야 한다. 지금까지의 목재 부재의 성능평가는 육안에 의한 경험적 방법에 의존하였다. 하지만 과학적이고 합리적인 비파괴 방법을 적용하여 구조부재의 성능을 평가할 수 있다면 구조물의 안전성 해석은 더욱 정확해지고 합리적이 될 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 목조 고건축물의 여러 구조 부재 중 기둥에 대해 비파괴 평가법을 적용하여 구조부재의 성능 평가에 대한 가능성을 알아보았다. 이 결과를 이어지는 연구에서 구조물의 안전성 해석의 기초자료로 사용할 예정이다. 특별히 기둥의 노출 환경에 따른 열화의 진행정도를 비파괴 평가법으로 측정하였다. 그 결과 실제 육안에 의한 열화의 관찰과 유사한 결과를 나타내어 비파괴 방법의 적용 가능성을 보여주었다.

구조부재 인식을 위한 인공지능 학습데이터 생성방법 연구 (A Study on Artificial Intelligence Learning Data Generation Method for Structural Member Recognition)

  • With the development of digital technology, construction companies at home and abroad are in the process of computerizing work and site information for the purpose of improving work efficiency. To this end, various technologies such as BIM, digital twin, and AI-based safety management have been developed, but the accuracy and completeness of the related technologies are insufficient to be applied to the field. In this paper, the learning data that has undergone a pre-processing process optimized for recognition of construction information based on structural members is trained on an existing artificial intelligence model to improve recognition accuracy and evaluate its effectiveness. The artificial intelligence model optimized for the structural member created through this study will be used as a base technology for the technology that needs to confirm the safety of the structure in the future.

강사장교 비선형거동과 하모니 서치 알고리즘에 기반한 사장교 구성 단면 결정 (Determination of Structural Member Section based on Nonlinear Behaviors of Steel Cable-Stayed Bridges and Harmony Search Algorithm )

  • 본 연구에서는 강사장교의 비선형 거동과 하모니 서치 알고리즘에 기반한 사장교 부재 단면 결정 방법을 제시하였다. 하모니 서치 알고리즘은 초기값 설정, 하모니 메모리 초기화, 새로운 하모니 메모리 구성 및 하모니 메모리 업데이트의 과정을 반복하여 최적값을 탐색함으로써 사장교 부재 단면을 결정한다. 하모니 서치 알고리즘으로 선정된 주요 부재 단면으로 3차원 강사장교의 비선형 초기형상해석을 수행하였으며, 초기장력과 형상을 고려하여 복잡한 거동특성과 각 부재의 비선형성을 반영한 사장교 주요 부재인 주탑, 보강거더, 가로보 및 케이블의 최적 단면을 결정하였다. 사장교 주요 부재의 단면 결정을 위한 목적함수로는 전체 중량을 사용하였으며, 제약조건으로 한계상태설계법을 바탕으로 하중저항능력과 사용성에 대한 제약조건식 및 보강거더와 가로보 단면의 폭과 높이의 비율을 추가적인 제약조건으로 고려하고, 주탑, 보강거더 및 가로보의 기하 및 재료 비선형성과 케이블 부재의 비선형성에 따라 부재 단면을 결정할 수 있도록 하였다. 최적 단면 결정 결과, 제안한 해석 방법은 사장교의 다양한 설치조건에 따라 최적 단면을 결정할 수 있으며, 비선형성을 고려한 사장교 부재 단면제원을 하모니 서치 기법을 통하여 결정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The design process of pre-cast concrete member needs various design parameters and the engineer's experiences. The introduction of knowledge-based system in the design of pre-cast concrete member enables us to design complicated members using the designer's heuristics. The objectives of this research are to study useful methodology for representing knowledge and data in the development of knowledge-based system and to show the application of methodology by developing a prototype sysytem for design of pre-cast concrete member. This paper nrst describes methodology for building knowledge-based system. It then presents knowledge-based system for pre-cast concerete member design.

  • There are two methods commonly used in design of splice plate connection of frame structure. The one is Design by Actual Stress which can sufficiently transfer actual force to an adjacent member using rows of bolts. The other is Design by Member Strength which is able to transfer total allowable stress of effective section area to a connected member. In real design, as a matter of convenience, Standard Connection Drawings have used according to Design by Member Strength. But this method underestimate connection force in shear connection where large connection moment occured. In this study, these Design methods are compared by connection moment in shear connections. and the adequate use of them are recommended. Also In order to evaluate more accurately the actual stress of splice plate of flange on moment. connection, a new calculation method of it is recommended.

  • The attaching method of different types of structure and explanation of stress transfer mechanism are at important issue as beam having definitive factor such as the anchorage of RC main bar, the stress transfer of anchorage-end S member, RC member-anchorage, anchorage-end S member in the composite beam of S and RC member. In this study, the structural properties of composite beam according to attaching method of main bar about end RC-middle S beam were investigated in order to use them as fundamental data for the development of composite structure member. Throughout a series of study, it was shown that the proof stress of main bar - flange welding specimen is the highest and there is no difference between the deformation-properties according to attaching method of main bar.
