This paper deals with the analysis of the natural frequencies, mode shapes of an axially loaded beam system carrying ends consisting of non-concentrated tip masses and three spring-two mass sub-systems. The influence of system design and sub-system parameters on the combined system characteristics is the major part of this investigation. The effect of material properties, rotary inertia and shear deformation of the beam system is included. The end masses are elastically supported against rotation and translation at an offset point from the point of attachment. Sub-systems are attached to center of gravity eccentric points out of the beam span. The boundary conditions of the ordinary differential equation governing the lateral deflections and slope due to bending of the beam system including developed shear force frequency dependent terms, due to the sub.system suspension, have been formulated. Exact formulae for the modal frequencies and the modal shapes have been derived. Based on these formulae, detailed parametric studies are carried out. The geometrical and mechanical parameters of the system under study have been presented in non-dimensional analysis. The applied mathematical model is presented to cover wide range of mechanical, naval and structural engineering applications.

This study aims to investigate the determinants of turnover intention among company managers in Indonesia. Based on the literature, this research hypothesizes that job satisfaction is a mediator in the relationship between compensation, career and turnover intention of companies in Indonesia. Respondents as research samples are grouped into middle managers from two industries, namely, manufacturing and services. A total of 215 questionnaires were returned from middle managers. Data analysis used Structural Equation Model - Linear Structural Relationship (SEM LISREL). The research results prove that compensation and career have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Compensation, career, and job satisfaction have a negative impact on turnover intention. Compensation is known to be one of the motivating drivers of workers around the world. From this study it can be said that, if middle manager teachers are well compensated, they will be encouraged, persuaded and will have positive feelings toward their work, and this will result in staying put. It works also with career and job satisfaction. If both variables are considered carefully, intention to move tends to be low. These findings provide new insights into the field of international human resources in developing multinational companies and service businesses.

This research examines the mediation of intrinsic motivation (IP) in the relationship between psychological capital (Psycap) and innovative performance (IP) in the educational environment of the transitioning economy. A test was based on a convenient sample of 440 University lecturers participating in a hardcopy survey was collected from ten universities and colleges in Southern Vietnam, from April 2020 to December 2020, while social isolation is strictly enforced by the government (Covid-19). The hypotheses are then proposed and conducted using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and the structural equation modeling technique (SEM). The testing structural model results reveal that all the hypotheses are satisfied at the 5% significance level. Intrinsic motivation is a partial mediator in the linkage between psychological capital and innovative performance. These findings suggest that the importance of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) of workers promotes job performance in general, especially in individuals' creativity in a transitioning market, Vietnam. In addition, Based on the research results, several solutions are also proposed to promote innovative performance in the conditions of education in Vietnam. Besides, the author also gave a few comments on the findings as well as the limitations that this study encountered, especially how the survey samples were collected.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among mothers' reflective function, preschoolers' empathy, executive function, caring behaviors. Subjects for this study were 498 preschoolers and their mothers. Mothers' reflective function was assessed by the Parental Reflective Functioning Questionnaire(PRFQ). Preschoolers' empathy was assessed by the Questionnaire of Cognitive and Affective Empathy(QCAE). Preschoolers' executive function was assessed by the Behavioral Rating Inventory of Executive Functions-Preschool Version(BRIEF-P), and caring behaviors were assessed by the caring behaviors scale(Kim, 2015). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis(CFA), and structural equation model(SEM) with the SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 program. The major results of this study were as follows. First, mothers' reflective function showed direct effects on preschoolers' empathy, executive function, and caring behaviors. Second, the preschoolers' empathy and executive function showed direct effects on preschoolers' caring behaviors. Third, preschoolers' empathy mediated the effects of mothers' reflective function on preschoolers' caring behaviors. The findings of this study will contribute to designing intervention programs to improve preschoolers' empathy, executive function, and caring behaviors.

Headed bars are often used when there is insufficient space for a straight or curved bar to be fully developed to ensure the transference of forces between steel and concrete in several types of connections between structural members. In such cases, the concrete breakout strength of the headed bars can be a critical point of the design and must be considered appropriately. This paper evaluates the tensile strength of headed bars embedded in reinforced concrete members, failing due to concrete breakout. Four experimental tests on headed bars embedded in slender concrete members are presented and discussed, showing that strength previsions from the design codes can be significantly conservative as they ignore the contribution from the flexural reinforcement. 3D finite element models were developed using Abaqus Unified FEA to simulate the tested specimens, and it was observed that they were able to reproduce the formation of the concrete cone accurately, besides the response and resistance observed in tests. Furthermore, the experimental, numerical, and design code resistances are compared and discussed. A new equation to evaluate the concrete cone strength of the tested headed bars is proposed, which takes into account parameters not explicitly considered in the current design equations.

This study investigates the effects of O2O-based mobile shopping application (O2O MSA)'s information and service quality on the user's perceived privacy protection, satisfaction and loyalty. In this study, 969 questionnaire reponses were collected, out of which 555 were used to estimate the structural paths using PLS-SEM (partial least square structural equation model) for the hypothesis test. Our empirical findings are drawn from Chinese respondents that live in a 1-line city in China and use O2O MSAs serviced by China's leading companies. This study examines and confirms that qualified information and service of O2O MSA positively affect both perceived privacy protection and customer satisfaction, which finally leads to customer behavioral loyalty through the perceived privacy protection. Further, this study presents effective practical implications for application development strategy suitable for users in the O2O-based mobile shopping industry.

Purpose: This study aims to enhance airport service quality by examining their impact on brand image, advocacy, and mediating brand trust in the aviation service distribution sector. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Using existing literature, we propose a structural model exploring the relationships between key components which are service quality, brand trust, brand Image and brand advocacy. An online survey, based on prior literature, was administered to 287 Koreans who have experienced using facilities or services at Incheon International Airport (IIA). Statistical analysis employed confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM). Results: Research findings show significant impacts of airport service quality on brand trust. Increased brand trust positively influences airport brand image and advocacy. Conclusion: The study emphasizes the aviation industry's potential to boost brand trust through improved airport service quality via users' interactions. Service quality is critical factors in building brand trust. The findings emphasize the critical role of service quality in fostering brand trust. It underscores the importance of user's satisfaction with service quality in fostering brand trust which can lead to brand image and brand advocacy. The aviation industry should formulate policies and strategies to enhance brand trust improved service quality, thereby improving brand image and brand advocacy.

본 연구는 1990년대 이후 정보화 과정에 이어 2010년대 들어 스마트폰의 확산으로 스마트화가 급속히 전개되는 가운데 특히 2000년대 이후 신속히 진행 중인 고령화로 인하여 심각해지고 있는 만 65세이상 노년층의 스마트 정보격차의 요인을 분석하고 이에 대한 해소방안을 모색하고자 추진되었다. 기존 연구에서 노년층의 스마트폰에 대한 자기효능감, 교육, 접근성, 유희성, 비용 합리성, 정책적 지원 등 6개 요인을 도출하고 정보기술수용모델(TAM)을 토대로 연구모델을 정립한 후, 전국의 14개 노인종합복지관을 통하여 총 243명에게 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 구조방정식모델(SEM) 분석을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 스마트폰에 대한 정책적 지원, 유희성, 자기효능감, 접근성, 비용 합리성, 그리고 교육 요인의 순서로 중요성이 우선시된 본 연구의 결과는 향후에 노년층의 스마트 정보격차에 대한 다양한 해소방안 모색에 활용될 수 있다.

본 연구는 아동복지 종사자가 자신의 일에 대한 순수한 즐거움을 동기로 그 일을 하는지, 즉 그들의 내재적 동기가 자신의 전문분야에 대한 애착을 의미하는 경력몰입을 통해 이직의도에 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 아동보호전문기관, 가정위탁지원센터, 아동양육시설 종사자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 구조방정식분석방법을 통해 353명의 아동복지 종사자의 내재적 동기, 경력만족 및 이직의도 간의 인과관계를 검증하였다. 먼저, 잠재변인이 적절한 측정변인으로 구성되었는지 측정분석을 통해 확인하였으며, 구조분석을 통해 구조모형의 변인 간의 관계를 파악하였다. 분석결과, 연구가설에서 설정한 대로 내재적 동기는 경력몰입을 통해 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 내재적 동기가 이직의도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 통제변수들 중에서는 종사자의 월수입과 근무시간이 경력몰입과 이직의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 이 결과를 반영하여 모형 적합도를 높인 수정모형을 제시하였으며, 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 마지막으로 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지 실천적 함의를 제안하였다.

본 연구는 구강보건실태와 관련요인을 분석하고 관련요인의 인자구조모델을 구축하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 대상자는 2002년 1월부터 12월까지 국민건강보험공단이 실시한 지역가입자 건강검진(1차)을 받은 65세 이상 노인 9,340명이다. 대상자는 구강검진을 포함한 모든 검진을 받고 문진표를 작성한 노인들이다. 분석의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 구성개념타당성에 대한 검토체위검사, 요 검사, 혈액검사, 식 습관, 음주 흡연, 치료 예방, 구강증상, 구강건강상태 등 인자구조모델의 구성개념타당성은 적합도 지수 GFI, CFI, TLI, RMSEA를 이용하여 분석한 결과 모두 적합한 범위에 있었으므로 구성개념타당성은 인정되었다. 2. 각 요인과 구강건강상태와의 관련성을 보기 위한 구조방정식 모델을 분석한 결과 요 검사를 제외한 모든 요인이 구강건강상태에 영향을 미치고 있음이 확인되었으며 이를 설명할 종합적인 구조모델을 구축할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과, 치과 방문과 치면세마 경험이 적은 농촌지역이 도시지역에 비해 치아우식증, 치아 결손을, 의치필요자율이 높았으며, 음주 흡연이 치아우식증, 치주질환, 치아결손율에 부정적인 영향을 주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 치주질환은 전체의 3.2%에서 관찰되었으며 낮은 연령에서 많이 확인되었다. 대부분의 구강질환은 올바른 구강건강행동의 실천으로 예방 가능하므로 전국 각 지역 보건소를 중심으로 구강보건전문가에 의해 바른 식 습관과 구강건강관리에 관한 노인구강보건교육이 체계적으로 이루어져야 하며, 경제적, 지리적인 장애로 인해 치과기관을 방문하지 못하거나 치면세마, 의치장착 등의 구강 건강행위를 소홀히 하지 않도록 하기 위한 치과 의료서비스 접근도를 높히는 정책전환이 요구된다. 또한, 구강건강상태와 전신건강과의 관련성을 설명하기 위해 구조모델을 구축하기 위해서는 보다 정확한 검사방법과 효과적인 지표 개발이 선행되어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 국민건강보험공단에서 개발한 항목을 그대로 적용하였기 때문에 모델 구성에 한계점이 있었다. 향후 계속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
