There are small box opening for inserting of electric lamp box in the slab of apartment. Around this box opening, we normally use the detailing of WWF or plastic ring strengthening to protect cracks induced by shrinkage. The shrinkage amount of slab box around was measured and analysed in order to consider validity of these strengthening methods and to find out economical alternative. Alternative of strengthening methods are normally used strengthening methods in construction companies, which are WWF strengthening, plastic ring strengthening and no strengthening methods. The shrinkage amount was measured using contact guage at the spot of tip attached around the box on slab of small area unit apartment which have small exclusive area below $59m^2$. Measured data shows that there are no big differences between all the 3 strengthening methods and Measure data range is $-264{\mu}{\varepsilon}{\sim}+216{\mu}{\varepsilon}$. Measured shrinkage is on trend slightly increase till 3~5weeks after removal of forms and then decrease. But amount of shrinkage are very low for all the slabs and there are no probabilities of concrete crack by shrinkage.

The deterioration of existing bridges has become a major problem around the world. In the paper, a new model and an associated stress checking method are proposed for concrete box girders strengthened by external prestressing. The new model called the spatial grid model can analyze all the spatial behaviors clearly by transforming the box girder into discrete orthogonal grids which are equivalent to plate elements. Then the three-layer stresses are employed as the stress checking indices to evaluate the stress state of the plate elements. The initial stress check before strengthening reveals the cracked and potential cracking areas for existing bridges, making the strengthening design more targeted and scientific; the subsequent stress check after strengthening evaluates the strengthening effect and ensures safety. A deficient bridge is selected as the practical example, verifying the accuracy and applicability of the proposed model and stress checking method. The results show that principal stresses in the middle layer of plate elements reflect the main effects of external prestressing and thus are the key stress checking indices for strengthening. Moreover, principal stresses check should be conducted in all parts of the strengthened structure not only in the webs. As for the local effects of external prestressing especially in the areas near anchorage and deviator, normal stresses check in the outer and inner layers dominates and local strengthening measures should be taken if necessary.

The aim of this study is to find the reasons of success and failure of digital animations in terms of 'immersion.' For the purpose, the causes of immersion were analyzed through complex comparison about concepts and stories of two animation films with similar size of budget: 'Shrek 2' which ranked number 1 in the box-office of animation and 'Mars Needs Moms' which ranked number 172 in the same category. The complex results showed that immersion becomes bigger with creativity and popularity of the characters' outer concept, diversity and organic of the characters' inner concept, and diversity and consistency of the background. Moreover, gradual arrangement of characters' appearance in the story and increasing number of the characters, and visual changes around the plot heightening with a well-organized passage increase immersion. After all, immersion of digital animation requires developing creative, diverse, and popular concept and arranging and strengthening strategic well-organized plot of parts and the whole. This is the key to convergence it.
