잔골재 종류 및 감소제 첨가율에 따른 콘크리트의 공학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Engineering Properties of Concrete with Kind of Fine Aggregate and Addition Ratio of Water Reducing Agents)

  • Recently, trouble of sand supply is occurred according to exhaustion of natural sand resources. To solve this problem, sea sand and crushed sand are used. But, necessity of water reducing agent because quality of concrete that use sea sand and crushed sand is deteriorated. Therefore in this study was examined on the engineering properties of concrete with kind of fine aggregate and addition ratio of water reducing agents. As a result, compressive strength appeared similar standard regardless of kind of fine aggregate. Compressive strength, durability was similar in decrease of the unit water content by increase of addition ratio of the water reducing agent. Also, drying shrinkage resistivity was improved because the unit water content decreased.

  • The main objective of this study was to evaluated the physical properties of concrete with substitution ratio of recycled fine aggregate and recycled coarse aggregate made of waste concrete. The replacement ratios of recycled coarse and fine aggregate decided 0%, 30%, 40% and 50% respectively to get the deregulate of floor space Index. The test result showed that compression strength of cylinder mold decrease with the substitution ratio increase but its strength of replaced recycled fine aggregate higher than OPC.

  • Normally, with all ensuring the fire resistance structure as a method of setting the required cover thickness to fire, the RC is significantly affected from the standpoint of its structural stability that the compressive strength and elastic modulus is reduced by fire. Especially, high strength concrete and lightweight aggregate concrete is occurred serious fire performance deterioration by explosive spalling. Thus, this study is concerned with explosive spalling of lightweight concrete using structural lightweight aggregate. From the experimental test result, lightweight aggregate concrete is happened explosive spalling. The decrease of cross section caused by explosive spalling made sharp increasing gradient of inner temperature.

  • Considering properties of the low-heat concrete mixed with the blended cements, the influences compared blended cements with ordinary portland cement made experiments on. (1) Blended cements were superior to OPC in the fresh concrete flow that the use of blended cements reduced chemical admixture. (2) The more the use of additive increase, the more bleeding happens. So it is considered to heights, order, and rate of placement, curing methods and so on. (3) The use of blended cements increase long term strength after 28 days, but decrease early strength and durability. So it is considered to the curing methods and early frost damage, and endurance limit.

  • 건조수축은 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 건조수축을 예측하기 위하여 여러 가지 모델들이 실험적으로 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 강도와 양생조건에 따른 건조수축을 측정하여 대표적인 모델코드와 그 특성을 비교하였다. 실험결과 물-시멘트비가 작아질수록 건조수축량은 감소하였고, 4주간 습윤 양생한 경우 전체수축이 크게 저하하였다. 예측 모델과 실험결과를 비교할 때 EC2 모델과 가장 잘 일치하였다.

  • Porous alumina was fabricated from pressureless powder packing forming method using powders granulated by spray drying. It was investigated the pore size distribution of fabricated porous alumina. The results of microstructural observation showed that intraganular pore size and intragranular pore size. At 1700$^{\circ}C$ there were no intragranular pores but it showed homogeneous distribution of intergranular pore size. The bending strength and shrinkage increased as porosity decreased. In case of thermal shock resistance sudden decrease of bending strength to $\Delta$T was not shown because intergranular large pore prevented sudden crack propagation.

  • Porous ceramics were fabricated from pressureless powder packing forming method using mullite and cordierite powders granulate by spray drying. The bending strength and shrinkage of porous ceramics were increased and their porosity were decreased with increasing temperature. It showed homogeneous distribution of 2$\mu\textrm{m}$ intergranular pores of mullite at 1400$^{\circ}C$, 2.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ intergranular pores of cordierite at 1300$^{\circ}C$ respedtively. Above that temperature intragranular particles were sintered and sintering by intergranular necking was extremely proceeded. In the test of thermal shock resistance sudden decrease of bending strength to $\Delta$T was not shown because intergranular large pore prevented sudden crack propagation.

수축저감제 혼입률 변화에 따른 고성능 콘크리트의 수축저감에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Shrinkage Reduction in High Performance Concrete according to the Adding Ratio of Anti-Shrinkage Agent)

  • This study discusses the use of anti-shrinkage agent as the method to reduce autogenous and drying shrinkage. According to results, as for the fundamental properties of high performance concrete, fluidity and strength decrease with an increase of the adding ratio of anti-shrinkage agent, but air content increases. Compared with plain concrete, autogenous and drying shrinkage are reduced by 12~52% and 4~22% respectively upto the adding rario of anti-shrinkage agent of 2.0%. When expansive additive is added by 5.0%, they are also reduced by 38~95% and 15~50% respectively. Therefore, as expansive additive of 5.0% and anti-shrinkage agent of 1.0% are added to high performance concrete of around W/B 30%, it is considered that fluidity and strength are hardly influenced, and in addition, crack by shrinkage can be prevented effectively.

  • Mechanical properties of Municipal Solid Wastes(MSW) and their influencing parameters were studied by using a series of triaxial compression tests and resonant column tests. The shear strength of MSW can be modeled by a bilinear failure criterion. As the unit weight increasing, cohesion and internal friction were increased linearly on semi-log scale. As the proportion of waste to soil increases, maximum shear moduli tend to decrease whereas minimum damping ratios increase. Shear moduli and damping of degradable waste are higher than those of non-degradable MSW.

  • High flexible lightweight composites containing tobermorite as a main mineral is produced using various amorphous silicates, lime, cement and fibers. Here, Mechanical properties of the composites were studied by observing microstructures of hydrates and fibers. Amorphous silicates having better hydraulicity retarded the crystallization of tobermorite due to better formation of C-S-H gel in water bath curing, but, difficult conversion from C-S-H gel to tobermorite in hydrothermal reaction. In the low molar ratio of CaO/SiO2 (0.67), faster crystalization was observed dued to more impurities such as Al2O3 alkali, resulting in improving mechanical properties due to small crystal size and many contact points. It was identified that a lot of calcium silicate hydates formed at surface of pulps increase bonding strength and the crack-resistance of matrix in the composites, but decrease hardness and compressive strength. The choice of amorpous silicates having better hydraulicity, low CaO/SiO2 adding each fibers bellow about 5% in the raw mixs and lower molding pressure should be needed at improve mechanical properties of composites.
