This paper examined whether strategic decision-making are related to its performance, using a empirical study. Variables of strategic decision-making process were procedural rationality, political behavior, and application of information technology, moderating variable was environmental unstability. The findings suggested that relations between strategic decision-making process and its performance was strongly correlated, but environmental unstability was not moderating for its performance.

In the modern society where information system based on the computer in organization have been developed over again. A decision support system is one of the most popular topics. The computer have been discussed in relation to management strategy between enterprisers and researchers so far, but the accumulation of data resource and communication foundation have not been attended in actuality. The organic connection between business and information technique have been less progressed than our expectation. At this point of time. such a technical restrution getting removed, We have closed a gap between management strategy and computer. Now we are taking a growing interest in computer use for supporting proceedings decision, a lot of strategic marketing decision is wifely used in such a case, and the technical development is comming to advanced. In this study, I Investigate such a new tendency as strategic program and proceedings decision system. I will especially focus my study on a strategic program and a budget control corporation, so to speak, on strategic budget management system. Concretely the purpose of this study is to investigate what functions the proceedings decision support system requires in order to deal with the problem of strategic level and to practically establish the system with the use of DSS GENERATOR/ARISTOTLE in my laboratory.

The study examines the effects of digital accounting on financial reporting quality, accounting information usefulness, and strategic decision effectiveness of listed firms in Thailand through digital transformation as the moderating variable. A total of 313 listed firms in Thailand were selected as the sample for the study. Structural equation model and multiple regression analysis are applied to test the research relationships. The results of the study show that digital accounting has a significant effect on financial reporting quality, accounting information usefulness, and strategic decision effectiveness. Financial reporting quality significantly affects both accounting information usefulness and strategic decision effectiveness while accounting information usefulness has a significant effect on strategic decision effectiveness. Both financial reporting quality and accounting information usefulness mediate the digital accounting-strategic decision effectiveness relationship. In addition, digital transformation moderates the digital accounting-financial reporting quality relationship and the digital accounting-accounting information usefulness relationship, but it does not moderate other relationships. Accordingly, digital accounting plays a significant role in determining and explaining firms' goal achievement. Executives are suggested to learn, invest and utilize the digital accounting system in the organization to ensure goal achievement and enhance organizational sustainability.

In recent years, many leading corporations are actively adopting IT as competitive resources to improve productivity and processes efficiency with strategic alignments. In effect, IT investment also continues to increase. As a vast growth of IT investment, questions and criticism on recent IT investment results are also rapidly being raised. Especially, improper decision making and management on IT investment may cause negative impact on the company's reputation and finances, therefore companies need reasonable and wise investment decision making on new IT projects. This study applies the conceptual framework of IT governance to IT investment decision making cases to examine how IT investment governance influences the quality of IT investment decision making and how business-IT strategic alignment affects the quality of IT investment decision making. This paper contributes to identify the main factors for reasonable and effective IT investment decision making and expected to provide proper guidelines for IT investment decision making.

경영 환경이 급격하게 변화함에 따라서 전략적 의사결정의 중요성이 커지고 있고, 효과적인 전략적 의사결정 지원 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 체계적인 전략적 의사결정 프로세스 개발, 효과적인 문제 해결 기법, 편리한 IT 도구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전략적 의사결정 프로세스를 개발하고, 문제해결 기법을 분류하고, 이를 기반으로 기법 추천 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 기반으로 한 SDSS 프레임웍은 기업의 전략적 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 SDSS 개발에 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

This study aims to identify the effect of blue ocean leadership style on strategic decision making and it also aims to examine the mediating role of organizational politic and moderating role of emotional intelligence in the Government Link Companies (GLCs) in Malaysia. In order to achieve the objective of the study, a research framework had been developed to establish a relationship among the variables of the study based on resource-based view theory. Questionnaire method was used to collect the data form middle to top level employees in GLCs. All the items in the study's variables were assessed using the 5-point Likert scale. A stratified random sampling technique was used to identify the sample for this study. Data was derived from 135 middle to top level employees, which were involved in decision making process. The data was analyzed using the SPSS and the SmartPLS 3.0 software. This supplemented the theory surrounding blue ocean leadership styles and strategic decision making. The study also identified several avenues for further research by using different research methods and examining the impact of strategic decision making in different contexts.

본 논문은 경영환경에 대한 불확실성 증대, 데이터 없는 최초 상황 발생, 합리적 의사결정이 불가능할 경우 등 기업환경이 변화할 때, 벤처 중소기업 경영자들은 의사결정 시 직관을 어떻게 활용하는가에 관한 사례연구다. 논문은 문헌 연구와 벤처 중소기업 경영자 16명을 심층 인터뷰하여 자료를 수집하였고, Klein, G, 의 "포괄적(generic) 멘탈 시뮬레이션 모델"로 분석하였다. 연구에 사용된 직관은 본인의 경험을 사용하는 전문가(expert) 직관과 타인의 경험도 활용하는 전략적(strategic) 직관으로 분류하였다. 사례연구 결과 경영자들은 전문가 직관과 전략적 직관을 다르게 활용하고 있었다. 전문가 직관의 특징은 별 노력 없이도 빠르게 작동하는데, 반해 전략적 직관은 시간이 많이 소요된다. 또 다른 특징은 전문가적 직관은 이미 발생된 일에 대한 의사결정에 많이 사용되고, 전략적 직관은 미래형 의사결정에 많이 활용되었다. 전략적 직관의 프로세스는 (1)전략적 관심단계 (2)매개물 발견단계 (3)1차 멘탈 시뮬레이션 단계 (4)핵심 매개변수 띄우기 단계, (4)2차 멘탈 시뮬레이션 단계 (5)내부 평가 단계 (6) 의사결정 단계를 거친다. 위에 단계를 모델링하여 벤처 중소기업 경영자들의 "전략적 직관에 의한 의사결정 모형(Strategic intuition decision-making model)"을 도출하였다. 사례분석 결과 나타난 중요한 결과는 첫째, 성공하는 의사결정 시 성공과 실패의 중요한 차이는 의사결정 프로세스 중 "2차 멘탈 시뮬레이션"에서 결정되었고, 둘째, 전문가 직관이 전략적 직관보다 많아질수록 경영의 어려움에 봉착하였으며. 셋째, 전략적 직관은 학습이 가능하다.

In recognizing knowledge as a new resource in gaining organizational competitiveness, knowledge management suggests a method in managing and applying knowledge for improving organizational performance. Much knowledge management research has focused on identifying, storing, and disseminating process related knowledge in an organized manner. Applying knowledge to decision making has a significant impact on organizational performance than solely processing transactions for knowledge management. In this research, we suggest a method of knowledge-based decision-making using system dynamics, with an emphasis to strategic problems. The proposed method transforms individual mental models into explicit knowledge by translating partial and implicit knowledge into an integrated knowledge model. The scenario-based test of the organized knowledge model enables decision-makers to understand the structure of the target problem and identify its basic cause, which facilitates effective decision-making. This method facilitates the linkage between knowledge management initiatives and achieving strategic goals and objectives of an organization.

A strategic decision making needs a sound process modeling to find out the right path of organizational changes; however, dynamic feedback processes involved in a real world business, make it difficult to predict the outcomes of strategic decisions. In this paper, we present a conceptual framework to facilitate strategic decision making process for organizational changes. The framework, which employs the concepts of analytic network process (ANP) and system dynamics (SD), can be used to prioritize various projects under consideration and to make a long-term strategic plan in a constructive manner.

The need for holistic modeling efforts for returns that capture the extended closed loop supply chain (CLSC) system at strategic as well as operational level has been clearly recognized by the industry and academia. Strategic decision-makers need comprehensive models that can guide them in efficient decision-making to increase the profitability of the entire forward and return chain. Therefore, determination of a near optimal design configuration, which includes the environmental, economical and technological capability factors, is important in strategic decision-making effort that affect the profitability of the closed loop supply chain. In this paper, we adopted an improved system dynamics methodology to tackle strategic issues that affect various performance measures, like market, time/cost, environment etc., for closed loop supply chains. After studying real life implementation issues in CLSC design, we presented guidelines for the PBM (Participative Business Modeling) methodology and presented its extension for the strategic dynamic system modeling of return chains. Finally, we demonstrated the measurement of operational performance by extending SD (system dynamic) application to closed loop supply chain management.
