바닥충격에 의한 공동주택의 바닥, 벽, 천장의 진동 및 소음방사특성 연구 (Evaluating the Vibrational Characteristics of Floor Impact Noise in Different Structural Elements of an Apartment House)

  • The overall noise reduction was compared in regard to the vibrational characteristics of floor impact noise in a multi story residential building which has several noise reduction treatments. The vibration through its structural elements such as wall, floor and ceiling and sound emitting were investigated for each insulation treatment. It was found that, in case of heavy-weight impact noise, the vibration energy is emitted mostly from ceiling, but for the light-weight impact noise, most of the energy comes through ceiling and walls. That is, the vibration of a ceiling is the main factor that determines the frequency characteristics of the transmitting noise to lower floors.

  • The requirement to safe and economical buildings caused to the exploitation of nonlinear capacity structures and optimization of them. This requirement leads to forming seismic design method based on performance. In this study, concentrically braced frames (CBFs) have been optimized at the immediate occupancy (IO) and collapse prevention (CP) levels. Minimizing structural weight is taken as objective function subjected to performance constraints on inter-story drift ratios at various performance levels. In order to evaluate the seismic capacity of the CBFs, pushover analysis is conducted, and the process of optimization has been done by using Bee Algorithm. Results indicate that performance based design caused to have minimum structural weight and due to increase capacity of CBFs.

연약지반에서 경량구조물 기초의 침하거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Settlement Behavior of Foundations for Light-weight Structures on Clay Deposits)

  • There are several types of foundations for light-weight structures, such as low story buildings, on soft clay deposits. Those foundations, such as piled raft, compensated foundation, mat foundation, floating foundation are commonly used rather then end-bearing piles to get more benefits on the construction and cost savings. In this study, settlement behaviors are computed and compared for several types of foundations on soft clay deposits. Also, theoretical expressions of parameters for piled raft system were provided with co-relations for design purposes. The predictions of settlements of piled rafts foundation are proposed based on the pile dimensions and design loads. From this study, the piled raft foundations is more benefits for reducing the settlement of clay deposits, and it is found that the piled raft system is applicable and effective on thick clay deposits, and that differential settlements of the foundation should be managed by designing the configuration of pile lengths.

Optimal design using genetic algorithm with nonlinear inelastic analysis

  • An optimal design method in cooperated with nonlinear inelastic analysis is presented. The proposed nonlinear inelastic method overcomes the difficulties due to incompatibility between the elastic global analysis and the limit state member design in the conventional LRFD method. The genetic algorithm used is a procedure based on Darwinian notions of survival of the fittest, where selection, crossover, and mutation operators are used to look for high performance ones among sections in the database. They are satisfied with the constraint functions and give the lightest weight to the structure. The objective function taken is the total weight of the steel structure and the constraint functions are load-carrying capacity, serviceability, and ductility requirement. Case studies of a planar portal frame, a space two-story frame, and a three-dimensional steel arch bridge are presented.

서울시 부유분진증 질산암모늄 농도 (Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in TSP in Seoul Ambient Air)

  • Concentration of volatile particulate nitrate(NH$_4$NO$_3$) in TSP in ambient air was determined from Feb. to Oct 1993. Sampling was carried out using a two-stage Andersen air sampler at the top of a five-story building located at Kon- Kuk University in Seoul Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in TSP was measured by Pyrolysis of sample filters at 16$0^{\circ}C$ for 1hr. Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ was higher in winter time compared with that in summer time. Also, concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ was higher in fine particles compared with that in coarse particle. The range of NH$_4$NO$_3$concentration was between 2.99 and 9.86 $\mu\textrm{g}$/㎥. Weight fraction of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in total particulate nitrate was 31.1~59.5%, and weight fraction of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in YSP was 2.1~11.2%.

고무공 충격원을 이용한 바닥충격음 측정 (Measurements of Floor Impact Noise Using a New Impact Ball)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the use of a new standard impactor, the impact ball, in evaluating heavy-weight impact noises in reinforced concrete structures. A survey revealed that children running and jumping are the major heavy-weight impact sources in multi-story residential buildings. The noise from the impact ball was measured and psychoacoustically assessed. The relationship between the noise levels and the subjective responses was also investigated. Results showed that the noise from the impact ball is similar to the noise of children running and jumping. It was also found that the noise level of the impact ball is slightly higher than the noise level of a bang machine, although the impact ball has a lower impact force.

2층도로용 강구조 덱 시스템의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of Steel-Deck System for Two-Story Roads)

  • 최근도심지의 극심한 교통체증의 해소를 위한 방안으로 2층도로 강구조 덱 시스템의 채택이 증가하고 있다. 그 주된 이유는 신속한 시공과 콘크리트덱에 비하여 자중의 감소효과가 크고 보다 큰 강도와 효율적인 가설이 가능하기 때문이다. 본 연구의 목적은 강구조 덱 시스템의 최적설계프로그램을 이용한 2층도로용 강구조 덱 시스템의 가장 합리적인 형식 결정에 관한 연구이다. 최적화의 목적함수는 최소 초기비용으로 정식화하였다. 설계 제약조건은 도로교시방서의 ASD설계기준에 맞추어 정식화하였으며 최적설계과정은 두 단계로 이루어져 있다. 첫 번째 단계는 박스 또는 플레이트주형에 대한 강구조 덱 시스템의 최적설계가 수행된다. 그리고 두 번째 단계에서 개단면 또는 폐단면리브를 갖는 강상판에 대하여 최적설계를 한다. 최적설계 프로그램의 구조해석은 주형에 대하여 격자해석 모델링을 이용하였고 강상판에 대해서는 Pelican-Esslinger법을 사용하였다. 최적화 기법은 SQP를 이용하였다. 적용 예의 각 형식별 강구조 덱 시스템의 최적설계 결과의 비교를 통하여 비용의 효율성을 검토하였고 폐단면리브를 가지는 직선 형상의 박스거더 형식이 가장 효율적이고 경제적으로 판단된다.

  • 구조물의 우발적인 붕괴가 발생할 경우, 기둥 또는 기둥군(群)에 낙하물에 의한 충격이 가해지게 된다. 낙하물의 충격하중은 기둥부재의 하중변형관계에 따라 소성변형에너지로 흡수가 가능하다. 진행성 붕괴를 방지하기 위해서는 기둥부재의 에너지 흡수 능력이 상시지지 하는 연직하중과 낙하물의 충격하중을 합한 연직하중보다 커야 한다. 이를 위해 구조물이 최종 붕괴 상태에 도달되는 전 과정에 대한 기둥부재의 하중변형관계를 명확히 파악할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 1층 4경간 평면철골프레임의 비선형유한요소해석을 실시하여 기둥부재의 우발적 손실에 대한 에너지 흡수 능력을 평가하였다. 또한, 극한해석을 실시하여 연직하중의 저하 정도를 비교 검토하였다.
