터보엔진 구성품용 스프링의 저장 신뢰성 평가 (Storage Reliability Assessment of Springs for Turbo Engine Components)

  • 본 연구에서는 가속열화시험을 이용하여 터보엔진 구성품용 스프링의 저장 신뢰도를 예측하는 방법을 제시한다. 스프링의 신뢰성 평가 절차를 먼저 수립한 후, 스프링의 성능열화특성은 스프링 상수로 선정한다. 또한 스프링 상수를 노화시키는 가속 스트레스 인자는 온도로 결정한다. 본 연구에서는 터보엔진에 사용되는 스프링에 대해서 3가지 온도 조건에서 시험을 실시하며, 각각의 온도 조건에서 스프링의 노화 상태를 확인하기 위해 주기적으로 스프링 상수를 측정한다. 스프링의 고장시간은 열화모델을 이용하여 예측하며, 최종적으로 고장시간과 가속모델을 이용하여 사용조건에서 스프링의 저장 수명을 예측한다.

다공질 장석으로 제조한 축열층의 열전도 특성 (Thermal Conductivity Effect of Heat Storage Layer using Porous Feldspar Powder)

  • 다공성 구조의 장석과 주택 시방기준으로 제작된 바닥 축열층 모르타르의 열적 특성과 소비전력을 비교하였다. 실험을 위해 온수관이 설치된 2개의 실대형 모형을 제작하였다. 자외선 열화상 온도와 온도센서를 이용하여 가열과 냉각과정에서 축열층의 온도변화를 모니터링하였다. 시험동의 축열층은 $20-30^{\circ}C$ 구간의 온도 범위의 가열조건에서 $2-3.5^{\circ}C$ 높은 온도를 보였고 목표 온도에 도달하는 시간이 단축되었다. 온수관에서 멀어질수록 $4-4.8^{\circ}C$ 이상의 차이를 보였고 이는 장석 기반의 모르타르 축열층이 열적 평형에 빨리 도달하는 것을 지시한다. 가열 온도 $30^{\circ}C$를 기준으로 산정한 소비전력은 2.2배 차이를 보였고 단계별 온도 상승에서 소비전력은 66% 절감되었다. 냉각에서 시험동의 표면온도는 지속해서 $2^{\circ}C$ 이상 높았고 축열로 인해 보일러의 재가동 시간이 연장되는 것을 고려하면 에너지 효율은 더 증가할 것이다.

Effect of water storage on flexural strength of silorane and methacrylate-based composite resins

  • Objectives: This study assessed the effect of water storage on the flexural strength (FS) of low shrinkage composites. Materials and Methods: A total of 165 bar-shaped specimens ($2{\times}2{\times}25mm$) were fabricated of 2 low shrinkage composites (Filtek P90 [3M ESPE], GC Kalore [GC International]) and a conventional methacrylate-based composite (Filtek Z250 [3M ESPE]). The specimens were subjected to 3-point bending test at 6 time intervals, namely: immediately after curing, at 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year following storage in wet and dry conditions. The FS of the specimens were measured by applying compressive load at a crosshead speed of 1.0 mm/min. Data was analyzed using 3-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test. Results: Three-way ANOVA revealed significant interactions between time, type of composite, and storage condition (p = 0.001). Tukey's multiple comparison test revealed significant reductions in FS of all composites after 6 months and 1 year of storage in distilled water compared to dry condition. Conclusions: Filtek P90 showed the highest and GC Kalore showed the lowest FS after 1 year storage in distilled water. The immediate high strength of Filtek Z250 significantly decreased at 1 year and its final value was lower than that of Filtek P90.

초고온 살균유의 저장 중 겔 형성 거동 (Gelation Behavior of Ultra High Temperature Pasteurized Milk during Storage)

  • In order to examine physicochemical gelation behavior of ultra high temperature(UHT) pasteurized milk during storage at 4$^{\circ}C$ and 25$^{\circ}C$, pH, electrophoresis, alcohol test, sialic acid contents and free amino groups contents were biweekly determined. The pH of UHT pasteurized milk decreased with increasing storage time. Gelation of the UHT milk occured faster at 25$^{\circ}C$ than at 4$^{\circ}C$ with larger decreasing rate of pH. The alcohol test showed positive results at lower pH than 6.5, which could indicate the casein instability and beginning of gelation. The electrophoretic patterns showed a decrease in the concentrations of all caseins. Degradation of k-casein was faster in all cases, while $\alpha$-casein and $\beta$-casein were also extensively degraded later. The sialic acid contents of the samples increased gradually during storage, and the increasing rate was higher before gel formation. The free amino groups of the samples increased gradually during storage. The increasing rate of free amino groups was faster at 25$^{\circ}C$ than at 4$^{\circ}C$. The samples stored at 25$^{\circ}C$ gelled earlier than those stored at 25$^{\circ}C$, with corresponding increase of free amino groups. The residual proteolytic enzymes, which survived during the UHT heat treatments and were reactivated during storage, could be responsible for UHT pasteurized milk gelation during storage. It is assumed that proteolytic degradation of caseins followed by aggregation would be attributable to complicated reaction mechanism.

십전대보탕의 장기보관 중 품질변화 (Quality Variation of Sibjeondaebotang according to Long-term Storage)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate of quality variation of Sibujeondaebotang according to storage period and temperature (5 and $25^{\circ}C$) Identificaion test, pH, specific gravity, heavy metal, microbial limit test and glycyrrhizic acid, paeoniflorin content of Sibjeondaebotang were performed during 12 months. The significant change was not shown on identificaion test, specific gravity, microbial limit test under long term storage and the result suited a safe level standards of 'Korean National Standard of Traditional Medicinal (Herbal and Botanical) Materials - "Sibjeondaebotang"'. The test of pH showed meaningful changes between two storage temperature (5 and $25^{\circ}C$) according to increasing storage period. The contents of glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin had no relation with storage temperature($5^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$) but it showed a tendency to decrease according to the length of storage period. We predicted shelf-life of glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin at storgae temperature(5 and $25^{\circ}C$) as about 6 and 3 months, respecttively. Therefore considering glycyrrhizic acid and paeoniflorin, sibjeondaebotang is determined to be in good condition within 3 months, regardless of the room temperature and refrigerated temperature. We were expected to serve as a basis for the guideline of medication counseling sibjeondaebotang.

  • 쉽게 시험할 수 특성을 가진 SLA 의 설계에 관해 논하였다. 제안된 SLA는 hardware를 부가함으로써 회로의 상태를 쉽게 조절하고 점검할 수 있게 하였다. 제안된 SLA는 test pattern과 응답이 SLA에 구현된 함수에 관계없고 단지 SLA의 크기에 따라 유일하게 결정되는 매우 짧은 보편적인 test sequence를 갖는다. 여기서 고려된 SLA의 고장은 단일 및 다중 stuck faults, crosspoint faults 및 bridge faults이다. 또한 고장의 위치 판별 및 그 처리에 관해서도 고찰하였다.

  • Purpose: Domestic electric railway Regenerative Energy Storage System seriously affects the maintenance cost of the total operating expenses of nearly 60% of the total LCC (Life Cycle Cost) due to high dependence on foreign Leading company. Therefore by developing the system, it is important to lower the maintenance cost in the domestic supply. This study about the capacitor Reliability test and the purpose of this study is development electric railway Regenerative Energy Storage System. Methods: In case of, having a close relation between the temperature and the reaction rate, Accelerated Model was known that according to Arrhenius' law of chemical activity. If you apply this formula in using allowable temperature range of the capacitor can induce the Arrhenius empirical formula used in much Manufacture Fields. We evaluate the capacitors Leading company through the Arrhenius model. in order to providing a base for the localization of Ultra Capacitor. Conclusion: In this paper, we conducted a reliability test. And it was performed by the accelerated life test and Cycle Test with temperature and C-rate. and then MTBF and B10 life are estimated by analyzing the accelerated life test result. This is thought to need detailed study applying complex stress than about whether it matches the actual behavior in electric railway.

얇은 평판의 환경시험에서 유도온도 예측에 대한 연구 (STUDY ON PREDICTION OF THE INDUCED TEMPERATURE IN ENVIRONMENTAL TEST)

  • Environmental test is divided into operation test and storage test. The temperature of storage test is induced temperature which is considered with all sort of the heat source. Induced temperature is the temperature to be adapted to each item and platform and can be induced by computer simulation, laboratory, and real field test. We considered the induced temperature to be associated with solar heat source. In this research. First, we compared the induced temperature which be occurred by one experiment for thin plate in solar test chamber with the other one which be occurred by computer simulation to be SolidWorks 2007 COSMOS FloWorks. After this verification, we showed induced temperature which can be occurred when the test item is stored. Especially, we bring out the induced temperature by applying the ambient temperatures which is presented by MIL-STD-810F and brought out in preceding research.

차기 적외선 섬광제 저장수명 예측 (Storage Life Estimation of Next Infrared Flare Material)

  • This paper shows storage life estimation of next IR(infrared) flare material through accelerated degradation tests. Three temperature conditions for the accelerated degradation tests are 55, 65 and $75^{\circ}C$. Six performances of IR flare material are burning time, IR peak/continuous Intensity, total energy of near/mid-IR and color ratio, and they were measured after the tests. Storage life of the IR flare material was estimated through both analyzing the degradation data of those performances and applying distribution-based degradation models to the data. Over 30 years of storage life at $20^{\circ}C$ is estimated in terms of IR peak intensity with reliability 0.99 and confidence level 99 %. Additionally, 10 years of storage period at $21^{\circ}C$ would be equivalent to 68 days of accelerated test at $65^{\circ}C$ from the activation energy in Arrhenius model.

Flexural behavior of steel storage rack base-plate upright connections with concentric anchor bolts

  • Steel storage racks are slender structures whose overall behavior and the capacity depend largely on the flexural behavior of the base-plate to upright connections and on the behavior of beam-to-column connections. The base-plate upright connection assembly details, anchor bolt position in particular, associated with the high-rise steel storage racks differ from those of normal height steel storage racks. Since flexural behavior of high-rise rack base connection is hitherto unavailable, this investigation experimentally establishes the flexural behavior of base-plate upright connections of high-rise steel storage racks. This investigation used an enhanced test setup and considered nine groups of three identical tests to investigate the influence of factors such as axial load, base plate thickness, anchor bolt size, bracket length, and upright thickness. The test observations show that the base-plate assembly may significantly influence the overall behavior of such connections. A rigid plate analytical model and an elastic plate analytical model for the overall rotations stiffness of base-plate upright connections with concentric anchor bolts were constructed, and were found to give better predictions of the initial stiffness of such connections. Analytical model based parametric studies highlight and quantify the interplay of components and provide a means for efficient maximization of overall rotational stiffness of concentrically anchor bolted high-rise rack base-plate upright connections.
