In this paper, we provide some fundamental properties and basic theoretical results of K-class-based dedicated storage policy in a unit load system assuming the constant-space assumption that the number of storage locations for a class is not the maximum aggregate inventory position for a class but the sum of space requirement for products assigned to the class. The main theorem is that there exists a (K+1) -class-based storage layout whose expexted single command (SC) travel time is not greater than that of a K-class-based storage layout, i.e, $E(SC^*_{K+1}){\leq}E(SC^*_K)\;for\;K=1,{\cdots}$, (n-1).

The user's needs for the American kitchen space were studied. Especially the remodelings and the desirable changes of the rural kitchen space were examined. Pilot study was carried out by the field survey. Questionnaire with 16 open-end items had been collested bt mail in Missouris, U.S. Based on the qualitative analysis of data for 104 houses. main characteristics of users' needs for the kitchen space can be summerized as follows : 1) The residents had changed or updated materials and facilities, and had enlarged storage space to equip more cabinets. Kitchen space had been adapted to new facilities and appliances. 2) The users still wanted to have larger kitchen space, more storage space and newer floor materials. Through this study it can be concluded that users needed kitchen space to be convenient and wide enough to work.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic information far planning Dinning-Kitchen storage space. The self-administered questionnaire method were used for this study. The result were analyzed SPSS package program. The major findings were summarized as follows: The size of apartment was related to satisfaction of Dinning-Kitchen storage furiture and was related to storage usage.

이동통신과 인터넷 기술의 결합으로 탄생한 무선 인터넷은 휴대의 편리성을 제공하고 있으나 모바일 환경의 제약사항 때문에 대중적인 인터넷 서비스로는 발전하지 못하고 있다. 무선 환경의 제한 요소 중 협소한 메모리 공간으로 모바일 디바이스에서는 효율적인 자원 관리를 수행하지 못하는 단점을 가지고 있다 휴대성이 고려되어야 하는 하드웨어 특성상 충분한 메모리 용량을 확보하는 데에는 한계가 있으므로 향후에는 디바이스 내부의 저장 장치에서 외부의 영역까지 메모리 공간을 확장하여 데이터 처리가 수행될 수 있는 플랫폼 구조로 발전되어야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 디바이스의 내부에서 외부의 서버까지 메모리 공간을 런타임 액세스(Run-time Access)에 의해서 확장하여 데이터 활용을 가능하게 하고 디바이스 내부의 파일을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 모바일 에이전트를 제안하며 이를 실현하기 위한 자원 관리시스템(RMS: Resources Management System)을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안된 RMS를 적용한 디바이스는 '모바일 공간확장'으로 확대된 프로세스 적용이 가능하며 내부 파일을 효과적으로 관리하여 최적의 메모리 공간을 유지하는 효과가 있다.

유통물류센터는 재고를 보유하고 있어 효율적인 보관면적에 관한 설계는 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 표준 파렛트 유닛로드 이용을 고려한 유통물류센터의 최적 보관면적 산출방안 제시를 연구 목적으로 하며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내에서 주로 사용되는 T-11형과 T-12형 파렛트를 보관하는 표준 랙 모듈을 정의하였다. 둘째, 다양한 파렛트 운반 장비를 조사 및 분석하여, 유형별 표준 운반장비 작업통로를 정의하였다. 그리고 최종으로 보관 공간 내에서 랙 모듈 배치 시 발생할 수 있는 비활용 공간 최소화 방안 제시와 함께 유통물류센터 보관 공간에 대한 손쉬운 최적면적 산출 방안을 제안하였다는 측면에서 큰 시사점을 갖는다. 향후 연구에서는 Mini-Load용 표준 랙 모듈 및 GTP(Goods to Person) 피킹 시스템 등 최근 물류 기술이 반영된 표준화된 전체 물류센터 레이아웃 배치에 관한 연구가 필요하다.

Existing non-manifold data structures which use the ordered topological representation method, are designed based on a "Model" which is the highest topological entity. Their non-manifold information is always included in edges and vertices even if they are in the manifold situation. Thus they require large storage spaces than manifold data structures. The proposed data structure reduces its storage space by removing unnecessary information stored in edges and vertices. Topological information is classified into manifold and non-manifold information. The main non-manifold information is radial cycles and disk cycles. The proposed data structure always stores manifold information. For the non-manifold situation, the edge stores radial cycles, and the vertex stores disk cycles. The storage space can be reduced in the later stage of CAD design when the ratio of non-manifold to manifold entities is small.

The purpose of this study is to suggest more efficient modular units of the storage furniture system based on the two previous studies of the apartments storage furniture. This study is also to show the ways and means of making practical use of the results which come from the previous studies. The specific purpose of this study is, 1. To establish the modular furniture system minimizing the dead space, using investigation results of the bedroom size of existing apartments. 2. To establish the modular furniture system maximizing the storage space with utmost efficiency, based on the results of the actual storage condition from the previous research. 3. To suggest a case study of the different modular furniture system suiting 6 different bedroom sizes with the utmost efficiency, based on the results of above two purpose. On the bases of these research results, the design of various units of modular system furniture for bedrooms were suggested.

In modern society, since the expansion of the e-commerce market and the spread of the pandemic, face-to-face business are gradually changing to non-face-to-face. In the logistics industry, the demand for unmanned courier storage is increasing due to lack of loading space from urbanization and courier theft accidents. As the demand for unmanned parcel lockers increases, improved functions such as food storage and efficient space loading are required. This study develops an integrated model-based evaluation procedure of product based on performance factors according to the IEC 61508 standard for newly unmanned parcel storage devices with active loading technology, and derive Critical Technology Element based on the product's core functions and performance goals. As proposing these research, We expect improve the safety and reliability of development targets by identifying and evaluating elements.

This study has been designed to explore the preferences of interior space for those living in apartment housing. It also examines the relationships between preferences of interior space, such as storage space, organization type of LDK(the living room, the dining room, and kitchen), space facing south, an interior garden, the concept of each room and the characteristics of the consumers, such as age, educational background employment status of homemakers, occupation of the primary income provider, family-life cycle, total household income, the size of floor space, and homeownership. In conclusion, this study suggests that at the time of designing apartment housing units, serious consideration should be given to the built-in closets or storage space in the anbang and to the location of a child's room facing to the south of the dwelling, especially for the families with a child attending primary school or younger and higher education level of homemaker. This study also recommends that the organization of the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen should be varied according to the housing size and the age of homemaker.

This study examines changes of internal structure and the ratios of room sizes of flat-type apartment housing and residents' demand of housing alteration. The main results are follows: First, the auxiliary space, such as multi-purpose room, storage ＆ receiving space, becomes an important component of flat-type apartment housing. Second, apartment housings should be supplied to residents focusing on functions of space rather than the number of rooms. Third, the ratios of living room and storage space sizes have been increased as living space increases. Since the current apartment housings do not meet residents' needs, we suggest that residents' age, number of family, and economic status must be considered when apartment space are planned.
