저장온도 및 포장재에 따른 절단배추 김치의 품질변화 및 Shelf-life (Quality Changes and Shelf-life of Cut Cabbage Kimchi under Various Storage Temperatures and Packing Materials)

  • To study the shelf-life of cut cabbage kimchi, we examined the several quality characteristics of cabbage kimchi under various storage temperatures and packing materials. The pH of kimchi extracts were decreased to 4.0 in the condition of storage at 8$^{\circ}C$ during 6 days, at 4$^{\circ}C$ during 18days, 0$^{\circ}C$ during 42 days. The increase patterns of the organic acid were reverse to the changes of pH under the all conditions. The contents of reducing sugar were continuously decreased at 8$^{\circ}C$ , but increased gradually at 0$^{\circ}C$ and 4$^{\circ}C$ storage conditions. The contents of vitamine C were decreased at the early storage but increased to optimum ripening stage of pH 4.2-4.4 and after decreased continuously. The total bacterial cell counts of cabbage kimchi were increased suddenly at the early storage and after decreased gradually. And at the higher storage temperature, the more lactic acid bacteria were. On the results of sensory evaluation of cabbage kimchi at marketable shelf-life, sour taste and sour smell were significant under all experimental conditions by Duncan's multiple range test. On the above all results, we concluded that the marketable shelf-life of cut cabbage kimchi were 42 days, 19 days, 6 days at 0$^{\circ}C$, 4$^{\circ}C$, 8$^{\circ}C$ storage condition respectively.

CA저장 중 후지 사과의 내부 기체농도에 의한 저장조건의 적합성 판단 (Suitability Judgment of Storage Conditions by Internal Gas Concentration of 'Fuji' Apples under CA Storage)

  • CA 저장 중 후지 사과의 내부 기체 농도에 의한 저장 조건의 적합성을 신속하게 판단하기 위한 지표를 얻기 위하여 과실 내부 에틸렌과 이산화탄소의 농도에 따른 과육경도, 적정산도 및 과피 녹색의 유지정도를 조사하였다. 저장 중 사과의 내부 에틸렌 농도가 10ppm 이하에서는 과육경도, 적정산도 및 과피의 녹색이 거의 손실되지 않았으나 약 10ppm 이상에서는 급격하게 손실되었다. 저장 중 사과의 내부 이산화탄소 농도는 낮을수록 높은 과육경도, 적정산도 및 과피의 녹색을 유지하였는데 특히 내부 이산화탄소 농도가 2% 이하인 사과에서 높은 품질특성을 유지하였다 따라서 후지 사과의 CA저장에 적합한 저장조건은 사과의 내부 에틸렌과 이산화탄소 농도를 각각 약 10 ppm과 약 2% 이하로 유지할 수 있는 조건으로 판단되고, 사과의 내부 에틸렌과 이산화탄소 농도는 저장조건의 적합성을 판단하는 지표로 사용 가능하였다.

수삼저장중 이화학적 및 기생물학적 변화 (Physico-Chemical and Microbiological Changes during Storage of Fresh Ginseng)

  • Physical, chemical and microbiological changes were periodically studied during six-month storage of fresh ginseng under N2, CO2 gas or subatmospheric pressure condition. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The moisture contents of fresh ginseng gradually decreased during the first 2-month storage and thereafter generally reached at equillibrium. 2. There was no significant change in the reducing sugar content in 1-month storage, followed by$.$a decrease in between 2-and 3-month storage. Thereafter, the reducing sugar content increased at the end of 4-month storage. 3. The total sugar content increased significantly during the first 3-month storage. Under CO2 and Nr gas storage, the total sugar content gradually decreased after 3-month storage, while no significant change was observed in the samples stored under subatmospheric Pressure. Amylase activity gradually decreased as storage period increased 4. The content of saponin decreased as storage period increased, but ginsengoide Rf, Rd, Rc and Rb2 increased significantly in 1-month storage. 5. Regardless of storage methods, sprouting of ginseng and growth of microorganisms were inhibited in all samples during the first 4-month storage. However, growth of microorganisms was observed in the rhizome and injured areas of ginseng after 5-month storage in the N2 and CO2 gas atmosphere.

물품부피에 근거한 적정수납용적에 관한 연구 - 30평형대 아파트를 중심으로 - (Study on the optimal storage-capacity based on the commodity volume in apartments - Focused on $85m^2$ apartment -)

  • Because of economic growth and the social trend to respect individuality, people's average commodity volume tends to increase. It makes people perceive the importance of storage space. The storage planning without consideration of commodity volume in the apartment can not satisfy the needs of residents. This study is developed focused on the $85m^2$ apartment which is the most representative and general type. The objectives of the study are to investigate the storage-capacity of $85m^2$ apartment offered by 4 construction companies to know the present storage condition, to investigate the average volumes and type of commodities in 30 families located in Seoul and Kyungkido to produce the necessary storage-capacity, and lastly to produce optimal storage-capacity and proportion of optimal storage-capacity considering the volume of the furniture owned by each resident. The results of the study are 1) the storage capacity for commodity volume in $85m^2$ apartment is $19.41m^3$. 2) the optimal storage-capacity which only counts the storage volume of built-in furniture is $17.14m^3$ 3) the proportion of optimal storage-capacity is 9.5% of the house-capacity.

재배조건 및 채굴시기가 연포장재 필름으로 개별포장한 수삼의 저장성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Cultivation Condition and Harvest Time on the Storage Stability of Fresh Ginseng Individually Packaged in a Soft Film)

  • The influence of cultivation condition and harvest time on the storage stability of the fresh ginseng (50g) individually packaged in a soft film bag (ONY/LDPE/L-LDPE; 200$\times$300 mm, 90㎛) was investigated. When the fresh ginsengs were divided into four groups of direct-planted ginseng on the paddy soil(PD), transplanted ginseng on the upland(UT) and each group was stored at 25$\^{C}$ for 40 days, the quality deterioration rate was the highest in PD group while PT, UD and UT groups exhibited similar quality patterns from each other. When each group was stored at 10$\^{C}$, the quality deterioration rate was also the highest in PD group and the other three groups exhibited similar quality patterns from each other till 90 days passed after storage. However, the quality deterioration rate of UT group was 54% which was higher than UD group or PT group 180 days after storage. When the fresh ginseng harvested between September of 1997 and October of 1998 was individually packaged with the soft film and stored at 25$\^{C}$ for 12 days, the quality deterioration rate was the lowest in the group harvested in October while relatively high in the groups harvested between July and September.

  • 유도탄은 일반적으로 양산 후 바로 사용하는 것이 아니라 장기간 저장을 거친 후 사용되므로 운용 신뢰도가 아니라 저장 신뢰도가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 가속노화시험을 통해 유도탄의 엔진 조립체 및 부품에 대한 저장 신뢰도를 평가하는 방법을 제시한다. 엔진 조립체의 시험은 실제 저장 시간과 등가한 가속 시험조건에서 시험을 수행한 후 각 부품의 노화 상태를 확인한다. 반면, 부품에 대해서는 가속 시험조건에서 주기적으로 성능노화특성을 측정하여 고장시간을 예측한 후 여러 가속 조건의 시험데이터와 가속모델을 이용하여 사용조건의 수명을 결정하는 시험을 수행한다.

  • 장기 성층 온수 저장조 내의 중간 경계면에서 전달되는 열량을 예측하기 위하여 이론식을 유도 확립하고 이론적인 축열효율을 구하였다. 그리고 이론 축열효율값과 비교 고찰하기 위하여 여러 실험 조건을 통한 실제 축열효율을 구하였고, 저장조 내의 중간 경계면에서 일어나는 혼합정도를 효과적으로 해석하기 위하여 유효 열확산 계수를 정량화하였다. 중간 경계면에서 열전도에 의한 손실이 일회 충수 시간이 짧을수록 즉, Pe 수가 증가할 수록 많이 발생함을 알았다.

  • Thermal analyses have been carried out for a spent fuel dry storage cask under normal and off-normal conditions. Environmental temperature is assumed to be $15^{\circ}C$ under the normal condition. The off-normal condition has an environmental temperature of $38^{\circ}C$. An additional off-normal condition is considered as a partial blockage of the air inlet ducts. Two of the four air inlet ducts are assumed to be completely blocked. The maximum temperatures of the fuel rod and concrete overpack were lower than the allowable values under the normal condition. Temperature distributions for the off-normal conditions were slightly higher than the normal conditions.

가족생활주기에 따른 수납 의식 및 요구 비교 (A Study on Residents' Perceptions and Needs for Storage according to the Family Life Cycle)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine residents' perception and needs for storage according to the family life cycle. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey is used. We sample the questionnaire surveys of 250 apartment households in Seoul. The data collect by the questionnaire survey was analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the study are obtained as follows: 1) In research on the actual storage condition, residents tend to feel constraint on storage of the season goods and the storage satisfaction on the service area is founded lowest. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space plan on the balcony storage and the interior storage for the season goods. 2) In research on the storage consciousness and attitude, residents tend to keep the goods of no use and prefer to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space in the balcony for the storage of the goods of no use and the colsed furniture rather than the open furniture is suited for arrangement. 3) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all family life cycle show highly and residents want to a space for the exclusive use of the storage. 한국산 양다래(Actinidia chinensis Planch.)의 CA 저장성에 관한 연구 (Effect of $CO_2$ Concentration of CA Conditions on Quality of Kiwifruit (Actinidia chinensis Planch.) during Storage)

  • 양다래의 저장성 향상을 위해서 밀폐저장용기 내의 공기조성 중 산소농도를 2%로 고정하고 탄산가스 농도를 각각 2, 4% 그리고 6%로 조절한 CA조건에서 양다래를 저장하면서 과실의 품질에 관련된 이화학적 변화를 조사하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. CA 저장 180일 경과 후 과실 품질의 가장 중요한 지표인 경도는 탄산가스 농도를 4%로 유지시켰던 구가 3.0kg으로 가장 우수한 연화 억제효과를 보였다. 탄산가스 농도에 따른 양다래의 호흡률 및 유기산 변화에서 저장 60일 이후부터는 탄산가스 농도를 6%로 유지시켰던 구가 2% 및 4% 유지구 보다 낮은 호흡률을 보였으며 유기산 중 퀴닌산과 숙신산의 경우 저장기간이 경과됨에 따라 저장구간에 뚜렷한 차이가 없이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. CA 저장구 중 이취의 원인이 되는 에틸알콜과 아세트알데히드 발생량은 탄산가스의 농도가 증가할수록 생성량이 많았다. 이상과 같은 결과로 한국산 양다래의 CA저장을 위해서는 산소농도 2%로 고정시 탄산가스 농토를 4%로 유지시키는 것이 적합한 것으로 판단되었다.
