실선시험에 의한 새바다호의 조종 성능에 관한 고찰 (A study on the manoeuvrability of T/S SAEBADA by real sea trials)

  • This study is intended to provide navigator with specific information necessary to assist in the avoidance of collision and in operation of ships to evaluate the manoeuvrability of own ship. The actual manoeuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged from the results of typical ship trials manoeuvres. Author carried out sea trials based full scale for turning test, zig-zag test, spiral tests and crash-stop test at actual sea going condition. The turning circle manoeuvres were performed on starboard and port sides with $35^{\circ}$ rudder angle at the service speed, and Zig-zag procedures were performed on both sides with $10^{\circ}$ and $20^{\circ}$ rudder angle respectively. Spiral tests were carried out on the both sides and crash stop test was also carried out. The results from tests could be compared directly with the standards of manoeuverability of IMO and consequently the manoeuvring qualities of the ship is fully satisfied with its.

'콘텐츠 관리시스템'을 이용한 N-스크린 서비스 (N-Screen Service Using Contents Management System)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 한계를 극복하고자, 하나의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 트랜스코딩 엔진을 이용하여 IPTV, WEB, Mobile, Smart Device 등에 서비스할 수 있는 콘텐츠 관리 시스템(CMS)을 개발한 사례를 소개한다. 개발된 CMS는 하나의 콘텐츠를 동시에 여러 개의 콘텐츠로 트랜스코딩하여 각 각의 디바이스에 자동으로 인지하여 최상의 콘텐츠를 서비스함으로써 CMS 추가 도입에 대한 부담감을 줄이고, 관리자의 개입을 최소화시킴으로써 효율적인 콘텐츠 관리를 할 수 있도록 설계 되었다. 스튜디오에서 제작된 콘텐츠에 대한 자동화시스템과 모바일에서 촬영된 영상에 대한 자동관리 기능으로 활용에 중점을 두고 있으며, 추후 콘텐츠 생산에 대한 기능을 추가함으로써 콘텐츠에 대한 One-Stop Service를 할 수 있도록 발전시켜갈 계획이다.

일반 노년층 파열음의 음향학적 특성 (Acoustic Characteristics of Stop Consonants in Normal Elderly)

  • Changes in speech production in normal elderly might be subtle and gradual. Therefore, an acoustic analysis is appropriate to identify the effect of aging on speech. For this purpose, this study examined four speech parameters; voice onset time (VOT), VOT range, $f_0$ of following vowel($f_0FV$), and $f_0FV$ difference in two age groups, old (mean age 74.57 yrs.) and young (m: 27.43 yrs.). The results show that compared to the older group the younger demonstrated significantly shorter VOTs in lenis and longer in aspirated stop. VOT ranges were relatively broad and consequently overlapped between the phonation types (e.g., lenis, fortis, aspirated). The $f_0FV$ values in the older group which are an integral parameter with VOT were lower compared with the young group. The $f_0FV$ differences in the old female group were significantly narrower than the young female group, therefore, clear distinction became difficult. In conclusion, contrast in temporal information was obscured, and the domain of glottal information was diminished on stop consonants in Korean elderly. The findings suggest that central/peripheral changes by aging could lead to a deficit in coordination between phonation and articulation.

수전해 설비에 대한 비상정지상황 발생 요인 도출 (Deduction of Emergency Stop Situation Factors for Water Electrolysis Facilities)

  • There are various types of hydrogen production methods, but among them, the alkaline water electrolysis method produces hydrogen by electrolyzing water, and unlike other methods, it can produce green hydrogen that does not emit pollutants and greenhouse gases. There are many different potential risk factors inherent in the water electrolysis process. So it is necessary to predict an emergency situation in advance and to safely manage and take countermeasures according to the emergency situation. Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS) CODE AH271 stipulates legal matters to secure safety, but it is not detalied. Thus it is necessary to take measures to safely control and manage it according to the situation in which an emergency stop is required. In this study, based on KGS CODE and HAZOP for alkaline water electrolysis facilities, factors that can cause emergency situations were derived and countermeasures were prepared.

A perception-based analysis of voice onset time (VOT) dissimilation in Korean

  • This study examines the perceptual motivation behind dissimilation. Consistent with previous arguments suggesting that dissimilation originates from perception rather than production (Coetzee, 2005; Kiparsky, 2003; Scheer, 2013), we hypothesized that an oral stop with short of voice onset time (VOT) would be recognized as non-aspirated more often when it is followed by an aspirated stop with a long VOT. This hypothesis was tested through a perception experiment in which 32 Korean listeners made judgments on the first consonant of C1VC2V words manipulated with C1 VOT and C2 types. The results revealed that aspirated-based C1 was recognized as aspirated or tense depending on the duration of VOT, while lenis-based C1 was consistently recognized as lenis. The dissimilatory effect of aspirated C2 was confirmed as anticipated, and furthermore, tense C2 increased the ratio of tense responses more than aspirated C2. These results provide evidence of a perceptual bias against recurrent aspirated stops, which may play a role in activating a dissimilatory rule or constraint in a language. The assimilatory effect of tense C2 is in consistent with findings indicating that word-initial tensification is facilitated by the following tense stop in Korean (Kang & Oh, 2016; H. Kim, 2016).

  • 한글의 파열자음(Plosive Consonants of stop consonants)인 ㄱ, R, ㅋ, ㅃ, ㅍ이나, ㄷ, ㄸ, ㅌ의 삼중 구별은 외국어에서는 찾아 볼수 없는 한글 고유의 특성이라고 생각되어 왔다. 이는 한국인 학자에게 뿐만 아니라 외국인 학자에게도 크나큰 관심사가 되어 왔다. 그 가장 큰 이유중의 하나가 소위 파열자음의 생리기전면에서 볼때, p,b나 k,g의 구별이 단순히 무성(Voiceless)대 유성(Voiced)의 차이냐 또는 근육의 힘의 차이냐 하는 문제가 오랫동안 국제학계에서 논난의 대상이 되어왔기 때문이다. 둘째로는 기이하게도 한글의 파열자음은 모두 무성자음으로 외국어에서 볼수있는 유성대 무성의 대조는 없으며, 다만 근육의 gal의 대조가 있지 않을까 생각되어 왔기 때문이다. 그러나 현재까지는 이 세가지 종류의 한글파열자음 발음시의 생리기전의 차이를 규명한 연구가 없었다. 저자는 이점에 착안하여 미국 위스컨신대학교 언어병리학 및 생리학 실험실에서 고도로 발달된 최신 연구기구를 이용하여 한글파열 자음 발음시의 생리기전의 차이를 규명하였다. 서론 연구방법, 연구결과, 결론에 관한 자세한 내용은 영문초록에 기술되어 있다.

Dynamic Responses of the TRU-loaded HYPER System

  • Accelerator Driven System (ADS) named HYPER(Hybrid Power Extraction Reactor) is being developed for the transmutation of nuclear waste in Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute(KAERI). The concept of the HYPER is using 1GeV proton to drive a subcritical core. HYPER system is believed to have much more stable dynamics than the critical system in terms of neutronics. However, the HYPER system is supposed to have some drawbacks for the cooling system accidents. Loss of Flow(LOF) and Loss of Heat Sink (LOHS) cause a strong damage. As results, those accidents would stop the power production in the critical system. On the other hand, the negative reactivity feedback could not stop the HYPER system because the HYPER is driven by an accelerator rather than reactivity.(omitted)

  • Wind turbine requires service life of about 20 years and each components of wind turbine requires high durability, because installation and maintenance costs are more expensive than generated electricity by wind turbine. So the design of wind turbine must be verified in various condition before production step. This paper demonstrates the application of a generic methodology, based on the flexible multibody simulation technique, for the dynamic analysis of a wind turbine and its drive train. The concern of the paper is the computation of dynamic loads of wind turbine in emergency-stop condition. The finite element model is used to analyse the dynamic behaviour of the wind turbine.

  • 홍보우편 서비스의 활성화와 효율적인 마케팅 캠페인을 위해서 GIS 및 시간/공간마이닝을 접목한 홍보우편 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 정확한 고객선정을 위해서 순차/주기패턴을 이용한 구매 성향 정보와 RFM 분석 및 군집화 기법을 이용한 라이프스타일 군집 정보를 제공한다. 제안한 홍보우편 시스템을 통해 원청업체는 고객의 요구사항에 맞는 마케팅 캠페인이 가능하며, 온라인상에서 고객 선정, 홍보물 제작 및 배달까지의 "one-stop" 서비스가 가능하다.

  • In these days, we are facing the needs of the times that the product have to be converted from quantity to quality. Most companys now pay more attention to maximize efficiency of facilities with introducing high priced equipments, those equipments are too automated and electronic that partial failure or short time stop leads to the stop of producing process in the whole factory. Consequently, effective maintenance management of production equipment becomes a only solution against problems. This thesis develops a preventive maintenance software that grasp a failure sign through daily inspection with management item, Machine-Capability index and estimate a trend, determine the time of preventive maintenance. The software is useful to the plant operator in analyzing information easily and controlling preventive maintenance operations efficiently.
