The subject is to find green roofs' location as stepping stones in green-network in fine scale. The study site is Junggu, Seoul, which has core areas(Bukaksan and Namsan) and green areas(parks, etc.). Through literature review, the closer to core areas and green areas, target species reach green roof easier, and target species must be avifauna(flying species) and high class in food chain, because of possibility of reaching. So, Great Tits, inhabited in Namsan and urban bird, is target species. The location standard of green roofs, realized birds' reaching distance, consists of home range(horizontal range and vertical range) and roof-greening capable area. The green roofs' distribution of location was resulted through GIS analysis of feasible site finding, and classified with weight of score. In discussion, Namsan gives more effect to locate green roofs than Bukaksan does and selected buildings which are grouped in some parts need to be managed with group, green roof district.

This paper introduces AmericaView, a consortium for promoting remote sensing education, research and applications. As a case study, GeorgiaView is described in more detail. The AmericaView Consortium and StateView Consortia are good examples of collaboration for broadening the horizon of remote sensing applications in South Korea. Furthermore, the AmericaView example represents an opportunity for building a stepping stone to international collaboration.

본 연구에서는 TCP Connection을 유지하는 Stepping Stone 형태의 공격을 역추적하기 위해 사용되는 패킷 워터마크를 검출하는 시스템의 구현에 대해서 기술하고 있다. 본 연구에서 사용한 패킷 워터마크는 Sleepy Watermark Tracing(SWT)에서 사용한 virtual null string 형태의 워터마크를 사용하였으며, 이러한 워터마크의 효율적인 탐지 및 분석하는 방법을 설계 구현하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 패킷 워터마크 검출 시스템의 실제 구현을 통하여 TCP Connection Traceback 형태의 침입자 역추적 시스템에 활용할 수 있다는 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explore 'Flow Experience' of those studying English speaking and listening in the e-Learning environment. The exploration of flow experience in this study is based on the literature research of Csikszentmihalyi's flow models and other studies. There have been many studies on flow experience focusing on arts, leisure and sports in accordance with Csikszentmihalyi's original theory, however, his flow theory has recently been adapted to the educational field. Nonetheless, it is in the e-learning environment, rather than the face-to-face traditional teaming environment, that there is not enough flow state measurement scale. Therefore, it is important to develop as a stepping stone a flow state scale for those who study English speaking and listening by the cyber-native-speaker on e-Learning environment to improve their satisfaction and achievement.

In the customer-centered era, financial institutions have understood the importance of Customer Relationship Management(CRM), and heavily invested into building the required technology infrastructure more than ever. In a competitive environment that are changing fast, knowledge management is necessary. To know customers' needs and desire, we have to approach their environment and mind, and the method by estimating in terms of supposing or imitating. Applying customers' knowledge is effective and will come up with a stepping-stone to get rid of threatening factors by having competitiveness in a competitive environment and extending and changing the corporation. This purpose, the study has identified knowledge-oriented infra that corporations know and customer relations by conducting a poll of local corporations and have presented motives that can effectively carry out knowledge-based customer relations. To gain competitive advantage, these Institutions need to understand their customers' potential value to find out more and to recognize the significant changes of customer. Then the CRM implementation will help Financial Institutions move to more of a sales culture away from product and closer to the customer.

The purpose of this study was to describe and understand experiences of surgical ward practice in nursing students. The interview data were collected from 9 nursing students and analyzed by using descriptive phenomenology of Colazzi. The procedural steps was that described the phenomenon of interest, collected participants' descriptions of the phenomenon, extracted the meaning of significant statement, organized the meaning into them clusters, wrote exhaustive descriptions and then incorporated data into categories. The essential meanings of surgical ward practice experiences of nursing students were as following; 'Permission of direct nursing practice', 'Professionality of nursing domain', 'Serving as a stepping stone of patients' nursing', and 'Sense of achievement to participating nursing'. The results of this study would provide for basic data of surgical ward practice program and have important implication for understanding field practice in nursing. So would contribute to develop nursing practice curriculum.

In this study. object transport method based on ultrasonic flexural vibration is presented. Ultrasonic vibration generates ultrasonic traveling waves on the surface of elastic medium. Objects are transported through the interaction with traveling waves propagating in medium. Two types of transport methods are studied： frictional drive and acoustic levitation. With frictional drive, objects are transported in contact with the beam in the opposite direction of wave propagation whereas with acoustic levitation, objects are acoustically levitated above the beam surface and transported in the wave propagation direction. Transport characteristics are experimentally investigated using objects of different shapes and sizes. The transition from acoustic levitation mode to frictional drive mode is also examined. and it is found to occur when the ratio of mass to area of an object exceeds the threshold ratio of mass to area. It is envisaged that this feasibility study will serve as a stepping-stone for ultrasonic vibration to become an effective industrial material handling device in the future.

We made a stepping stone for asthma study by analyzing an asthma-specific protein-protein interaction network. It follows the power-law degree distribution and its hub nodes and skeleton frame of the network agreed with the prior knowledge about asthma pathway. This study is providing a systematic approach to analyze the complex effect of genes or to represent the frame of their relations associated with specific disease.

Ecosystem health assessment is an emerging concept regarded as a useful diagnostic tool for evaluating ecosystems. The stability of ecosystem is the main theme in the assessment. Generally, two components - resilience and resistance - are involved in the mechanism of ecosystem stability. In this study, relative degrees of the resistance and the resilience were quantified for most aquatic Insects Inhabiting running waters in Korea. A total of 34 groups were newly categorized based on previous studies, and a conceptual model has been produced. The model was applied for the aquatic insect communities inhabiting different streams and demonstrated that each stream ecosystem possessed different degrees of stability. This study also indicated that it was possible to compare stabilities of different ecosystems using relative degrees of resilience and resistance. Using the conceptual model, suitable conservation and management strategies could be recommended in ecological assessments. The model can be used as a stepping-stone for developing more comprehensive methodology that objectively diagnoses and evaluates the ecosystem stability.
