  • The building site was presumed as the Howonjeokwon or the Dasiwonji established at the traffic route among western inland areas in old Pyeonghaegun. The groundwork was composed inclination terrace of two steps. The upper step was the territory of the main house of ceremony symbolic+lodging function and the down step was divided in the territory of both Ikrang-chae of boarding and lodging management function and the territory of Haengrang-chae pavilion of rest reception management. The building composition by each territory formed space differentiation with the line of flow according to the thorough rule of court rank. The arrangement composition set the strong center axis in tandem, and it was the building arrangement interpreting the territory and the rule of court rank by function as the relationship of master and servant and was the building type emphasizing on the whole unity with the geometric symmetry structure. The Dasiwonji and the Hyeeumwonji had the common point which is the traffic architecture of semi governmental management reinforcing the boarding lodging function in the place which a visitor stayed. The Haeeumwonji and Dasiwonji had the difference in the size, but was the same in the composition system of construction. The external space and the system of the line of flow decided from the functional territory separation and the hierarchical rank as thorough as the geometric arrangement focusing on the whole unity. Namely, it was the strict and unusual system of the line of flow depended on the thorough rule of court rank than the efficient approach or arrangement of the line of flow. After being established to be the Howonjeokwon at the end of Koryeo, it disappeared at the time of the invasion of Japanese pirates when it was the time of the King Woo in Koryeo. It is presumed that it was continued until both wars, Imjin Byeongja, ago after changing its name to the Dasiwon, being restored to the small size at the end of Koryeo at the early of Choseon.

  • Background Nipple-areolar complex (NAC) reconstruction is the final stage of breast reconstruction. Ideal reconstruction of the NAC requires symmetry in position, size, shape, texture, pigmentation, and permanent projection, and although many technical descriptions of NAC reconstruction exist in the medical literature, there is no gold standard technique. The technique devised by the authors is very versatile, with excellent results, and it enables 1-step reconstruction with optimal results in terms of shape and nipple projection. Methods Our technique consists of a combination of modified local flaps and a full-thickness skin graft. Patients were observed for 18 months to estimate the amount of retraction. This procedure was performed in 40 patients, four of them bilaterally. The duration of the follow-up was 30 months. Complications occurred in 10% of patients, and included infections (5%), ischemia (2.5%), and hematoma (2.5%). Results No cases of total nipple necrosis were reported. The NAC shape remained optimal in all cases, with a very small reduction of the vertical and horizontal diameters of the areola, which maintained its designed round shape well, and negligible retraction in the diameter and projection of the nipple. Conclusions The oval technique represents a major step forward, involving a combination of existing techniques, such as the C-V flap and the cutaneous graft, to achieve excellent results regarding areola shape and nipple projection, significantly reducing the cases of nipple ischemia. These results were substantially obtained through subcutaneous equatorial sutures, skin grafting, and flattening of the apexes of the flap.

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of isometric exercise on muscle activity and body balance ability in asymmetrical walkers. Research design, data, and methodology: Twenty gait asymmetry people were divided to unilateral exercise group (UG, n=10) and bilateral exercise group (BG, n=10). UG were performed unilateral exercise for 60 minutes, three times a week, and 16 weeks, and BG were performed one side and then the other side alternately for 60 minutes, three times a week, and 16 weeks. Muscle activity and body balance ability were measured before, after 4 and 16 weeks isometric exercise. Moreover, SI (symmetry index; SI) was calculated from the measured value of SL (step length). Statistical analyses were conducted using one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA with repeated measures, a paired t-test, and multiple comparisons according to Scheffe. Results: In the muscle activity, ST decreased significantly in short step length(S-SL) and BG of LS compared to before isometric exercise(p<.05), and GCM decreased significantly in BG of S-SL(p<.05). As for body balance ability, the mSEBT-A difference between L-SL and S-SL was decreased significantly in UG(p<.05). And the respective total scores of L-SL and S-SL, mSEBT-PM and mSEBT-PL were increased significantly in BG(p<.05). Conclusions: As a result, in this study above, it was confirmed that isometric exercise improved muscle activity and body balance ability in asymmetrical walkers.

  • Purpose: Walking in the dual-task condition is a critical skill for hemiplegic patients to live in real-life situations. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of dual-task gait training and general gait training on gait parameters and cognitive function in patients with chronic stroke during dual-task walking. Methods: The study included 23 patients with chronic hemiparetic stroke who were randomly divided into experimental (dual-task gait training) and control (general walking training) groups. The 11 subjects in the experimental group and nine subjects in the control group received dual-task gait training (walking while handling a ball, crossing obstacles, picking up various objects, and problem solving simple cognitive tasks and general over-ground gait training, respectively, for 30 minutes per day 5 days per week for 4 weeks. Spatiotemporal parameters and cognitive tasks in the dual-task gait condition were measured. Statistical analysis of the changes between the pre- and post-intervention measurement variables was performed using ANCOVA. Results: In the gait condition under cognitive tasks, the changes pre- and post-intervention in gait velocity, stride length, double support limb, and step symmetry were significantly greater in the dual-task gait training group; however, the dual-task gait training group showed no significant improvement compared to the general gait training group in terms of the assessment of cognitive tasks. Conclusion: The findings suggest that dual-task gait training may be beneficial for walking ability in dual-task walking condition.

  • The aim of this dissertation is inferring factors controlling the complex strain behavior of the material and the characteristics of the Fine-Blanking in the most narrow area at the shear zone where we are performing the Fine-Blanking. And also this is for inspecting and presenting their uses and the possibilities to make the results data based in order to utilize easily. Therefore, to analyze of shere zone's strain behaviour, the Fine-Blanking process need to be modelled defining the quadratic-nodded and axi-symmetrical elements as the problems of large deformation axi-symmetry and the non-linear contact. For the method of inputting strain-stress values of the material, the piece-wise linear technics were used, the Implicit-Finite Element method also used making balance of forces on each step by the long intervals, calculates and converges many times was done. The materials used for the analysis was the Steel SNCM220 5.5mm respectively. As the result of FEM analysis, we know that shear stress value in the beginning of punch penetration is distributed widely and done high both in the center of the late-thickness and on the both sides centering around shear strain zone as the punch penetration is increasing. • Silicon flow sensor that can detect the velocity and direction of air flow was designed and fabricated by integrated circuit process and bulk micromachining technique. The flow sensor consists of three-layered dielectric diaphragm, a heater at the center of the diaphragm, and four thermopiles surrounding the heater at each side of diaphragm as sensing elements. This diaphragm structure contributes to improve the sensitivity of the sensor due to excellent thermal isolation property of dielectric materials and their tiny thickness. The flow sensor has good axial symmetry to sense 2-D air flow with the optimized sensing position in the proposed structure. The sensor is fabricated using CMOS compatible process followed by the anisotropic etching of silicon in KOH and EDP solutions to form I$\mu$ m thick dielectric diaphragm as the last step. TCR(Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) of the heater of the fabricated sensors was measured to calculate the operating temperature of the heater and the output voltage of the sensor with respect to flow velocity was also measured. The TCR of the polysilicon heater resistor is 697ppm/K, and the operating temperature of the heater is 331$^{\circ}C$ when the applied voltage is 5V. Measured sensitivity of the sensor is 18.7mV/(m/s)$^{1/2}$ for the flow velocity of smaller than 10m/s.

  • We present a one-dimensional annular plate element with which the in-plane vibration of full disks can be analyzed efficiently and accurately by using the FEM. Its elementary mass matrix and stiffness matrix are derived, respectively, from the virtual work by effective forces and the virtual strain energy. The static deformation modes obtained from an integration of the differential equilibrium equations of the annular plate are used as interpolation functions of the one-dimensional annular plate element. The in-plane natural vibration characteristics of a 2-step full disk and a uniform full disk are analysed. Its results are compared with the results obtained by utilizing two-dimensional 8-node quadrilateral plane elements and cyclic symmetry of the disk. And also, by comparing with the theoretical results of previous researchers, the efficiency and accuracy of the presented element are verified.

  • The extended Born, or localized nonlinear approximation of integral equation (IE) solution has been applied to inverting single-hole electromagnetic (EM) data using a cylindrically symmetric model. The extended Born approximation is less accurate than a full solution but much superior to the simple Born approximation. When applied to the cylindrically symmetric model with a vertical magnetic dipole source, however, the accuracy of the extended Born approximation is greatly improved because the electric field is scalar and continuous everywhere. One of the most important steps in the inversion is the selection of a proper regularization parameter for stability. Occam's inversion (Constable et al., 1987) is an excellent method for obtaining a stable inverse solution. It is extremely slow when combined with a differential equation method because many forward simulations are needed but suitable for the extended Born solution because the Green's functions, the most time consuming part in IE methods, are repeatedly re-usable throughout the inversion. In addition, the If formulation also readily contains a sensitivity matrix, which can be revised at each iteration at little expense. The inversion algorithm developed in this study is quite stable and fast even if the optimum regularization parameter Is sought at each iteration step. Tn this paper we show inversion results using synthetic data obtained from a finite-element method and field data as well.

(Variable Time Step and Spatial step법) 모델링이 되었다.
