TV 속에 나타난 식생활관련 정보의 모니터 사례 분석 (The monitoring Case Analysis of Nutrition-related Programs Presented on Television Broadcast Media)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze information about food and nutrition topics presented throughout the television broadcast media, thereby suggest the optimal communication method to give right information to the general public. To perform this study, total sixteen monitoring people were recruited and trained through monitoring practice before and during the study . Five domestic TV channels were selected to be monitored, for six months. For the best efficiency, all the monitoring people were divided into 8 teams based on the regional consideration. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SAS program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the total reporting cases of information about foods and nutrition were 237 , among which about 30% was classified as appropriate and 70% as inappropriate based on the trained monitors' evaluation. Second, the analysis of contents about incorrect informations showed that the insufficient descriptions of terminology and contents were the highest. And insufficient scientific evidences, incorrect contents excessively entertainment-oriented, no provision of alternatives , improper selection of expert advisors were followed. These results suggest that systematical monitoring should be continued to reduce the frequency of incorrect communication thereby give the right information in food and nutrition area to the general public. And there should be a closely cooperated system to provide the professional information to broadcasting production team by establishing the strategic program. In order to do that, most importantly the advisory team should be organized to professionally connect mass media to corresponding specialists. In addition, more educational programs about food and nutrition should be developed to provide right information to the general public.

자연재해 평가를 위한 방재기상 DB 정보 (Prevention Meteorological Database Information for the Assessment of Natural Disaster)

  • 자연재해로부터 야기되는 피해를 줄이고 자연재해저감활동을 전개하기 위해서는 기상정보와 재해자료에 근거한 정확한 예보와 방재활동이 요구된다. 또한 사전방재활동을 위해서는 방재기상정보로의 처리가 필요하다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 행정자치부에서 발행하는 통계연보와 재해연보, 중앙재해대책본부에서 발행한 최근 10년간 자연재해 피해 현황, 기상청에서 발행한 기상연보를 이용하였다. 이들 4가지 자료를 이용하여 자연재해의 원인과 피해요소, 발생빈도, 취약지역 등을 분석하였는데, 이들 자료는 피해내역과 기상현상에 대한 분류 및 용어가 일치하지 않으므로, 재해의 종류와 피해액을 비교 분석한 결과, 기상재해 원인과 피해 요소, 피해액, 피해지역 등과 같은 재해 변수를 선정하고, 재해연보를 이용하여 database를 구축하였다. 이렇게 구축된 database는 앞으로 자연재해 저감계획과 risk model을 개발하고 자연재해를 평가하는데 유용하게 쓰일 수 있다.

How to Improve Eating Behaviour during Early Childhood

  • Eating behaviour disorder during early childhood is a common pediatric problem. Many terminologies have been used interchangeably to describe this condition, hindering implementation of therapy and confusing a common problem. The definition suggests an eating behaviour which has consequences for family harmony and growth. The recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition does not cover the entire spectrum seen by pediatricians. Publications are substantive but level of evidence is most of the time low. This purpose of this review is to clarify terminology of eating behaviour problems during early childhood; including benign picky eating, limited diets, sensory food aversion, selective eating, food avoidance emotional disorder, pervasive refusal syndrome, tactile defensiveness, functional dysphagia, neophobia and toddler anorexia. This tool is proposed only to ease the clinical management for child care providers. Diagnostic criteria are set and management tools are suggested. The role of dietary counselling and, where necessary, behavioural therapy is clarified. It is hoped that the condition will make its way into mainstream pediatrics to allow these children, and their families, to receive the help they deserve.

기계학습에 기반한 생의학분야 전문용어의 자동인식 (Machine-Learning Based Biomedical Term Recognition)

  • 일정 분야의 문서들에서 그 분야 특정을 반영하는 전문용어를 자동으로 인식하는 연구에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. '전문용어 인식'은 문서에서 전문용어가 될 수 있는 언어적 단위를 파악하는 '용어 추출' 과정과 '용어추출' 과정에서 얻어진 용어목록 중 해당분야의 전문용어를 고르는 '전문용어 선택' 과정으로 구성된다. '전문용어 선택' 과정은 용어목록을 전문용어의 특정에 따라 순위화한 후 타당한 전문용어를 파악하는 작업으로 정의된다. 따라서 전문용어 선택 문제는 용어목록의 순위화 작업과 순위화된 목록에서 전문용어와 비전문용어 간의 경계를 인식하는 작업으로 정의된다. 기존의 전문용어 선택 기법은 주로 용어의 빈도수 등과 같은 통계적 특정만을 이용하였다. 하지만 통계적 특정만으로는 효과적으로 전문용어를 선택하기 어렵다. 본 논문의 논제는 전문용어 선택에서 다양한 전문용어의 특정을 고려하고 이들 중 전문용어 선택에서 효과적인 특정을 찾으려는 것이다. 순위화 문제는 다양한 전문용어 특정을 도출하고 이들을 기계학습방법으로 통합하여 해결한다. 경계인식 문제는 전문용어와 비전문용어의 이진 분류 문제로 정의하고 기계학습방법으로 해결한다. 본 논문의 기법은 경계인식측면에서 78-86%의 정확률과 87% -90%의 재현율을 나타내었으며, 순위화 측면에서 89%-92%의 11포인트 평균정확률을 나타내었다. 또한 기존 연구보다 최고 26% 의 성능향상을 보였다.

지상파 TV 방송프로그램에 나타난 식품영양정보의 질적 분석(2002-2003년) - 뉴스, 건강정보 프로그램, 드라마 (Qualitative Analysis of Food and Nutrition Informations offered in Television Programs(year 2002-2003) -Newscastings, Health Information Programs and Dramas)

  • The study aimed to perform the qualitative analysis of food and nutrition informations offered in TV program by monitoring newscastings, health-related programs giving food and nutrition information, dramas for family, education programs for children, and information programs for elderly in major TV broadcasting station(KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS). In this study, statistical analysis were done for numbers of information items related to health or food and nutrition informations. Duration of program the main, subject, sources, evaluation criteria of the contents. Results of qualitative monitoring for TV program are as follows. For health-related informations major propotions of subjects for the newscastings were about diseases. Those for health information programs were about foods. Those for children-education programs were about groceries. Those for seniors’ information programs were about eating habits. The analysis of food and nutrition information sources for most of programs were interviews with specialist and normal person, and on-the-spot-investingations. For food and nutrition informations those were evaluated as inappropriate, the propotion of news was increased to 72.2% in 2003 from 49.3% in 2002. For health information programs, it was increased to 67.7% in 2003 from 54.0% in 2002. But, in drama the propotion of inappropriate scenes were decreased to 16.2% in 2003 from 63.2% in 2002. In children-education programs, it was 40.0%. In seniors’ information programs, it was 17.9% in 2002. The propotion of cases that the quantity of foods is inappropriate in the food scene of serial drama, decreased to 15.8% in 2003 from 28.6% in 2002. The rate of drinking scenes increased to 11.5% from 10.7%. The rate of smoking scenes decreased to 0.2% from 1.6% due to the broadcasting self-regulation of smoking scenes in dramas. In the newscatings and information programs, reasons of being evaluated as inappropriate was that they didn’t have any practical suggestions and proper intakes. There were also insufficient explanation for technical terminology, different comparison standard of nutritive value, and exaggeration for physiological effect of food. The drama contained a lot of unnecessary scenes of alcohol drinking, coffee drinking, midnight meal, and had more quantity of foods than the quantity needed for persons to the scene. As the result of this study, the rate of food and nutrition information were high, but the rate of information which was evaluate as appropriate was not sufficient. There are need to improve contents of information and to moniter the contents for consumer.

한국 영.유아의 대소변 가리기 훈련습성에 관한 일 연구 (STATISTICAL STUDY ON HABITUAL METHODS Of TOILET TRAINING FOR INFANT AND TODDLER)

  • This study observed on habitual methods of toilet training for infants and toddlers in Korea thru 300 mothers at four medical institutions Ewha Woman′s University Hospital, Ewha Maternal and Child Health Center, Severance Hospital and Seoul National University Hospital) with a design to analyze beginning time, duration of period, methods employed, motives, equipments used, special terminology used for the subject training. The main purpose of this study was to generalize the proper methods of toilet training, and also to contribute a better psychological education for the mother and child. The results obtained from this study were as follows; 1. Majority of (67.3%) observed were in the age category between 30 and 40 years, and dominant numbers (64.7%) were housewives with high level of education and from middle class family background. 2. In the most cases (85%), toilet training was carried out by mothers(including wives who had a job) while more than half of mothers (53.7%) maintained their important motive for the training was "due to having high regard for cleanliness" 3. As for the time of beginning toilet training: finding indicated that starting period was decided (70%) at inconsiderate desertion of each mother. whereas, only minority group (30%) represents the cases where mother started the training when they consider tile child was physically and psychologically randy. Also greater number (77.7%) started bladder training prior to that of bowel. 4. It is noticeable that in course of training a large number of mothers (48.3%) applied strict training method when the child proper talenting, and the more rigid and strict in tile training. the more malformation of personality of the infant and toddler were seen after the training period (P<0.01). 5. Over the half of the total cases denoted (bowel 54.3%, bladder 67.7%) starting period before one year and in most cases (bowel 79.3%, bladder 729)the training was accomplished within 12 month, and therefore it was noted that earlier start(before 1 year) shortened the training period (with 12 month) . There was no significant difference between male and female infants in both starting period and duration of period in bladder training, however, in bowel training there was a tendency that female started earlier(7-12 months needed, 51.4%) than tile male (13-18 months needed, largest number 41.4%), and also in cases of female the period for needed for training were shorter than the cases of male. 6. Many a number (bowel 50.3%, bladder 97.7%) employed the method of continuous talenting at regular interval in accordance with that of child′s habit formed before training. Equipment used were various kinds, however, pieces of paper for male (45.5%) and piss pot or bedpost (42.3%) for female were common, on the other hand, "Eung-ga" for defecation (52.3%) and "Shii" for the urination (95.3%) were most standard expression that used during the training period.

자동차전기 과목의 '전조등 과제' 에서 회로수리능력 향상에 관한 연구 (Study on Improvement of Circuit Repairing Abilities through Headlight Assignment on Automotive Electronics Subject)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 회로수리능력을 정의하고, 회로수리능력을 준비능력, 탈부착능력, 회로분석능력, 점검 및 측정능력, 수리(문제해결)능력, 정리능력의 6가지 하위요인으로 구분하며, 하위요인을 기준으로 선정된 전조등 과제에서 도출된 학습자 목표도달 준거의 적합성을 검증받아 이를 바탕으로 학습자의 회로수리능력의 향상을 검증하는데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전문가집단의 검증을 받고, 실험 설계를 통하여 학습자 집단에 회로수리능력의 향상정도를 측정하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계 평균값, Cronbach ${\alpha}$ 계수, t 검증을 실시하였다. t 검증의 유의수준은 p<.05로 하였다. 이 연구를 실시한 결과 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자동차 전기 장치에 대한 고장을 정비하는 능력으로 '회로수리능력' 용어의 사용은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 회로수리능력의 하위요인인 준비능력, 탈부착능력, 회로분석능력, 점검 및 측정능력, 수리(문제해결)능력, 정리능력의 구분은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학습자 목표도달 준거를 바탕으로 작성된 전조등 과제 실습지시서는 일반적인 실습보다 학습자의 회로수리능력의 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학습자 목표도달 준거를 바탕으로 작성된 전조등 과제의 실습지시서는 회로수리능력의 하위요인 준비능력, 탈부착능력, 회로분석능력, 점검 및 측정능력, 수리(문제해결)능력, 정리능력 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

실천적인 영양교육 프로그램 (KHIDIKIDS)을 통한 초등학교 저학년생의 식생활 태도 및 식습관 향상 (Application of a Practical Nutrition Education Program, KHIDIKIDS, for the Improvement of Dietary Attitudes and Habits of Elementary Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve the dietary attitudes and habits of elementary students in lower classes through a 12-week practical nutrition education program called KHIDIKIDS, which was developed by Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) in 2004 based on the 2003 Children's Dietary Guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea. KHIDIKIDS has never been applied in the field, therefore, another purpose of this study was to evaluate the program in the school education and suggest the ideas for the improvement. KHIDIKIDS was applied to a class of 2nd-grade elementary students consisting of 28 children in Seoul during the fall semester of 2005, and the effect of the program was measured by using questionnaires for the students and their parents. The statistical analysis of the study was conducted by using SPSS WIN 11.5 program, and the results were as follows: The children's knowledge on nutrition was improved significantly by KHIDIKIDS education (p<.001), such that the average score on nutritional knowledge increased from 8.32 to 9.64 after education. This practical nutrition education program also improved the dietary attitudes and habits of children especially in healthy body weight, daily exercise, and having breakfast (p<.05). Parents also showed very positive responses for the nutrition education. During the application of KHIDIKIDS in the field, the followings were indicated for adjustment, First, some education content of the week was too much to be finished in a class hour and more hours need to be allocated. Second, some terminology need to be adjusted to help the students understand easily. Thirdl, the order of the's Basic Food Groups' needs to be matched with the order of each food group in the 'Food Tower' not to make children be confused. Above results showed that KHIDIKIDS was effective for the improvement of dietary attitudes and habits of lower elementary students. However, further educational effects would be achieved when the education was started from the 1st to higher grades along with the parents' participation.

초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 운영 실태 조사 - 경기지역 초등학교 학부모 인식을 중심으로 (Survey on Status of Operation of After-School Science Activities in Elementary School - Focus on Elementary School Parents' Perception in Gyeonggi Province)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동 운영 실태를 파악하고 특기적성 과학실험에 공개수업에 참여한 학부모를 대상으로 프로그램에 대한 인식을 조사하여 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동이 성공적으로 운영될 수 있는 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 관내 809개 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동 안내장을 수합해 강좌명, 수강료, 재료비, 수업시수의 운영 실태를 조사하였고, 공개수업에 참여한 학부모 36명을 대상으로 프로그램에 대한 인식을 설문지 결과로 분석했다. 인식조사는 설문지를 사용하였는데, 이는 2013년도 한국과학창의재단 생활과학교실 고객만족도 설문지를 수정 보완하여 초안을 개발하였고, 과학교육 관련 교수 1인과 과학교육 관련 석사 과정 12인에게 자문을 구하여 설문 내용의 타당성 및 용어 등에 대한 의견을 얻어 최종 설문지를 완성한 것이다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석했다. 연구 결과를 종합해 보면, 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동이 활성화되기 위한 방안을 다음과 같이 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동이 활성화될 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 교육 수요자(학부모)의 요구를 꾸준히 파악하고 반영해야 한다. 둘째, 초등학교 방과후 과학관련 특기적성 교육활동이 지속적으로 활성화되기 위해서는 교육 수요자(학부모)의 요구와 선택을 반영한 과학프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.

중등학교 상관관계 지도 내용 개선을 위한 가추적 실증 연구 (An empirical study for a better curriculum reform of statistical correlation based on an abduction)

  • 본 연구는, 2007년 개정 교육과정에서 중3과정의 상관관계 내용변화가 삭제보다는 개선이 더 나았을 것이라는 점과 피아제의 인지발달 이론 중에서 논리적 사고 유형 6가지의 발달 모두를 학교 교육이 도와야 한다는 가정의 두 전제에서 출발한다. 본 연구에서는 7차 교육과정 이전에 다루던 상관관계는 피아제가 생각했던 6가지 중의 하나가 아님을 밝히고, 그 주된 원인이 심리학, 교육학, 통계학 등의 학문간 용어 차이로 인한 소통 오류였다고 추측 판단할 수 있는지 해당 학문 분야들의 대학 교재들을 비교 분석하였다. 이 과정에서 얻어진 지식과 결과를, 앞의 두 가지 전제에 비추어 보아, 장차 상관관계가 우리 교육과정에 다시 도입될 경우를 대비하여, 외국 교과서와 비교 검토를 통해 상관관계의 교육과정에 대한 시사점을 찾아보고자 하였다. 예측했던 대로 교육학에서 상관관계의 개념은 지나치게 포괄적이어서 거의 모든 관계가 다 상관관계라고 할 수 있었고, 통계학에서는 그 구분이 매우 엄격하였다. 가장 중요한 연구 결과는, 본 연구를 통해 알게 된 용어의 차이들을 반영하여 우리는 상관관계와 종속관계, 그리고 기타관계 등을 엄격히 구분하여 교육과정에 반영할 필요가 있으며, 외국교과서와 같은 상관관계의 재도입을 생각한다면 회귀직선 활용을 도입하여 일차함수 단원과의 연계를 고려하자는 것이 본 연구의 가장 중요한 제안 사항이다.
