국내정수장의 잔류염소농도에 대한 조사연구 (Statistical Analysis of Chlorine Residual in Korean Drinking Water)

  • Maintaining adequate chlorine residual is crucial in water treatment facilities, Treatment technique, newly promulgated regulation, requires sufficient disinfection in order to control more resistant microorganisms such as Viruses and Giardia lamblia. Each water treatment plant should report various water qualities including chlorine residual and disinfection by-products, thus plenty of data has been generated. Even though statistical analysis using these data are forced to investigate the status and effect of water qualities in water facilities very few researches have been performed in korea. This study performed statistical analysis of chlorine residual during three years in Korean drinking water. The average chlorine residual concentrations were 0.701mg/L, 0.738mg/L, 0.763mg/L in 2002, 2003, 2004, respectively. Monthly variations of chlorine residual was not significant. ANOVA result showed that yearly variance of chlorine residual is different in only less than $5000m^3/day$ of water treatment capacity. The statistical analysis can help government to establish new regulation with scientific basis.

파랑 통계자료의 특성과 신뢰성 검토 (The Characteristics of Wave Statistical Data and Quality Assurance)

  • This paper discusses the influence on long-tenn predictions of the ship response in ocean by using the Global Wave Statistics data, GWS, and wave information from the remote sensing satellites. GWS's standard scatter diagrams of significant wave height and zero-crossing wave period are suggested to be corrected to a round number of 0.01/1000 fitted with a statistical analytic model of the conditional lognormal distribution for zero-crossing wave period. The GEOSAT satellite data are utilized which presented by I. R. Young and G. J. Holland (1996, named as GEOSAT data). At first, qualities of this data are investigated, and statistical characteristic trends are studied by means of applying known probability distribution functions. The wave height data of GEOSAT are compared to the data observed onboard merchant ships, the data observed by measure instrument installed on the ocean-going container ship and so on. To execute a long-tenn prediction of ship response, joint probability functions between wave height and wave period are introduced, therefore long-term statistical predictions are executed by using the functions.

  • Many motion object detection algorithms rely on the process of background subtraction, an important technique that is used for detecting changes from a model of the background scene. This paper propose a novel method to update the background model image of a visual surveillance system which is not stationary. In order to do this, we use a background model based on statistical qualities of monitored images and another background model that excluded motions. By comparing each changed area computed from the two background model images and current monitored image, the areas that will be updated are decided.

A Wavelet-based Yarn Quality Assessment for Fabric Visual Qualities

  • Random and/or periodic defects occur in all spun yarns. These irregularities can often lead to defects in finished fabric. Yarn evenness tests are used to obtain statistical data about yarn properties, such as CV%, which is useful in comparing several sets of similar data that differ in mean value but may have some commonality in relative variation. Although this statistical data is helpful in determining relative yam quality, accurate predictions of how the yarn will appear in fabric form are still difficult to obtain. As an promising alterative, wavelet analysis has been employed to localize yarn defect so as to predict the visual qualities of the fabrics.

어업조사통계의 품질진단과 개선에 관한 연구 (Quality Diagnosis and Improvement of Fisheries Census Statistic)

  • The paper aims to evaluate the quality of fisheries census statistic and to provide some desirable directions and improvements for the future fisheries census, conducted by the Government. For the quality diagnosis of fisheries census statistic, specific processes of fisheries census and statistical qualities of each dimension are surveyed and evaluated by a Government's practician, two external examiners and a research group. Results show that census design, data analysis and quality control are evaluated relatively low in specific processes, and accessibility and comparability are evaluated relatively lower than relevance, accuracy, timeliness and consistency in statistical qualities. For minimizing the sampling errors, the probability proportion method should be employed in sampling methods from currently simple sampling method. In addition, fisheries census statistic is desirable to include and compare with those of different countries for consumer oriented data system.

공공서비스 중간고객의 품질, 만족, 신뢰의 인과모형 분석 (Analyzing the Causal Relationship between Qualities, Satisfaction, and Trust in Public Services: an Intermediary Customer Perspective)

  • From the perspective of employees working for public service agencies, we analyzed the causal relationship between service quality, relationship quality, design quality, customer satisfaction, and trust in public services. We conduct statistical analyses on the quality attributes we derived from a critical incident technique(CIT) analysis and build a measurement model, which has a second-order hierarchical structure. Survey data was collected from social work, childcare, and healthcare services. Using a structural equation modeling method, we identify a causal model and simultaneously estimate factor loadings and path coefficients. We find that all the quality dimensions are antecedents to satisfaction and then satisfaction precedes trust. The results show that service quality and design quality mediate in parallel the effect of relationship quality on satisfaction and both relationship and design qualities have stronger effects on satisfaction rather than service quality.

  • 영상의 품질을 측정하는 것은 영상처리에서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 지금까지 영상 품질을 측정하기 위한 다양한 방법들이 제시되었고, 이들은 수학적인 관점에서 영상의 품질을 적절히 표현해주고 있다. 그러나, 수학적인 측정과 인간의 시각에 의해서 측정되는 품질은 서로 다를 수 있고 영상이 전달되는 최종 대상체는 인간의 시각이기 때문에 이를 고려한 영상품질 측정 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사람의 시각적 특성을 고려하여 영상 품질을 측정할 수 있는 통계적 방법을 제시하였다. 사람의 시각은 영상의 전체적인 품질을 판단하면서도 국부적인 위치에서의 품질을 판단하며, 전체적인 영상의 품질보다는 국부적인 위치에서의 품질이 시각적인 영상품질 판단에 미치는 영향이 크다. 본 논문에서는 영상을 세그먼트화하고 각 세그먼트화된 영상에서 얻어진 영상 품질 값에 스코어링을 하는 통계적 기법을 사용하여 시각에 의한 판단과 유사한 결과를 얻었다.

롤투롤 슬롯-다이 대면적 코팅 공정 최적화를 위한 통계적 모델링 방법 (A Statistical Analysis for Slot-die Coating Process in Roll-to-roll Printed Electronics)

  • Recent advances in printing technology have increased the productivity of the roll-to-roll (R2R) printing process for printed circuitry. In the R2R printed electronics, characteristics of printed and coated layers are one of the most important issues that determine the functional quality of final products. The slot-die technology can coat a large area with high uniformity using low-viscosity materials; determining the process parameters is important to obtain excellent coating qualities. In this study, a viscocapillary model was used to predict qualities of coated layers and patterns. On the basis of analysis results, a novel meta model was derived using design of experiment methodology to improve accuracy. Sensitivity analysis was performed to define major parameters in R2R slot-die coating process. The coating speed was found to most significantly affect the coated layer thickness and was easily controlled. The performance of the proposed model is verified through experimental studies. Based on the statistical analysis results, R2R slot die process can be optimized to guarantee a desired thickness.

피부미용실의 서비스품질이 고객만족과 전환장벽에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Service Quality on Switching Barrier and Customer Satisfaction in Skin Care Shop)

  • This study is conducted to verify out whether any important differences can be made with factors of service qualities by the population statistics and trait of skin care shops. And this study is conducted to find out the relation that service qualities may influence on switching barrier and customer satisfaction. For this study, 396 questionnaires were used which had been returned from the customers of the skin care shops of Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungchyung provinces from 15th April to fifth May, 2013. To analyze above data, frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, factor analysis, regression analysis are carried out by using an SPSS 18.0 statistical package. The results are as follows : The features of services of the skin care shops are analyzed into four factors which were Assurance, Materiality, Responsiveness, Agreeability. The features of switching barrier are analyzed into three factors which are Alternative attractiveness, Interpersonal relationship, Switching cost. There are important differences in the concept four service qualities of skin care shops by the features of the statistics of population according to sex, marriage, monthly income and the types of job. The four features of service qualities of the skin care shops have positive influences on the three features of switching barrier - Assurance, Responsiveness, Agreeability and the three features of customer satisfaction - Assurance, Materiality, Agreeability. Through this study, We can have the conclusion that the switching barrier made by the building up the qualities of service can prevent the customers from dropping away.
