무궁화위성의 궤도재배치에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Station Relocation of the Koreasat)

  • 일반적으로 궤도재배치는 주어진 시간동안 현재 경도에서 목표 경도로 옮기는 작업이며, 궤도재배치 기동은 표류제도 기동과 목표제도 기동으로 나누어진다. 정지궤도 위성은 지구비대칭에 의한 중력장 때문에 동서방향의 표류에 끊임없이 영향을 받는다. 따라서 기동을 계획할 때, 이러한 영향을 고려하지 않는다면 위성은 성공적으로 궤도재배치 되지 않을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기동시각과 delta-V를 구하기 위해서 선형화된 궤도전이 방정식을 사용하여 구하였으며, 궤도재배치를 수행할 경우 위성들간의 접근여부를 확인하기 위하여 비선형 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

기상관측소의 이전이 계절평균 일교차의 균질성에 미치는 영향 (The Relocation Effect of Observation Station on the Homogeneity of Seasonal Mean of Diurnal Temperature Range)

  • The relocation effect of observation station (REOS) on the homogeneity of seasonal mean of maximum and minimum temperature, diurnal temperature range (DTR) and relative humidity (RH) was investigated using surface observation data and document file. Twelve stations were selected among the 60 stations which have been operated more than 30 years and relocated over one time. The data from Chunpungryeong station were used as a reference to separate the impacts of station relocation from the effects caused by increased green house gases, urbanization, and others. The REOS was calculated as a difference between REOS of relocated station and REOS of reference station. Although the REOS is clearly dependent on season, meteorological elements, and observing stations, statistically significant impacts are found in many stations, especially the environment of observing station after relocation is greatly changed. As a result, homogeneity of seasonal mean of meteorological elements, especially DTR and RH, is greatly reduced. The results showed that the effect of REOS, along with the effect of urbanization, should be eliminated for the proper estimation of climate change from the analysis of long-term observation data.

시뮬레이션을 활용한 편도 카쉐어링 시스템의 최적 운영 조건 및 차량 재배치 알고리즘에 대한 연구 (Simulation of One-way Carsharing Systems : Operating Parameters and Relocation Policy Analysis)

  • The concept of carsharing involves sharing a small number of reserved cars to be used individually by a larger number of people as required. This study examines the operating parameters of one-way carsharing systems in order to determine the appropriate operating conditions that minimizes the lost sales rate. Five operating parameters are tested in this study: the number of stations, the average number of vehicles per station, the rate of one-way trip, the average number of staffs per station, and the relocation policy. The performance of round-trip carsharing systems is also compared to that of one-way carsharing systems. A simulation model is developed and simulations are performed to determine the appropriate combination of operating parameter and levels. The simulation results show that the average number of vehicles per station is the most critical parameter. Other key findings obtained from this research are as follows. First, applying the appropriate relocation policy to one-way carsharing systems can allow more customers to rent vehicles than the traditional round-trip carsharing systems. Second, the appropriate relocation policy should be selected based on the average number of vehicles per station in order to minimize the lost sales rate. Third, the number of stations does not affect the lost sales rate. This study findings will provide tools to understand impact of the carsharing system parameters on the efficiency of the carsharing operations.

Practical method to improve usage efficiency of bike-sharing systems

  • Bicycle- or bike-sharing systems (BSSs) have received increasing attention as a secondary transportation mode due to their advantages, for example, accessibility, prevention of air pollution, and health promotion. However, in BSSs, due to bias in bike demands, the bike rebalancing problem should be solved. Various methods have been proposed to solve this problem; however, it is difficult to apply such methods to small cities because bike demand is sparse, and there are many practical issues to solve. Thus, we propose a demand prediction model using multiple classifiers, time grouping, categorization, weather analysis, and station correlation information. In addition, we analyze real-world relocation data by relocation managers and propose a relocation algorithm based on the analytical results to solve the bike rebalancing problem. The proposed system is compared experimentally with the results obtained by the real relocation managers.

  • 여객역(旅客驛)이 대개 도심(都心)에 위치(位置)하고 있는 탓으로 도시(都市)의 성장(成長)과 함께 교통혼잡(交通混雜)의 요인(要因)이 되고 있다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 부산(釜山)을 예(例)로 하여 여객역(旅客驛)의 입지(立地)에 대한 대안(代案)을 설정(設定)하고 시내통행(市內通行) 및 시외연계(市外連繫) 접근통행별(接近通行別)로 통행발생(通行發生), 통행배분(通行配分), 수단선역(手段選擇), 노선배정(路線配定)의 모의실험(模擬實驗) 과정(過程)을 통하여 여객역(旅客驛)의 입지(立地)가 도시교통체계(都市交通體系)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 비교(比較) 분석(分析)하였다.

교과교실형 운영을 위한 중등학교 교사공간 재배치 요인 분석 (An Analysis about Factors on the Facilities Relocation Based on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools)

  • This study was carried out to obtain basic data for architectural plans about factors on the facilities relocation needed in management of variation type. For this, floor plans of thirteen middle schools located in Korea and Japan were compared. The results showed a successful conversion to block system according to each subject after remodeling in the schools of our country, however, a monotonous spacial composition excluded other spaces such as media space, teachers' station and preparation room was also shown. These mentioned spaces were important factors in the investigated schools of Japan. By the results of the spacial composition about each space required to the management of variation type, a space share of supplemental areas for learning activities and movement, had shown comparatively low share before remodeling, was improved to 6% and 11.6%, respectively. However, the spacial share of two areas were 16.8% and 12.9%, respectively, in the schools of Japan and it meant the distribution of area was more even than the cases of our country.

일제강점기 관찰부 이전(移轉) 후 관련건축물의 변화에 관한 연구 -수원과 충주를 중심으로- (Changes of Gyeonggi and Chungbuk Provincial Office Buildings after Relocation during Japanese Colonial Period -focusing on Suwon and Chungju-)

  • This study examines changes and features of provincial office buildings in Suwon and Chungju after relocation during Japanese occupation. Gyeonggi and Chungbuk provincial offices(Gwanchalbu) were relocated by Japan. Gyeonggi Provincial Office in Suwon used HwaseongHaenggung buildings and moved to Seoul in 1910. After relocation, most of HwaseongHaenggung buildings used for Suwon Governmental hospital(JaHye Uiwon). Suwongun Office, Suwon public elementary school, Japanese Military and Suwon Police station also used HwaseongHaenggung buildings with the Hospital. At first, Japan remodeled local government buildings for their use. Most of HwaseongHaenggung buildings had been destroyed to build new buildings since 1920s. Chungbuk Provincial office in Chungju used DongHeon building which is Chungju local government building and relocated to Cheongju in 1908. DongHeon building changed to Chungju county office after relocation. This building was renovated. Chungju county office moved to other site, this building was used for Chungju county conference room. During Japanese colonial period, Suwon local government buildings were destroyed and replaced with new Japanese style buildings. Chungju local government buildings were also renovated or destroyed.

도시철도 역사개선에 관한연구 (A study on the subway-station improvement of metropolitan subway)

  • Subway station is installed with equipment of deficient ventilation and air purification in need of routine activity for users because projectors didn't have recognition of the importance of prevention equipment on disasters in subway stations. So if the accident in Deagu is occurred again, we can't prevent it. And it is urgently necessary to improve antique subway station for the safety and service to citizens because users were increased far more. Improvement of subway station has to be modernized the backward and antique subway station and maintained and developed by the center of traffic to give the social contribution with management of social facilities. And subway station has to be made conveniently so that everyone may use the station with one-stop system including sales, business, service equipment. This study will show the improvement plan of problem in underground space and situation of metropolitan-train history to improve metropolitan-train station .we will study a traffic line and equipment relocation of underground space considering safety by choosing the improved station and problems of the underground station in seoul. And then we will study the improvement plan of air purification and sound isolation to upgrade service in citizens.

기상청 기후자료의 균질성 문제 (I) - 관측지점의 이전 (Inhomogeneities in Korean Climate Data (I): Due to Site Relocation)

  • Among observational, local-environmental, and large-scale factors causing significant changes in climate records, the site relocations and the replacement of the instruments are well-known nonclimatic factors for the analysis of climatic trends, climatic variability, and for the detection of anthropogenic climate change such as heat-island effect and global warming. Using dataset that were contaminated by these nonclimatic factors can affect seriously the assessment of climatic trends and variability, and the detection of the climatic change signal. In this paper, the inhomogeneities, which have been caused by relocation of the observation site, in the climate data of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) were examined using two-phase regression model. The observations of pan evaporation and wind speed are more sensitive to site relocations than those of other meteorological elements, such as daily mean, maximum and minimum temperatures, with regardless to region.

Installation of Neutron Monitor at the Jang Bogo Station in Antarctica

  • In December 2015, we have installed neutron monitor at the Jang Bogo station in Antarctica. The Jang Bogo station is the second science station which is located at the coast ($74^{\circ}\;37.4^{\prime}S$, $164^{\circ}\;13.7^{\prime}E$) of Terra Nova Bay in Northern Victoria Land of Antarctica. A neutron monitor is an instrument to detect neutrons from secondary cosmic rays collided by the atmosphere. The installation of neutron monitor at Jang Bogo station is a part of transferred mission for neutron monitor at McMurdo station of USA. Among 18 tubes of 18-NM64 neutron monitor, we have completed relocation of 6 tubes and the rest will be transferred in December 2017. Currently, comparison of data from both neutron monitors is under way and there is a good agreement between the data. The neutron monitor at Jang Bogo station will be quite useful to study the space weather when the installation is completed.
