  • 본 논문은 Battery의 열화 특성을 반영한 순차적 Step Charge를 통한, Mobile 기기용 Li-Ion Smart Battery의 Life Cycle 개선기술을 제안 하고자 한다. 현재 기술수준의 Li-Ion 2차전지 수명은 표준충방전 300~500cycle 내외이나. 초기용량을 희생하지 않고도 Smart Battery 내부의 ASOC(Absolute State of Charge)와 연동하여 Battery 수명열화 곡선을 추종하는 최적화된 가변 충전전압을 순차적 Step Charge로 제공하여 Li-Ion 2차 전지의 수명열화를 개선하고, 열화 특성의 검토 및 개선효과 확인을 논문의 목적으로 한다.

  • To understand the electronic charge transfer from cathode to an ETL in the TEOLED, the pristine $Alq_3$ thin film and the interfaces of both $Alq_3/Ba$ and $Alq_3/Au$ were investigated by using the NEXAFS spectroscopy. The unoccupied energy state of each interface using the NEXAFS Analyses at the C and OK-edges was assigned and charge transfer from Ba to ${\pi}^{\ast}$ of $Alq_3$ was investigated in detail.

  • As the battery ages, the internal resistance of the battery increases, so the loss due to the internal resistance increases at the same charging current, causing the battery temperature to rise, which further accelerates battery aging. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the charging conditions according to the aging of the battery or the current charge amount, and to accurately estimate this, estimation of the parameters of the equivalent circuit is most important. This paper proposes a new measurement technique that can measure the internal resistance of a battery by analyzing a specific high frequency voltage and current applied to the battery. In addition, in order to test the validity of the proposed measurement technique, the current charging amount was estimated based on the measured internal resistance, and the terminal voltage of the constant current charging mode was automatically set and operated. As a result, good results were obtained regardless of the battery voltage. If this equipment is installed in the charging device, it is believed that it will be of great help in the stability management of the aging reusable battery.

Electrical characteristics of Au/3C-SiC/Si/Al Schottky, diode (Au/3C-SiC/Al 쇼터키 다이오드의 전기적 특성)

  • High temperature silicon carbide Schottky diode was fabricated with Au deposited on poly 3C-SiC thin film grown on p-type Si(100) using atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition. The charge transport mechanism of the diode was studied in the temperature range of 300 K to 550 K. The forward and reverse bias currents of the diode increase strongly with temperature and diode shows a non-ideal behavior due to the series resistance and the interface states associated with 3C-SiC. The charge transport mechanism is a temperature activated process, in which, the electrons passes over of the low barriers and in turn, diode has a large ideality factor. The charge transport mechanism of the diode was analyzed by a Gaussian distribution of the Schottky barrier heights due to the Schottky barrier inhomogeneities at the metal-semiconductor interface and the mean barrier height and zero-bias standard deviation values for the diode was found to be 1.82 eV and $s_0$=0.233 V, respectively. The interface state density of the diode was determined using conductance-frequency and it was of order of $9.18{\times}10^{10}eV^{-1}cm^{-2}$.

  • An electret filter is composed of permanently charged electet fibers and is widely used in applications requiring high collection efficiency and low-pressure drop. In this work, the collection efficiency of the filter media used in manufacturing cabin air filters was investigated by using poly-disperse particles when submicron particles are loaded. Long-term experiments were conducted by applying different charging states, which are spray electrification and charge equilibrium by bipolar ionization. In order to investigate on the effect of particle loading in filter media, NaCl particles were generated from 0.1% and 1% solutions by an atomizer. In NaCl 0.1%, the collection efficiency of electret filter decreased and then did not change in equilibrium state. In the case of relative larger particles of NaCl 1%, collection efficiency for the equilibrium charged particles increases due to the particle loading on the filter fibers. Particles charged by spray electrification are small in collection efficiency after equilibrium state and increase of filter media's pressure drop was very low in comparison of the equilibrium charged particles.

  • This paper proposes a method of estimating the SOC(State of Charge) of a battery cell using a neural network algorithm. To this, we implement a battery SOC estimation simulator and derive input and output data for neural network learning through charge and discharge experiments at various temperatures. Finally, the performance of the battery SOC estimation is analyzed by comparing with the experimental value by Ah-counting using Matlab/Simulink program and confirmed that the error rate can be reduced to less than 3%.

  • Deuterium quadrupole coupling constant (e2qzzQ/h) of ($\mu$3-C2H)[Co(CO)3]3 was determined by using solid-state deuterium MAS NMR spectroscopy. The small quadrupole coupling constant of bridging methyne unit relative to sp-acethylene in propyne is discussed in terms of the C-H bond length and the negative charge on the carbon.

In this study we are reported the properties for the various transport coefficients of metal and heavy metal ions across charged mosaic membrane based on non-equilibrium thermodynamics is not based on equilibrium state.

  • Interfacial effect in polymetric composites have been studied extensively. This report deals mainly with the effects of interfacial space charge and interface structure. A model for the dynamic process of interfacial space charge accumulation is proposed. The new model might interpret some interface phenomena which is difficult to be explained in terms of traditional Maxwell-Wagner theory. An interface structure is also presented, by which the importance of surface treatment of glass Fiber for improving the properties of FRP could be well understood.

  • This paper describes the application of a coupled finite element-boundary element method (FE-BEM) to obtain the steady-state response of a piezoelectric transducer. The particular structure considered is a PZT4 disc-typed projector. The projector is three-dimensionally simulated to transduce applied electric charge on axial surfaces of the piezoelectric disc to acoustic pressure in air or in water. The directivity pattern of the acoustic field formed from the projected sound pressure is also simulated. And the displacement of the disc caused by the externally applied electric charge is shown in temporal motion. The coupled FE-BE method is described in detail.
