발의 회내 $\cdot$ 회외 변화에 따른 슬개대퇴골각과 종경골각 측정 (Measurement of the CTA and Q-Angle with the Different Position of the Pronation and Supination of the Foot)

  • An excessive Q-angle has been implicated in the development of knee injuries by altering the lower-extremity locomotion kinematics. The purpose of this study was measured the Q-angle and the CTA when the foot moves pronation and supination of the foot in the standing status. The participants of this examination were 60 adult(30 men and 30 women) who had no orthopaedic and neurological impairment, aged between 20 and 40years. The foot tilt(FT 1)is made of acrylic plate and the slope of the suface is altered as $0^{\circ}$, pronation ($10^{\circ},20^{\circ},30^{\circ}$)and supination($10^{\circ},20^{\circ},30^{\circ}$). The results were as follows : 1. The result about the left/right Q-angle and the left/right CAT There was no statistical significant difference between the left and the right side of the Q-angle with different position of the foot(P > 0.05). While significant difference in the left CTA at the $0^{\circ}$, pronation($10^{\circ},20^{\circ},30^{\circ}$) and supination($10^{\circ},20^{\circ}$) has been observed(P < 0.05). 2. The result about the Q-angle and the CTA between male and female There was significant difference in the Q-angle between male and female with different position of the foot(P < 0.05). while significant different in the right CTA at the $0^{\circ}$ pronation ($20^{\circ}$)(P < 0.05), no significant difference in the left CTA have been observed(P > 0.05). 3. The result about correlation between the left/right Q-angle and the left/right CAT There was statistical significant positive correlation between the left/right Q-angle and the left/right CAT with the different position of the foot(P < 0.01).

뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 실시한 한국어판 아동 균형 척도의 라쉬분석 (Application of Rasch Analysis to the Korean Version of the Pediatric Balance Scale in Children With Cerebral Palsy)

  • Background: The Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS) was developed to assess of balance ability in children with balance problem. The PBS was translated into Korean and its reliability had been studied. However, it had need to be verified using psychometric characteristics including item fit and rating scale. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the item fit, item difficulty, and rating scale of the Korean version of PBS using Rasch analysis. Methods: In total, 40 children with cerebral palsy (CP) (boy=17, girl=23) who were diagnosed with level 1 or 2 according to the Gross Motor Function Classification System participated in this study. The PBS was performed, and was verified regarding the item fit, item difficulty, rating scale, and separation index and reliability using Rasch analysis. Results: In this study, the 'transfer', and 'turning to look behind left and right shoulders while standing still' item showed misfit statistics. in total 40 children with CP. Also, 'transfer', 'standing unsupported with feet together' and 'standing with one foot in front' items showed misfit statistics in diplegia CP group. Regardless of the classification of CP, the most difficult item was 'standing on one foot', whereas the easiest item was 'sitting with back unsupported and feet supported on the floor'. The 4 rating scale categories of PBS were acceptable with all criteria. Both item and person separation indices and reliability showed acceptable values. Conclusion: The PBS has been proven reliable, valid and is an appropriate tool, but it needs to modify the items of PBS according to CP classification.

Effects of Sit-to-stand Training with Various Foot Positions Combined with Visual Feedback on Postural Alignment and Balance in Stroke Patients

  • PURPOSE: This study compared the effects of sit-to-stand training with various foot positions combined with visual feedback on the postural alignment and balance. METHODS: Thirty stroke patients were assigned randomly into three groups of standing with a symmetrical foot position (SSF) (n = 10), asymmetrical foot position with the affected foot at the rear (SAF) (n = 10), and visual feedback and asymmetrical foot position (SVAF) (n = 10). Sit-to-stand training with different foot positions was performed for 30 minutes a day, five times a week, for a total of four weeks, and the effects on postural alignment and balance were assessed. RESULTS: The angle between the midline and scapula peak of the affected side was decreased significantly at sitting and thigh-off in the SAF group and at sitting, thigh-off, and standing in the SVAF group (p < .05). The angle between the midline and scapula peak of the non-affected side was increased significantly at sitting and thigh-off in the SAF group and at sitting, thigh-off, and standing in the SVAF group, the difference in the angle between the scapular peaks of the left and right sides was decreased significantly at sitting and thigh-off in SSF group, and at sitting in SAF group (p < .05). In the SVAF group, the angle at sitting, thigh-off, and standing was decreased significantly (p < .05). A comparison of the balance ability showed that BSS in the SVAF group was improved significantly (p < .05). CONCLUSION: Based on these results, the postural alignment and balance ability were improved in stroke patients who participated in sit-to-stand with visual feedback and asymmetrical foot position training.

The immediate Effects of Flexi-bar Exercise on Plantar Pressure and Center of Pressure in Standing Position

  • Background: This study aimed to investigate the immediate effects of Flexi-bar exercise on plantar pressure and Center of Pressure in a standing position. Design: Single group pre-post test design Methods: Thirty healthy adult participants aged 20 to 35 years old and no recent musculoskeletal injuries were included in this single-group pre-post design study. Plantar pressure and COP data were collected using the WinTrack system before and after Flexi-bar exercise. Participants performed Flexi-bar exercises in both anterior-posterior and lateral directions for 30 seconds each. Results: The results revealed significant changes in plantar pressure and COP after Flexi-bar exercise. The support area of the left foot significantly increased (p<0.05), and a significant decrease in mean pressure was observed in the right foot (p<0.05). The total COP path length and area significantly decreased (p<0.05). Furthermore, there was a significant decrease in COP velocity along the X and Y axes (p<0.05). These findings suggest that Flexi-bar exercise can enhance plantar pressure distribution and COP movement patterns, contributing to improved balance ability. Conclusion: Flexi-bar exercise, performed in a standing position, has the potential to improve plantar pressure and COP characteristics. This exercise may serve as a valuable tool for enhancing balance ability. Further research is needed to explore the long-term effects and sustainability of these improvements.

언론소송에 나타난 보도의 개별적 연관성과 당사자적격 (A Study on the Doctrine of Standing in the Suits caused by the Press Reports)

  • 언론보도로 인한 피해의 구제를 도모하기 위한 '언론중재법'이 제정 시행에 들어가고, 법원은 공적존재의 공적사안에 관한 언론보도의 면책범위를 확대하는 법리를 채택하고 있다. 법의 시행과 소송실무에서 가장 중요한 문제 중의 하나가 누가 언론보도의 피해자인가 하는 점인데 흔히 보도의 '개별적 연관성'으로 이해할 수 있다. 이는 당사자적격 여부를 판단하는 기준이 되는바, 이 논문에서는 당사자적격의 법리 변화와 이를 언론소송에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는가, 하는 점을 탐색하였다. 언론이 익명 모자이크 처리해서 보도한 경우, 집단 기관 단체에 대한 보도와 그 구성원간의 개별적 연관성, 혹은 그 반대의 경우, 그리고 정부기관의 당사자적격에 대한 법원의 판례를 검토한 바, 우리 법원은 언론보도로 인한 피해자의 특정, 즉, 개별적 연관성의 범위를 대체로 넓히고 있었다. 이러한 당사자적격의 확대가 법원의 공적존재의 공적사안 면책론 법리와 배치되는 것이라고 보기 어렵고 사인의 사적사안에 대한 언론보도의 익명원칙을 준수할 필요성이 언론에 요구된다. 물론 공적존재의 공적사안 면책론은 확대될 필요가 있고, 언론소송에서 언론이 패하지 않은 지름길은 보도의 공공성과 진실성 확보를 위해 최선을 다하는 길이라 여겨진다.

건설사업의 소송판결에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 - 도시정비사업 조합설립인가 사건을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Factors affecting the Ruling on Construction Project Litigation - Focused on the Union Establishment of the Urban and Housing Redevelopment Project -)

  • 건설사업의 소송판결에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도시정비사업의 조합설립인가 사건을 중심으로 분석하였다. 판결에 영향을 미치는 요인을 카이제곱 검정에 의한 교차분석 및 로지스틱회귀분석을 활용하여 계량법학적 접근을 통해 분석하였다. 교차분석 결과, 본 안전항변그룹의 경우 조합원지위 또는 소유권 없음, 과거법률관계, 중복제소, 소권남용·소송신탁, 가판력존재, 원·피고적격없음, 제소기간도과 법률상이익없음, 인가고유하자아님 등이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 본안쟁점그룹의 경우 유의한 변수는 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 본안전항변그룹의 경우 원·피고적격없음, 조합원지위 또는 소유권없음, 과거법률관계, 중복 제소, 인가고유하자아님, 소권남용·소송신탁, 기판력존재 등이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본안쟁점그룸의 경우 정관관련하자만 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 전반적으로 본안전항변그룹에 비해 본안쟁점그룹의 경우 유의미한 결과가 없거나 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

중간 기관지 내 이물의 수술적 치료 (Surgical Management of Occult Foreign Body in the Bronchus Intermedius)

  • Occult bronchial foreign body is that long-standing foreign body lodge in bronchial tree. Occult bronchial foreign bodies arc rare in adults, whereas tracheobronchial aspiration of foreign bodies occurs commonly in children. A 65-year-old man with chronic cough, sputum production, and fever was transferred for treatment of right middle and lower lobc collapse and obstructive pneumonitis as evidenced by imaging studies. The patient was treated with right middle-lower bilobectomy because fiberoptic bronchoscopic removal of the foreign body failed. We report this case with review of literatures.

지하철 전동차에서의 전신진동 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on Whole Body Vibration in Subway System)

  • In this study, subway train vibration has been measured to characterize the whole body vibration of Seoul subway lines for various human postures. Results show that the floor vibration level of the subway trains in the vertical direction is higher than that in other directions. At the standing human posture, vibration level of the head in the right-left direction are increased while that in the vertical direction is decreased. It is assumed that the different flexibility of the human body and the rolling motion of the subway trains are the main cause. At the sitting posture with back seat on, vibration level in the right and left direction at the human ischial tuberosities is lower than that in other directions. Results also show that there were little difference between back-seat on model and back-seat off model. Transmissibility analysis shows how the subway vibration affects the response of a human body.

개에서 발생한 위확장-염전증후군의 방사선학적 진단 (Radiographic Diagnosis of Canine Gastric Dilatation-volvulus Syndrome)

  • The purpose of this report is to describe the radiographic patterns of canine gastric dilatation-volvulus syndrome derived from a case. Radiographs showed the presence of a large amount of gas, fluid and ingesta within the stomach. The gas-filled pyloric antrum was present in the left cranial abdomen in the ventrodorsal view, and located dorsal and slightly cranial to the gas-filled fundus of the stomach in the right lateral recumbent and standing lateral view. On the right lateral recumbent view, the gas-filled stomach was compartmentalized by a soft-tissue dense band caused by the pyloric antral wall folding back and contacting the fundic wall. It was thought that the gastric volvulus in this case occurred In a clock. wise direction by radiographic findings.

엉덩관절 가동범위에 따른 중간볼기근의 근활성도 비교 (Comparison of Gluteus Medius Muscle Electromyographic activity at different hip angles and motions)

  • Background : The purpose of this study was to investigate the electromyographic(EMG) amplitude of the gluteus medius muscle bilaterally at various hip angles and motions(flexion, extension and abduction). Methods : Thirty young with a mean(SD) age of 21.03(1.69) years performed hip motions(flexion, extension and abduction) while the surface EMG activity of the gluteus medius muscles was recorded bilaterally. Subjects were instructed to use the right lower limb during moving 3 different direction. Differences in EMG amplitudes in according with movement direction and angle were assessed by use of paired t-test analyses of variance for the right and left lower extremities. The alpha level was set at .05. Results : Gluteus medius muscle EMG activities in the both side were significantly greater for abduction at angles of 30 degrees than those for other motions at other angles. Conclusion : Hip abduction at angles of 30 degrees on the standing position may be effective in activating the gluteus medius muscle.
