  • When the stagnation temperature increases, the specific heat does not remain constant and start to vary with this temperature. The gas is perfect, it's state equation remains always valid, except, it was called by gas calorically imperfect or gas at high temperatures. The purpose of this work is to develop a mathematical model for a normal shock wave normal at high temperature when the stagnation temperature is taken into account, less than the dissociation of the molecules as a generalisation model of perfect for constant heat specific. A study on the error given by the perfect gas model compared to our model is presented in order to find a limit of application of the perfect gas model. The application is for air.

  • When the stagnation temperature of a perfect gas increases, the specific heats and their ratio do not remain constant any more and start to vary with this temperature. The gas remains perfect; its state equation remains always valid, except, it is named in more by calorically imperfect gas. The aim of this work is to trace the profiles of the supersonic axisymmetric Minimum Length Nozzle to have a uniform and parallel flow at the exit section, when the stagnation temperature is taken into account, lower than the dissociation threshold of the molecules, and to have for each exit Mach number and stagnation temperature shape of nozzle. The method of characteristics is used with the algorithm of the second order finite differences method. The form of the nozzle has a point of deflection and an initial angle of expansion. The comparison is made with the calorically perfect gas. The application is for air.

  • Ignition of hydrogen and oxygen in the "third limit" is theoretically investigated in the stagnation point flow with activation energy asymptotics. With the steady-state approximations of H, OH, O and HO$_2$, a two-step reduced kinetic mechanism is derived for the regime lower than the crossover temperature T$_{c}$ at which the rates of production and consumption of all radicals are equal. Appropriate scaling of Damkohler number successfully provides the explicit relationship between pressure, temperature and strain rate at ignition. It is shown that, compared with those for the counterflow, ignition temperatures for the stagnation point flow are considerably increased with increasing the system pressure. This is because ignition in the "third limit" is characterized by the production of reduction of $H_2O$$_2$, which is reduced by wall effect. Strain rate substantially affects ignition temperature because key reaction rates of $H_2O$$_2$ are comparably with its transport rate, while the mixture temperature and the hydrogen composition do not significantly affect ignition temperature.e.

  • The flowing of Liver Qi upwards and outwards in all directions means importance especially for women because they are based on blood which is derived from Liver by the theory of oriental medicine. The function of Liver Qi is considered to be reflected at Rt. upper abdomen by meridian theory of oriental medicine. The body temperature was assesed ay DITI. Thermographic measurements were performed on 2 areas. All data were coded for computer analysis and significance were tested by unpaired T test. DITI revealed the significant hyperthermia of Rt. upper abdomen on the Liver Qi stagnation patients. These results suggest that the difference between upper and lower abdomen temperature is remarkably related to occurrence of Liver Qi stagnation. DITI may be favorable to the diagnosis and assessment of Liver Qi stagnation.

  • A recent study for tracing the profiles of supersonic axisymmetric Minimum Length Nozzle with uniform and parallel flow at the exit section, the stagnation temperature is taken into account. The aim of this work is to add optimization algorithm to the supersonic nozzle design in order to get the optimum nozzle shape. The comparisons of the nozzle contours based on the method of characteristics are presented. The specific heats and their ratio vary with the stagnation temperature when this temperature of a perfect gas increases. An application is made for air in a supersonic nozzle.

  • The main purpose of this article is to describe the magnetohydrodynamic stagnation point flow of Walter-B nanofluid over a stretching sheet. The phenomena of heat and mass transfer are based on the involvement of thermal radiation and chemical reaction. Characteristics of Newtonian heating are given special attention. The Brownian motion and thermophoresis models are introduced in the temperature and concentration expressions. Appropriate variables are implemented for the transformation of partial differential frameworks into sets of ordinary differential equations. Plots for velocity, temperature, and nanoparticle concentration are displayed and analyzed for governing parameters. The skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are studied using numerical values. The temperature and heat transfer rate are enhanced within the frame of the thermal conjugate parameter.

  • The potential of using a double-faced wall stagnation flow burner in mass production of carbon nanotubes was evaluated experimentally and computationally. With nitrogen-diluted premixed ethylene-air flames established on the Nickel-coated stainless steel double-faced wall, the propensities of carbon nanotube formation were experimentally determined using SEM and FE-TEM images and Raman spectroscopy, while the flame structure was computationally predicted using a 3-dimensional CFD code with a reduced reaction mechanism. The uniformity and yields of synthesized carbon nanotubes were evaluated in terms of the flame stretch rates. Results show substantial increase of area on the wall surface where uniform carbon nanotubes are synthesized with using the double-faced wall stagnation flow burner due to enhanced uniformity of temperature distribution along the wall surface and support the potential of using a double-faced wall stagnation flow burner in mass production of carbon nanotubes.

  • The counter jet flow which is injected against the free stream at stagnation region of blunt body for improvement of aerodynamic performance has been studied by using upwind Navier-Stokes method. The variations of drag force and upwind forward penetration depth due to changes in the stagnation thermodynamic properties of counter jet flow such as total pressure, Mach number, and total temperature have been studied. The results show that the changes in the stagnation pressure and Mach number have large effects on the wall pressure and drag force, but the total temperature does not affect the wall pressure and drag force.

  • TIn this study, the counter-jet flows which designed for improvement of aerodynamic performance of the blunt body vehicle have been analyzed. The variations of the drag force and jet penetration depth due to changes in the stagnation properties of counter jet new such as total pressure, mach number, and total temperature. The counter jet flow, which is injected toward incoming supersonic freestream at stagnation region of blunt cone-cylinder vehicle, have been studied by using upwind flux difference splitting navier-stokes method. The changes in the stagnation pressure and Mach number resulted in large effects on the wall pressure and drag force, on the other hand tile total temperature changes did not.

  • This study investigates the problem of phase change from liquid to solid in the inviscid stagnation flow. The solution of dimensionless governing equations is determined by the three dimensionless parameters of (temperature ratio/conductivity ratio), Stefan number, and diffusi-vity ratio. The solution at the initial stage of freezing is obtained by expanding it in powers of time, and the final equilibrium state is determined from the steady-state governing equations. The equilibrium state is dependent on (temperature ratio/conductivity ratio), but is independent of Stefan number and diffusivity ratio. The effect of fluid flow on the pure conduction problem can be clearly seen from the solution of the initial stage and the final equilibrium state, and the characteristics of the solidification process for all the dimensionless parameters are elucidated.
