반도체 클린룸용 증기가습 및 수분무가습 외기공조시스템의 에너지소비량 비교연구 (Comparative Study on Energy Consumption in Steam-Humidification- and Water-Spray-Humidification-Type Outdoor Air-Conditioning Systems for Semiconductor Manufacturing Clean Rooms)

  • 최근의 반도체 제조용 대규모 클린룸에서는 도입 외기를 가열가습 및 냉각감습하는 외기공조시스템의 에너지소비량이 클린룸 환경을 유지하기 위해 필요한 전체 공조에너지의 약 45 %를 차지하고 있다. 특히 동기(겨울철)의 경우 외기를 가습하기 위한 에너지소비량은 매우 높다. 따라서 에너지절감을 통한 제조비용 절감 및 온실가스 감축을 위해 외기부하와 관계되는 공조에너지의 사용효율 증대 및 철저한 사용합리화가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 반도체 클린룸용 외기공조시스템의 핵심 가습방식인 증기가습과 수분무가습 방식에 대한 소비전력량을 분석하는 것은 에너지절약적 측면에서 상당히 가치가 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 전극봉식 가습기에 의한 증기가습방식 및 에어와셔에 의한 수분무가습방식 외기공조시스템들의 공조프로세스 및 소비전력량을 외기량 1000 $m^3$/h의 경우 기흥지역의 동기 및 하기의 피크부하에 대해 비교하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과들로부터 에어와셔 수분무가습 외기공조시스템이 전극봉식 증기가습 외기공조시스템보다 연간 소비전력량이 적어서 에너지절약적임을 보여주었다.

학원교실의 냉방시 실내공기질 실태와 영향요인 분석 (Analysis on Influencing factors and Actual State of Indoor Air Quality by Cooling in Private Institute Classrooms)

  • The purpose of this study were to make clear the actual state of indoor air quality by cooling in private institute classrooms and to analyze influencing factors on indoor air quality. The measurements of physical elements and observations of architectural characteristics and living conditions were carried out in each 1 classroom of 5 private institutes. Measuring elements were indoor temperature, relative humidity, $PM_{10}$, HCHO, CO, and $CO_2$ concentration. As results, the averages of indoor temperature each classroom were $21.7\sim28.1^{\circ}C$. 3 classrooms were lower than the Maintenance standard($26\sim28^{\circ}C$) of School Health Law. The means of relative humidity were 48$\sim$63%, all classrooms were ranged within the standard(30$\sim$80%). The means of $PM_{10}$ concentration were 2.1 $\sim$ 17 $\mu g/m^3$, all classrooms were kept within the standard(100 $\mu g/m^3$). The means of HCHO concentration were 0.02$\sim$0.16 ppm, 2 classrooms were exceed the standard(0.1 ppm). The means of CO concentration were 1.4$\sim$3.6 ppm, all classrooms were kept within the standard(10ppm). The means of $CO_2$ concentration were 1,593$\sim$3,819 ppm, all classrooms were exceed the standard(1,000ppm). The results of analysis on influencing factors of the physical elements are as follow; the air conditioner set of temperature, personal necessities like hair spray, teacher's smoking in corridor, windows and doors opening time, the number of students, and volume of classroom.

온실 냉방용 분무노즐의 분무 특성 (Spray Characteristics of Spray Nozzles Used for Greenhouse Cooling)

  • 본 연구에서는 온실냉방용 포그시스템 설계시 필요한 기초자료 확보를 위하여 경상대학교내 실험온실에 설치한 3종류의 노즐을 중심으로 분무특성에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 단위 노즐당 분무량은 분무압력이 증가할수록 증가하나, 각 노즐에서 공히 분무압력의 증가에 따른 분무량의 증가율이 일정하지 않았다. 노즐의 유형 I, II, III형별로 전체 실험분무압력에서 최소입경은 각각 약 1.7~2.5$\mu$m, 1.7~2.2$\mu$m 및 1.7~2.2$\mu$m이었고, 최대입경은 각각 약 44~60$\mu$m, 52~71$\mu$m 및 45~61$\mu$m이었으며, 평균입경은 각각 약 23~38$\mu$m, 19~24$\mu$m 및 17~25$\mu$m범위에 있었다. 그리고 노즐 I, II, III 별로 분무입경이 가장 양호하다고 판단된 분무압력은 각각 70kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 30kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 및 30kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$이었으며, 그 때의 분무량은 각각 124mL/min, 103mL/min 및 84mL/min정도였고, 평균입경은 각각 약 22.6$\mu$m, 21.8$\mu$m 및 20.6$\mu$m정도였다. 또한 전체 입경분포에서 30$\mu$m이하가 차지하는 비율은 노즐(I, II 및 III)별로 각각 95.4%, 85.7%, 79.0%정도였으며, 비교적 입자가 큰 40$\mu$m이상이 차지하는 비율은 각각 0.2%, 1.28% 및 1.67%정도였다. 그러나 이들 노즐들의 분무입자 크기는 대부분 포그의 한계입경인 50$\mu$m이하에 속하였다.

The Effects of Water Mist on the Compartment Fire

  • The present study investigates the fire suppression characteristics using a water mist fire suppression system. Numerical simulations of fire suppression with water mist are performed with considering the interaction of fire plume and water spray. The predicted temperature fields of smoke layer are compared with those of measured data. Numerical results agree with the experimental results within $10^{\circ}C$ in the case without water mist. In the case of fire suppression with water mist, numerical results do not predict well for temperature field in the gradual cooling region after water mist injection. But the predicted results of initial fire suppression are in good agreement with those of measured data. The reason for the discrepancy between predicted and measured data is due to the poor combustion modeling during the injection of water mist. More elaborate models for numerical simulation are required for better predictions of the fire suppression characteristics using water mist.

수평 과냉 . 난류액막류의 막비등 열전달에 관한 연구 (Study on Film-Boiling Heat Transfer of Subcooled Turbulent Liquid Film Flow on Horizontal Plate)

  • Film boiling heat transfer of the subcooled turbulent liquid film flow on a horizontal plate was investigated by theoretical and experimental studies. In the theoretical analysis, by solving the integral energy and momentum equations analytically, some generalized expressions for Nusselt number was deduced. Next, by comparing the deduced equations with the experimental data on the turbulent film boiling heat transfer of the subcooled thin liquid film flow, the semi-empirical relation between the Nusselt number based on the modified heat transfer coefficient and the Reynolds number was obtained. The correlating equation was very similar to that of the turbulent heat transfer in a single phase flow, and it was found that the heat transfer was dissipated to increase the liquid temperature.

  • Liquid atomization by means of a spinning cup is widely used as a device for combustion, in cooling and spray drying. In this study, the blowing type rotary atomizer was experimental carried out the investigations on the characteristics of the blowing type rotary atomizer which is an air flow energy of blower instead of an electric motor most commonly used to a driven energy. The analysis on the rotary cup speed, air velocity with the blower conditions was performed and also the drop size was measured using LDPA. It was tried to analyzed on air-nozzle size and liquid flowrate as the result. It was found that the increase of the relative velocity between liquid and air improve significantly atomization liquid, and decrease of the liquid flowrate improved the maximum drop size though the mean drop size is really the same.

가열 표면에서 액적의 증발열전달에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Evaporative Heat Transfer of Single Droplet on Heated Surface)

  • In the present study, experiment on the evaporation of pure water droplet on heated surface was conducted, and the evaporative heat transfer coefficients were calculated from experimental results. The pure water droplet of about $10{\mu}l$ was applied onto the heat transfer surface, then the shape of the droplet was analyzed during the evaporation. In addition, the effect of surface roughness on the evaporative heat transfer was also investigated. Experimental results showed that the evaporative heat transfer coefficients increased rapidly along with the increase of surface temperature and the heat transfer coefficients increased with the increase of surface roughness.

SD460 철근의 세라믹 코팅에 의한 내식성 향상연구 (Corrosion Resistance of SD460 Reinforcing Rod by Ceramic Coating)

  • The corrosion resistance of reinforcing bar was studied to endure the marine environment during shipment. The red rust on the surface did not damage the adherence in the concrete structures, especially in highly alkaline environment, but made the consumer doubt of the quality. The passivation process by alkalization of the quenching water in the tempcore process failed to endure the long shipping period. The ceramic coating by sol-gel process improved the corrosion resistance without damaging the mechanical properties and adherence between concrete and reinfiorcing bar. Optimal concentration of the coating solution and coating temperature were tested. No additional energy was necessary for the coating process by spraying during cooling process, resulting simplified process and low cost. Salt spray test, cyclic corrosion test and atmospheric test were employed to confirm the resistance. The corrosion rates were presented by rating number and polarization resistance. The coating layer was examined by FIB, XRD and SEM etc.

  • 1. 하우스 개폐장치 조작 불능시를 가정하여 천ㆍ측창을 인위적으로 폐쇄한 경우, 하우스내 온도는 외기온 보다 16$^{\circ}C$ 높은, 즉 사실상 작물을 생육할 수 없는 고온상태를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 하우스 상태 및 외기조건 등에 따라 다소 상이할 것으로 예상된다. 2. 천ㆍ측창을 개방한 상태에서 환기팬을 가동한 경우, 환기팬 가동에 따른 추가적인 실온 저하 효과는 계측되지 않았다. 3. 본 연구에서는 비교적 노즐 입경이 큰 스프링클러를 이용하여 관수시의 냉각효과를 검토하였다. 이 경우, 하우스내 온도는 스프링클러 작동과 동시에 비교적 짧은 시간내에 급격한 온도강하가 이루어졌다. 이 후 지속적인 온도강하는 둔화되어 비교적 안정된 온도를 유지함으로서, 하우스의 실온저하에 크게 기여하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
