  • The aims of this research are to form a research model for negotiations against leisure constraints, serious leisure activity, and the specialization of sports activity, verify the fitness of this model and define the relationship between the variables in the model. This research was taken on a population of 235 people in the commercial sports center in Seoul city in 2010, taking the members by voluntary, and analyzed them with purposive sampling. The research used AMOS 18.0 program to carry out a covariance structure analysis. The conclusions are as follows. First, serious leisure can be experienced when one puts effort in negotiating against the leisure constraints. Second, when one puts effort in negotiating against leisure constraints, progress is made in specialization of sports activity. Lastly, sports activity becomes more professionalized when one experiences serious leisure.

In order to do this, I was conducted interviews with the water sports of seven experts to achieve. As the development direction of the main contents of the interview is youth leisure activity, specific details are expected to be young and effect change through the application of Maritime youth sports programs, potential problems, and direction of water sports youth development program, primarily part of the effort needed and so on is composed of. Interview data was categorized as a job that has undergone a similar topic by phenomenological analysis of Giorgi. Findings water sports activities despite having plenty of potential to contribute to the holistic growth of the youth, the conclusion was drawn that various constraints exist. Management of water sports agencies as a way to solve this problem, provided supervision, property development program for adolescents and youth professional guidance workforce, youth water sports activities such as infrastructure presents a proposal.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference and needs of leisure facilities of residents living in apartment complexes. The questionnaire survey was conducted in the selected apartment complexes, and 676 responses were used for data analysis. The statistical techniques used for data analysis included frequencies, percentage, mean, $X^2$-test, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1) Subjects needed the diverse leisure facilities such as sports center and resident's self government facilities. And they needed diverse facilities for sports. 2) In terms of location, they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house. 3) The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities was lower than neutral. The satisfaction of leisure facilities related with diversity of leisure facilities and program, and poor environment. 4) It was found that the respondents preferred safe and various leisure facilities, and the leisure facilities were exclusively used for the residents only, and the use by non-residents should be charged at the expense. Also, respondents were willing to pay additional fee for the better quality of leisure facilities, and sports leisure facilities congregated in one building were highly desirable.

  • This study is to examine the relationship between leisure constraints, participation in Sports for All and subjective happiness among private guards. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, private guards held in Seoul were set as a collected group. Then, using cluster random sampling method, finally drewout and analyzed 193 peoples in total. The result of reliability analysis check up was here below; Chronbach's ${\alpha}=\;.725$. The conclusion drawn from this study is as follows: First, leisure constraints influences on the participation experience in Sports for All. Second, leisure constraints influences on the participation degree in Sports for All. The increase of leisure constraints in peripheral aspects results in the decrease of participation term of Sports for All. And the increase of leisure constraints in individual, peripheral aspects results in of participation intensity in Sports for All. Third, leisure constraints influences on subjective happiness. Fourth, leisure constraints results in the retributive effect on participation in Sports for All and subjective happiness. Namely, leisure constraints results in the indirect effect on subjective happiness through the participation in Sports for All is an important variable intermediating the relationship between leisure constraints and subjective happiness.

  • The purpose of the study was to be aware of the types of leisure activity of the college students and to investigate factors for choosing the internet sports, and then to examine the effects of these factors on the consumption of the internet sports. A total of 412 college students participated in this study. The results of this study were as follows: 1) There was difference in the leisure type between male and female college students. 2) The amount of leisure time associated with sports of male college students was statistically greater than one of female college students. 3) The leisure time spent for the sports media of male college students was statistically greater than one of female college students. 4) The leisure time spent for the sports media of college students was prioritized for the TV, followed by the internet, newspapers, and the radio. 5) The results of the factor analysis indicated that the factors influencing choice of the internet sports consisted of the indirect experience, information collection, and accessibility. 6) Only information collection out of these factors positively influenced the increase of consumption of the internet sports. Above results could be evidence for that the internet is very important area for the sports consumption. Therefore, it requires more substantial research and investment of attention for the internet area because the internet is one of rapidly skyrocketing new areas in the leisure industry.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the motivation to participate in sports for elderly, the factors for fun, leisure satisfaction, and exercise persistence. In order to analyze the data, a total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to senior citizens participating in sports programs at the Senior Citizen Welfare Center in Seoul, and a total of 183 copies (91.5%) of data were used as valid samples excluding 17 unfaithful responses. For data processing, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach's α, concentration validity, discriminant validity, concept reliability, correlation analysis, and structural equation model verification were performed using IBM AMOS 21.First, the motivation to participate in sports for the elderly influenced the fun factor. Second, the motivation to participate in sports for the elderly influenced leisure satisfaction. Third, the motivation to participate in sports for the elderly influenced the exercise continuation. Fourth, the fun factor of sports for the elderly influenced leisure satisfaction. Fifth, the fun factor of elderly sports influenced the exercise continuation. Sixth, the satisfaction of sports for the elderly affected the exercise continuation.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate changes in upper extremity joints and leisure satisfaction in children with brain lesions through sports stacking activities. Methods: A sports stacking program was conducted on three children with brain lesions who had upper extremity joint limitations and joint range of motion lower than the normal range. It was conducted 10 times, 1 to 2 times a week, 40 minutes each time. Upper extremity joint angles were measured using a goniometer in the order of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers, and leisure satisfaction was measured using a smile evaluation. Results: As a result of measuring the upper extremity joint angles, all three children showed slight angle changes in the shoulder, elbow, and wrist areas. Differences in joint angles appeared differently for each child. Smile evaluation results were evaluated in various psychological, educational, and physical aspects. Only child A was evaluated for Smile Evaluation No. 1. Conclusion: Sports stacking activities changed the upper extremity function of children with brain lesion disorders and showed differences in psychological, physical, and educational aspects of leisure satisfaction. As this is a short-term study result, the change in upper extremity function is minimal, but if sports stacking activities are continued, it will be a rehabilitation program that can prevent upper extremity dysfunction and improve physical strength. Accordingly, continuous attention should be paid to increasing accessibility and enjoyment of daily life according to individual characteristics and level.
