Optimum Shape Design of Spoke Type Motor for Maximum Torque and Minimum Torque Ripple (Spoke type 전동기의 최대토크와 최소토크리플을 위한 형상 최적 설계)

  • In this paper, we investigate the optimization design for a spoke type motor with the characteristics of high torque density and high-efficiency. This motor has a high output per unit volume. In order to reduce noise and vibration caused by a high cogging torque, optimization design of the rotor and stator have been conducted using both Response surface method (RSM) and Finite elements method (FEM). In this paper, we show the potential for this motor to efficiently replace existing interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSM) in a wide range of industries.

  • The purpose of this paper is characteristic analysis of permanent magnet generator for AVR power of brushless synchronous generator. However, the PMG has a spoke type rotor with overhang, so we perform the analysis considering overhang for the precise airgap flux density. In this paper, dynamic analysis model with 2D FEM considering overhang is proposed by use of 2D, 3D static FEM results. The proposed method is verified by the results of PMG load test.

  • 전사적 어플리케이션 통합(EAI)은 메시지 전달, 메시지 라우팅, 메시지 변환 등 시스템 간 데이터 및 어플리케이션 통합을 위한 기능을 제공하고 있다. 하지만 EAI솔루션은 Spoke 시스템 및 EAI HUB의 시스템 안정성과 메시지 전달 신뢰도 확보 방안에 대한 표준이 제공되고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 구간별, 유형별로 발생하는 시스템 및 어플리케이션 모니터링과 업무 데이터가 EAI를 거쳐 전달되는 과정에 대한 인터페이스 모니터링을 종합적으로 관리하는 방법으로 EAI 솔루션에 대한 상태 파악과 업무 인터페이스 데이터의 진행 상황을 실시간으로 확인 가능하도록 구축 한 사례를 들어 EAI의 안정된 운영과 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

  • Prior to the experimental and production stages of goods, the strengths should be evaluated in the design stage. The introduction of commercial codes at the design stage gives benefits such as cost and time economies in the production and strength evaluation. In this study, structural analysis and fatigue analysis are carried out using ANSYS modeling of the 3D geometry of the wheel. In a comparison of dish-type and spoke-type wheels, it is shown that the deformation and maximum equivalent stress for the dish-type wheels are lower than those for spoke-type wheels. Nevertheless, spoke-type wheels are often used because they are light and have exhibit excellent cooling performance. Furthermore, according to the results of life analysis, aluminum wheels show improved resistance to fatigue compared to steel wheels.

  • The rare earth output is concentrated in limited number of countries including China. Also the necessity for development of non-rare earth motor is getting signified due to the rapid increase of rare earth price and resource weaponizing policies. Non-rare earth motor is generally designed as spoke type PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) in order to maximize the power density. Such spoke type PMSM has advantage in concentrating the flux but demonstrates lower efficiency compared to permanent magnet using Nd (Neodymium) permanent magnet. Therefore, applications with strong necessity for efficiency need rotor structure having improved efficiency compared to spoke type PMSM. Hence, this study suggested fan-shape type PMSM with somewhat lower power density but maximized efficiency. Fan-shape type PMSM is a rotor shape demonstrating outstanding reduction of iron loss compared to existing spoke type. Thus, this study analyzed the improvement of efficiency and reduction of loss arising from the suggested shape through parameter calculation.

  • The armature core is a part responsible for the skeleton of the steering wheel. Currently, in the case of commercial trucks, the main parts of the parts are manufactured separately and then the product is produced through welding. In the case of this production method, quality and cost problems of the welded parts occur, and an integrated armature core made of magnesium alloy is used in passenger vehicles. However, in the case of commercial trucks, there is no application case and research is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop an all-in-one armature core that simultaneously applies a magnesium alloy material and a die casting method to reduce the weight and improve the quality of the existing steel armature core. The product was modeled based on the shape of a commercial product, and finite element analysis (FEA) was performed through Ls-dyna, a general-purpose analysis program. Through digital image correlation (DIC) and uniaxial tensile test, the accurate physical properties of the material were obtained and applied to the analysis. A total of four types of compression were applied by changing the angle and ground contact area of the product according to the actual reliability test conditions. analysis was carried out. As a result of FEA, it was confirmed that damage occurred in the spoke area, and spoke thickness (tspoke), base thickness (tbase), and rim and spoke connection (R) were designated as design variables, and the total weight and maximum equivalent stress occurring in the armature core We specify an objective function that simultaneously minimizes . A prediction function was derived using the sequential response surface method to identify design variables that minimized the objective function, and it was confirmed that it was improved by 22%.

  • 일반적으로 BLDC 모터는 고효율 고토크의 특성을 가지고, 넓은 속도 범위에 걸쳐 높은 효율을 유지 하고 제어가 용이하므로 널리 사용 되고 있다. 이러한 BLDC 모터는 구동 원리에 의해서 역기전력의 파형이 구형파를 가지는 것이 유리하다. 또한 BLAC 모터는 효율, 역률, 전력밀도 및 토크 밀도가 높은 장점을 가지고 정현파 역기전력을 요구한다. 매입형 영구자석형 동기전동기 중 할박 구조로 인해서 자속을 집중 시키는 Spoke type 모터의 회전자 표면은 철심으로 이루어져 있기 때문에 회전자 표면의 형상을 Arc설계를 통해서 형상 최적화가 가능하다. 회전자 표면의 Arc 설계를 통해서 공극의 자속밀도 분포의 변화를 줄 수 있어 BLDC 구동 시 요구하는 구형파 역기저력 파형과 BLAC 구동 시 요구되는 정현파 역기저력 파형을 Arc 설계 각도에 따라 다르게 발생 시킬 수 있다. 이를 통해서 역기전력을 형태를 구형파와 정현파 형태를 가지도록 설계하여 BLDC와 BLAC 구동 시에 성능을 FEA를 통해서 비교 평가 하여, 구동 방식에 따른 Spoke type IPM 모터의 형상 설계방법을 제시한다.

Optimal design of spoke double-layer cable-net structures based on an energy principle

  • An optimal design method for a spoke double-layer cable-net structure (SDLC) is proposed in this study. Simplified calculation models of the SDLC are put forward to reveal the static responses under vertical loads and wind loads. Next, based on an energy principle, the relationship among the initial prestress level, cross-sectional areas of the components, rise height, sag height, overall displacement, and relative deformation is proposed. Moreover, a calculation model of the Foshan Center SDLC is built and optimized. Given the limited loading cases, material properties of the components, and variation ranges of the rise height and sag height, the self-weight and initial prestress level of the entire structure can be obtained. Because the self-weight of the cables decreases with increasing of the rise height and sag height, while the self-weight of the inner strut increases, the total weight of the entire structure successively exhibits a sharp reduction, a gradual decrease, a slow increase, and a sharp increase during the optimization process. For the simplified model, the optimal design corresponds to the combination of rise height and sag height that results in an appropriate prestress level of the entire structure with the minimum total weight.

  • Unlike existing pneumatic tire, NPT(Non-Pneumatic Tire) is a tire replacing air pressure with spokes. NPT has no problem of punk which pneumatic tire has and doesn't need to maintain air pressure. Also it can be used in space where temperature change sharply. In this regard, NPT are attracting attention as next-generation wheels. For optimizing Honeycomb structure, we applied the load to various Honeycomb structure which forms NPT, performed FEM(finite element analysis) using Edison and compared each results.

  • This study aims to propose a smart city governance logic model that can accommodate more diverse information service systems by mixing hub-and-spoke and blockchain technologies as a data management model. Specifically, the research focuses on deriving the logic of an operating system that can work across smart city planning based on the two data governance technologies. The first step of the logic is the generation and collection of information, which is first divided into information that requires information protection and information that can be shared with the public, and the information that requires privacy is blockchainized, and the shared information is integrated and aggregated in a data hub. The next step is the processing and use of the information, which can actively use the blockchain technology, but for the information that can be shared other than the protected information, the governance logic is built in parallel with the hub-and-spoke type. Next is the logic of the distribution stage, where the key is to establish a service contact point between service providers and beneficiaries. Also, This study proposes the establishment of a one-to-one data exchange relationship between information providers, information consumers, and information processors. Finally, in order to expand and promote citizen participation opportunities through a reasonable compensation system in the operation of smart cities, we developed virtual currency as a local currency and designed an open operation logic of local virtual currency that can operate in the compensation dimension of information.
