Precision Analysis of GPS Surveying Using Continuos Stations (상시관측소의 데이터를 이용한 GPS측량의 정밀도분석)

  • This study is aimed to suggest a practical use of GPS continuous stations by conducting the precision analysis using its data. Currently dozens of continuous stations have been installed and operated since the first GPS continuous station built by KAO(Korea Astronomy Observation) in 1985. The utilization of the surveyed information, however, has been under-developed regardless of a significant investment, which leads the necessity of utilization plan. The results of this study show that the mis-closures between the two points at University of Incheon and Suwon/Seoul stations of NGI(National Geography Institute), Seoul stat ion of KAO, and Incheon station of MOGAHA(Ministry Of Government Administration and Home Affairs) are 0.0206m, 0.0118m, 0.0129m and 0.0024m respectively. It indicates that the analyzed mis-closures were less than the allowed values ill the primary/secondary control point specification for GPS surveying, i.e. a mis-closure less than 30mm for the distance less than 30km and a mis-closure less than $IPPM{\times}D(km)$ for the distance greater than 30km.

  • This study in focused on proposing the improvement plans for refuge and fire-fighting facilities in large shopping malls that are radically spreading. The main subjects are as follows. - The refuge measure for large shopping malls - Problems of installing the refuge facilities in stores and the solutions - Problems of installing the incendiary facilities in stores and the solutions - Problems of installing the indoor fire plug in stores and the solutions As result of the study, it has turned out that escape stairs which are set up according to the standard of size in the process of design plan, have to be decided for their amount, position, specification, etc, in consideration of the number of residents. It is also required to tighten a standard of installing a sprinkler instead of lightening the fire-fighting section in stores, considering obstacles due to facilities installed and procurement of the escape path. In addition, it needs to lighten a standard of installing the indoor fire plug, which is voluntarily set up at the store section incase of installing a sprinkler to make a practical fire-fighting facility available.

Investigation of Key Factors to measure on-site Performance of a Construction firm

  • The performance of projects has always been an area of interest in the construction industry. Roles of all construction supply chain partners are necessary; however the role of a contractor firm in the construction project is pivotal. So, this research intended to explore a Construction Firm's performance criteria which could measure the level of performance of that firm in an ongoing project. Data was collected from construction professionals working in three principal project participant organizations, namely Owner, Consultant and Contractor. A total of 113 nos. of performance measuring items were sorted from literature review and used to collect data. Statistical tools processed by SPSS program was employed to analyze the data. Out of total 113 items, only 65 nos. of variables were found to be acceptable to every population group of this study. Factor analysis revealed 12 key performance predicting factors (KPPF) with 53 predictive indicators. 12 KPPFS with index weight are: work progress and smoothening (9.3%), change order management and work accuracy (9.1%), business relationship building (8.1%), adequacy of construction work procedure (8.6%), quality performance (8.0%), health and site safety adequacy (8.8%), Innovative contractor (8.0%), adequacy of construction site information (6.8%), compliance with contract plan/specification requirements (8.9%), creditworthiness and financial capability (8.3%), intra-agency relationship and responsiveness (7.0%) and resource management (9.2%). These results could be useful to project management body to evaluate performance of its contractor firm on site as well as the contractor itself to assess own performance and its subcontractors on-site.

  • In this paper, we introduce the case study on the certificate system for Auto Meter Reading protocol, Device Language Message Specification which is a common language between metering devices and protocol with compatibility and conformance to the IEC 62056 standards. KEPCO has contributed to improve interoperability between different devices of multi vendors through the DLMS standard tests and led the smart metering industry in Korea. KEPCO has AMR system and successful business model for 550 thousands of households based on 24Mbps broadband powerline communications using its infrastructure. We have plan to continue on standardization activities stratagemically by participating in IEC working groups for the purpose of occupying the core technology of Smart Gird.

  • In 2008, the Development Impact Fee Zoning has been newly amended and added to the existing National Territory Planning Act. Since the beginning of 2009, many local governments nationwide started to adopt the law as a powerful tool to prepare the prescirbed masterplans for the installment of adequate infrastructure and to procure the financial resources to realize the plan. The study, in this context, tried to build gridded population data and analyzed the population cells that exceed the legal criteria of population increase rate required by the law over the case area of Sooyoung-Ri in Hwasung City. The study further probed to group the selected population cells in five specified increasing steps on which the alternative impact fee zones are built. Throughout the process, the study could properly set a reasonable impact fee zone and suggested a practical examples of the final zone specification applicable by the localities.

  • Most of works have been performed on representation of spatiotemporal objects from various points of view. Most of them represent spatiotemporal objects using approaches from GIS, temporal databases, object-oriented databases or data type. Spatiotemporal objects can be classified as objects whose position and shape changes discretely over time, objects whose position changes continuously and objects whose shape changes continuously as well as position. Previous works on spatiotemporal model have focused on only one of them. In this paper, we propose a spatiotemporal model that can represent three types of objects in Euclidean plan. For this purpose, we represent both discrete and continuous moving objects by defining temporal model extended from valid time and by defining relationship between two consecutive versions of objects. The proposed spatiotemporal object model is based on open GIS specification so that it has compatibility with existing spatial data model.

  • Interurban railway is expanded by transportation that population can be centralism and cope efficiently in traffic jam by augmentation of vehicles in the city. Railroad chair departs in space of an existent simple rest and products that can raise human body standard and size by powerful engineering vicinity, quality of the material, psychological satisfaction etc. of users are developed steadily. Specially, study of space that can use various materials efficiently with bodily size government official because various of man and woman old and the young etc.. are using in occasion of the train is urgently required. Specially, railroad chair is a product that material and standard, structure, human body engineering, a finish etc. is studied variously. In the case of advanced nation, in case of design a chair operating time of railroad, is placed as all standards orderly and harmonious because is considered exercise dynamics etc.. and designs. The other side, in the case of our country, study expert of chair is short real and is depending on technological data of overseas railway vehicle. Chair for railroad must consider removal of short-range, long distance. That have to be consider to a lot of uncomfortable such as psychological satisfaction of user because the domestic Motor Companies are defining in fair development study and many researchers but the railroad chair company are not accumulated professional manpower and technological know-how. Railway vehicle can recognize that overseas visitors as well as native is important element as space that space is exposed internationally by product that Public personality which used cultural value is strong. Therefore, wish to plan valid spec relationship presentation of various design and specification, function etc.. and contribute to railroad chair development design process lists and analyzes van instances of railway vehicle chair of inside and outside of the country through this study.

Private security development plan through security guard crime statistics analysis

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide basic data for related studies by comparing and analyzing crimes committed by security guards through criminal statistical analysis, and to contribute to the sound development of the private security industry by strengthening the professional ethics of security guards and reducing guard crimes. The purpose. As a results of a comparative analysis of the number of crimes by security guards and the crime rate are as follows. Although the total number of crimes committed in Korea and the number of crimes committed by security guards decreased every year, the crime rate of security guards was higher than the average crime rate. felonious crimes, violent crimes, customs crimes, and special economic crimes were consistently high. As a countermeasure against the results, first, interest in security guard crimes as perpetrators rather than as victims, second, reinforcement of professional ethics education through new training and job training, third, academic development and systematic It appeared as a specification of the definition and current status of security guards for the study.

  • The 5th generation mobile communication (5G) is being commercialized by major domestic and foreign mobile telecommunication businesses and is spreading to general customers mainly on smart devices such as smartphones, wearables, and IoT. If 4G networks and 5G access equipment were utilized by introducing NSA(None-Stand Alone) technology when 5G was first introduced, recently, 5G convergence services are being realized by gradually expanding evolution to 5G standalone networks through SA (Stand Alone) technology. The purpose of this study is to study a design plan for implementing necessary service-oriented functions from the perspective of communication network users on the configuration of 5G SA equipment based on SBA(Service-based Architecture) mentioned in the 3GPP technical specification document. Through this research, it is expected that companies that need to enter the 5G market can easily access the 5G SA network to develop and supplement specialized 5G convergence services to improve product performance and quality.

An Analysis on the Priority of Educational Needs of Teachers in Charge of Educational Contents of Invention Intellectual Property in Secondary Vocational Education (중등단계 직업교육에서의 발명·지식재산 교육내용에 대한 담당 교사의 교육요구도 우선 순위 분석)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the property of educational needs of teachers for educational contents of invention and intellectual property in secondary vocational education and provide fundamental data for the development of job training programs so as to develop the capabilities of teachers, the base for effective education of invention intellectual property in secondary vocational education. To achieve them, educational needs for the educational contents of invention intellectual property and the priority of the educational needs in secondary vocational education based on the recognition of the teachers were analyzed and suggested. Concrete results of this study can be suggested as follows. First, the average of educational needs of the teachers for the educational contents of invention intellectual property in secondary vocational education was 5.02. The items of the educational contents for the second rank were A2(Creativity development), B3(Actuality of inventional method), C3(Problem solving activity), D4(Invention and management), E2(Invention design devise and expression), F4(Range of patent demand), F5(Modification and supplementation of specification sheet), G2(Patent investigation and classification), H2(Analysis on invention commercialization), and H4(Invention marketing). The items for the third rank were the educational contents except the ones of the first rank and the second rank.
