Although shoes industry in Korea is superior in global competition in terms of material, parts, and developmental ability, it has declined due to the lack of design in consideration of OEM production and marketing ability. Shoes industry in Korea has aimed at making inroad to North American market centered with the United States, but it has not focused on Europe market that much. However, as Europe transformed into EU, which is a large economic community, European market is being considered as a great potential for Korean shoes industry, which we can never neglect of. So far, there have been researches of marketing strategic methods to make inroad to the United States and South-East Asian markets, but there has been almost no marketing approach to European shoes market. Therefore, in this study I prepare strategic marketing plans for Korean shoes enterprises to make inroads to European markets, so that they can enter the market successfully, and this is the purpose of this study. In case that Korean shoes industry makes inroads to European market, there are important terms to examine. The strategic terms for consideration to examine are as follows. First, shoes companies such as Nike and Adidas are aware of India. Turkey, and Rumania as new footholds for production, as they have accounted continuous wage claim and labor dispute. Especially Turkey and Rumania are expected to have much competitive strength in price, as they are expected countries for joining EU. Second, we need to shift our understanding of the importance of design for European shoes market. We should pay close attention to the fact that the role of leading companies is to design. Third, Germany, England, and Italy have global-level of specialize institutions and organizations for shoes education and have been succeeded in knowledge industrialization. Fourth, we should consider that the concepts for shoes are changing from innovation in production to in products. Fifth, we should develop specialized concept centered in individualized categories. Sixth, we should open up new markets actively by connecting large shopping centers and multi-shops. Seventh, we should look for the opportunities to expand market through the utilization of BIFOS. Lastly, we should expand our support for opening up markets and participating fairs in foreign countries.
This study is on the pedagogical convention of architectural history in Korea, especially that of Western Architecture. Recent institutional change in architectural school in Korea has caused overall restructuring of academic program. In spite of extension in the field of history there was no progress of method and way of thinking. There is no change in the point of view to see the western architecture and its history as a unique and specialized phenomenon in the civilization of mankind. Because of no recognition about for what, for whom, and how to, and because of orientalism, the cultural position of western architectural history and its narrative was not asked. With the help of post-colonialism, de-constructivism and critical historiography this paper tries to show the fundamental premise of western architectural history as a myth and show its prejudice as not being justifiable. The background of the discourse there has been a representation effect with regard to knowledge as a power. we need to escape from this kind of cognitional frame With the analysis of the its premise and narrative we can find it is a historical construct that was made in the age of imperialism. In fact it has a lot of false information and problematic point of view. The Identity and originality of western architecture and its history has no logical reason or foundation if we think that it depends on the difference and comparison with other civilization. For example the explanation of its historical origin western architecture has big difference with Islamic architecture in spite of the resemblance each other. This paper try to show several reasons that discourse of western architectural history can not be survived any longer. So we need to reconstruct new pedagogy with deconstruction for the students of non western, or Korean students. Because it has important effect to see and think about architecture and its history.

Implementation of Model-based Systems Engineering(MBSE) depends on a model supporting efficient communication among engineers from various domains. And SysML is designed to create models supporting MBSE but unfortunately, SysML itself is not practical enough to be used in real-world engineering projects. SysML is designed to express generic systems and requires specialized knowledge, so a model written in SysML is less capable of supporting communication between a systems engineer and a sub-system engineer. Domain Specific Languages(DSL) can be a great solution to overcome the weakness of the standard SysML. A SysML based DSL means a customized SysML for a specific engineering domain. Unfortunately, current researches on SysML Domain Specific Language(DSL) for the plant engineering industry are still on the early stage. So as the first step, we have developed our own SysML based Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) creation environment and P&ID itself of a specific plant system, using a widely used SysML authoring tool called MagicDraw. P&ID is one of the most critical output during the plant design phase, which contains all information required for the plant construction phase. So a SysML based P&ID has a great potential to enhance the communication among plant engineers of various disciplines.

In the past, design has been recognized as a means to determine colors, shapes, and functions Recently, however, it has been accepted in a wider sense, namely designing the entire service, including product and user experience design. In this way, in addition to creativity and expressive power that designers have as their main competence, according to the expansion of this design object, designers are required to have comprehensive abilities in related fields and accompanying technical professional abilities. If designing as a technology application as a direction toward this situation, design education can be carried out by approaching technology as a method of expression or design subject. It can also be an effective alternative towards improving the understanding of technology. Meanwhile, many small microcontroller board products with advanced functions and multi-functional specialized programming integrated development environments (IDEs) are becoming widespread due to their open source, low cost, and scalable features. However, students in the design department who lack the basic knowledge of science and engineering have difficulties learning, which requires considerable time and is required for practical use. From this point of view, we have made advancements in the technical understanding of design education by conducting fundamental research to the effectiveness of microcontroller-based prototyping tools as means of expression. We also conducted basic education of microcontroller boards for a certain period of time on students who majored in design in conjunction with the basic survey and investigated the obstacle factors using a questionnaire. Through these surveys, we have confirmed the necessity of designing microcontroller boards of low difficulty, which simplify the coding process that can act as a barrier in difficulty for design students to apply smoothly in design education. In addition, we intend to carry out a basic study on the guideline of microcontroller design for design education and composition of education programs.
Human capital and higher education have been increasingly emphasized with the rise of a knowledge-based economy. Cities are recognized as places to attract human capital and spur economic development. Educated workforce supply is one of the critical parts to sustain IT industries, which have been leading recent economic development. This paper examines factors affecting geographies of educated workforce supply from colleges and universities to companies in U.S. metropolitan areas through questionnaire survey and interviews with IT companies and IT-related programs at colleges and universities. The results show that: (1) physical proximity between IT companies and colleges/universities enhances the degree of educated workforce supply from colleges/universities to IT companies; (2) IT companies which seek more specialized and rarer expertise recruit the workforce from colleges or universities over longer distance; (3) colleges and universities which offer a higher degree have geographically more extensive supply of educated workforce to IT companies than those which offer a lower degree; and (4) large IT companies have more geographically extensive supply of educated workforce to colleges/universities than small IT companies.
In this paper, we attempt to realize the diversity of human actions in a virtual world in terms of the basic actions. We utilize the comprehensive knowledge structure of ontology to organize the human actions into an action hierarchy, each action being the root action of its associated hierarchy of specialized actions. Each basic action is implemented by composing the primitive motions and each basic action in turn by reusing those basic actions. Our approach to the development of these actions is focused more on their diversity and brevity than on their visual realism. Based on this design we develop a method to grasp virtual humans' characteristics and reflect those characteristics on their respective action patterns. We also present a mechanism for the agents to adapt their motions to diverse qualitative changes in environment. We apply these methods to such basic actions as walk, run and throw to demonstrate their viability.
The effort to generate new values in this age of digital technology characterized by rapid changes in information and knowledge demands transformations not only in the sociocultural and educational spheres but also specifically in the field of arts and culture education. One of the greatest transformations is emphasis on integration and consilience among different fields which has impacted the field of arts and culture, giving birth to the practice of arts and culture education. Digital technology actively utilizes in lots of subjects, which, also becomes a challenging factor for the field of arts and culture education. In this context, this study theoretically considered to approach music technology to use for the field of arts and culture education. Utilization of music technology takes interdisciplinary approaches combining various subjects in the field of arts and culture education. Considering the current circumstances in which there is a lack of teaching and learning methodologies which reflect the unique, specialized nature and the intrinsic originality of the field of arts and culture education. It is deemed that by accumulating more case studies applying music technology in practice to a wider variety of targets and situations. Music technology will serve the role of an important a learning tool for the arts and culture education field.

This study determines 69 iSchools provided which data science curriculum, and presents the direction for Korean LIS schools. It is certain that iSchools extend their subject territory including areas related to health, technology and biotechnology. However, this phenomenon is not actively observed in Korea. iSchools also focus on the area about how to process and manage data. iSchools, in deed, offer courses regarding data science, data management and data security. The 'database' was a higher proportion of 'data warehouse' curriculum, and, 'data statistic and analysis' curriculum are forming similar portion. As a result of analysis of the iSchool's curriculum and comparison with Korean curriculum, this study suggests: the expansion of LIS curriculum related to data science; the enhanced role of the data translational data science; development of curriculum to raise the mathematical analysis capabilities, development of specialized curriculum and experimental classes; and support new knowledge skills to interact with technology.

GPS (Global Positioning System) is currently used widely in the ground section, such as surveying, mapping, geodesy, geophysics, the aviation section, such as aerial navigation and aerial photography, the sea section, including ship navigation and bathymetry, and space section, such as the satellite orbit and Earth's orbit. On the other hand, its use is limited due to the professional knowledge and expense to process the data for precise analysis. As a result, a web-based data processing solution for precise point positioning using GPS data was developed by c# for non-specialized people to process easily. In addition, the crustal movement speed of Korea after an earthquake was calculated to be an average of 30mm/year for each CORS, suggesting that it is possible to monitor crustal movement.

The professional duties of librarians and other information workers involve a generalized body of both theoretical and practical knowledge (the so-called, 'common core') which is a n.0, pplicable worldwide without regard to national boundaries, levels of economic and technical development or cultural context. The current study is an attempt to validate and su n.0, pport this common core concept through a detailed examination of its important role in the sound development of library and information science both as a learned subject and as a profession. Following an initial overview of generally agreed upon core areas in the education and training of librarians and information specialists, with particular attention to the manifold social changes rapidly being effected by computers and communication technology, the focus shifts to the proliferation of academic homes for information science education and its implications for core areas in information science. Of note here is the relationship between information science as a broadly accepted social science discipline and the evolving core curriculum in library schools. To this regard the fact that the popularization of computers and communication technology is increasingly blurring the once-sharp differences between traditional librarians and information specialists naturally favors common core concept. Major figures in library and information science education such as Shera, Saracevic and Foskette su n.0, pport this concept and have already identified its theoretical infrastructure. Finally, UNESCO and IFLA are also stressing the common core cure curriculum for library and information science both as guidelines for the Third World and as a means to achieve universally accepted academic standards. In conclusion, the search for a comprehensive common core curriculum in library and information science education is still in the elementary stages. The task of identifying the components of this common core is among the most crucial responsibilities facing today's educators and professionals for the successful elaboration of a common core would enable us to attain three highly desirable professional goals: 1) To determine the basic concepts and principles of library and information science. 2) To serve as the base for further professional education and specialized research. 3) To offer enhanced o n.0, pportunities for integrated library and information science education programs by providing a genuine two-way communication channel between the library and information science professions.
