  • Special-shape arch bridge for self-balance (SBSSAB) in Zhongshan City is a kind of new fashioned spatial combined arch bridge composed of inclined steel arch ribs, curved steel box girder and inclined suspenders, and the mechanical behavior of the SBSSAB is particularly complicated. The SBSSAB is aesthetic in appearance, and design of the SBSSAB is artful and particular. In order to roundly investigate the mechanical behavior of the SBSSAB, 3-D finite element models for spatial member and shell were established to analyze the mechanical properties of the SBSSAB using ANSYS. Finite element analyses were conducted under several main loading cases, moreover deformation and strain values for control section of the SBSSAB under several main loading cases were proposed. To ensure the safety and rationality for optimal design of the SBSSAB and also to verify the reliability of its design and calculation theories, the 1/10 scale model tests were carried out. The measured results include the load checking calculation, lane loading and crowd load, and dead load. A good agreement is achieved between the experimental and analytical results. Both experimental and analytical results have shown that the SBSSAB is in the elastic state under the planned test loads, which indicates that the SBSSAB has an adequate load-capacity. The calibrated finite-element model that reflects the as-built conditions can be used as a baseline for health monitoring and future maintenance of the SBSSAB.

  • The purpose of this study is to diagnose the current states and the problems of student assessment of Elementary School Mathematics. For that purpose, this study conducted a survey and had the individual interviews. The surrey items consisted of the six main parts: questions about the development of assessment tools, the method to assess, the grading, the special supplementary courses, the opening of learning effect, and the follow-up guidances. The results of this study are as the follow First, elementary teachers depended heavily on internet sites for developing assessment problems. Second, elementary teachers made use of a performance assessment, a unit assessment, and a term examination at ordinary times. Third, unit assessment was largely referred for grading by elementary teachers. Fourth, in selecting the students for the special supplementary courses, both criterion-referenced assessment and norm-referenced assessment were considered. After finishing the special supplementary courses, additional tests were usually taken. Fifth, elementary teachers took a negative attitude in opening of learning effect. specialty opening of test paper to parents of students was done under 30%. Sixth, fellow-up guidances were the most through the classroom guidances. but consulting with parents of students was not frequently conducted by teachers.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve specialized high school of electrical field-to-work transition by a SWOT Analysis. The subject analyzed the curricula of 12 special highschool and surveyed 192 vocational teachers of them. In this study, a SWOT matrix was filled to improve transition from electric special high school to work, and the results was gotten as follows: First, the government should offer the military service special case for students of electric special high school, strengthen the course of CEO for the school master, and make the system to expand job training. Second, the provincial office of education should aid a functional training with a administrative ability and financial support, offer a list of industry visiting teachers to specialized high school, and promote a modification of the department according to a growth industry of the area. Third, each school should present a school education goal agreed with the purpose of specialized department and intensify the counselling of job selection and the application of the approved textbook.

  • Toll-like receptors (TLRs) can recognize conserved molecular patterns and initiate a wide range of innate and adaptive immune responses against invading infectious agents. The aim of this study was to assess the transcript profile of mink TLRs (mTLRs) in mink peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and a range of tissues, and to explore the potential role of mTLRs in the antiviral immune response process. The results indicated that the mTLR partial nucleotide sequences had a high degree of nucleotide identity with ferret sequences (95-98%). Phylogenetic analysis showed that mammalian TLRs grouped into five TLR families, with a closer relationship of the mTLRs with those of ferret than the other mammalian sequences. Moreover, all the mTLRs were ubiquitously expressed in lymphoid organs (spleen and lymph nodes) and PBMCs. Interestingly, the mTLR expression patterns in lung, uterus, and heart showed quite a lot of similarity. Another remarkable observation was the wide expression of mTLR1-3 mRNAs in all tissues. Among the analyzed tissues, skeletal muscle was revealed to being the lowest repertoire of mTLR expression. Additionally, mink PBMCs exposed to the canine distemper virus revealed significant upregulation of mTLR2, mTLR4, mTLR7, and mTLR8 mRNAs, indicating that mTLRs have a role in innate immunity in the mink. Collectively, our results are the first to establish the basic expression patterns of mTLRs and the relationship between mTLRs and a virus, which will contribute to better understanding of the evolution and the functions of mTLRs in the innate immune system in minks.

  • This study, at this point where a national attention is being focused on the special education for brilliant children after the enactment of the law regarding the promotion of the special education for brilliant children and the establishments of various policies on the education of excellence, investigated and analyzed the perceptions of students who are participating in the program for elementary school brilliant children on mathematics. First, the understanding of the area of the definition of brilliant students by the teachers with the institutions for the special education for brilliant children that use the program for elementary school brilliant children on mathematics should be increased. Second, the professionality of the teachers should be secured for an efficient operation of the program for elementary school brilliant children on mathematics. Third, the students who participated in the special education lot brilliant children tended to be self-initiative in participating in the program but the self-initiative aspect was insufficient in the lessons. Fourth, the students who are participating in the special education for brilliant children have positive opinions on the contents and methods of the lessons. Fifth, as for the materials for brilliant children's learning supplied to the program for elementary school brilliant children on mathematics, the brilliant students perceive them as the teaching materials for brilliant children. In this thesis, the program for special education for brilliant children was assessed and analyzed through the questionnaires to the teachers and students participating in the program. More abundant brilliant children programs should be developed so that the programs suitable the brilliant students can be provided to the students and the studies to improve the programs with regards to the effectiveness etc should be continually done from now on.
