After the "spatial turn" space narrative has become the hottest "doctrine". Howe er, the current space narrative to a bottleneck stage, a variety of reasons. "Spatial turn" of the modern trend of thought has a unshirkable responsibility. Has been, scholars turned to "empty" the complex relationship between space narrative and, type of narrative space narrative theory problem also not too clear by the noun, the term textual research, narrative of space studies provide some of the necessary theoretical support, to promote the healthy de elopment of the research on novel narrative space.

This study was performed to construct the spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture based on Froebel's educational idea and building gifts. Especially, it studies on the geometrical principles of Froebel's building gifts and it's types, and then illustrates applied examples about design vocabularies, spatial relations and shape rules of the spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture. The conclusions of this study that starts these purpose are as follows. First, Froebel's educational theory is based on principles and rules which are perceived through the observation of nature, and Froebel's kindergarten method consists of geometrical building gifts and categories of geometrical forms. Second, the characteristics of Froebel's building gifts are mathematical size, proportion, symmetry and the rules of spatial relation. Third, the development to the construction of spatial systems and shape grammars in architecture focus on the vocabularies of architectural elements, and Froebel's building gifts are used for illustration of examples in these formula.

A new GIS software Spatial Database Engine(SDE) has been developed to integrated with spatial database that combines conventional and spatially related data. As we known well in the traditional relation database system, the query evaluation techniques are a well-researched subject, many useful and efficient algorithms have been proposed, but in the spatial database system, it is a litter difference with the traditionally ones. Based on the Query Graph Model(QGM), we implemented our own query evaulation plan in the SDE, which can deal with the full functionality query statement SELECT-FROM-WHERE_GROUPBY-HAVING, and treat the spatial data and non-spatial data seamlessly. We proposed a novel multi way join algorithm base on nest loop that may be attractive.

The study aims at finding out the spatial configuration of a small art museums through the analysis of visual Perception in spatial layouts. In so doing to analyze the characteristics of spatial perception in visual layouts and identity of space to evaluate the spatial construction with relation to the role of small art museums. Purpose of this study is to offer basic data to contribute effectiveness of the architectural planning of a small art museums by understanding of visual element of design and ultimately to make efficient use of space.

본 연구의 목적은 9학년 학생의 공간능력 차이에 따른 지구자전 개념을 알아보는 것이다. 광역시 소재 9학년 학생 83명중 천체의 공간운동 개념 평가(김기정, 1997)에서 개념 획득 정도가 비슷하면서 공간능력에 차이가 있는 남학생 2명과 여학생 2명을 각각 표집하여 질적 분석의 대상으로 삼았다. 연구 결과, 공간능력이 높은 학생일수록 개념이 올바르고 개념들을 입체적 공간으로 재구성하여 이해하였다. 공간능력이 낮을수록 개념이 불완전하고 단편적인 개념들을 암기하고 있었다. 성별에 따라서는 공간능력이 높은 남학생은 개념들을 간단 명료하게 표현하였고, 낮은 학생은 자전에 대한 방향을 일주운동과 연관시켜 해석하지 못했다. 반면에 여학생은 공간능력이 높을 때 개념들을 구체적으로 표현하였으며, 낮을수록 개념들을 입체적으로 표현하지 못하였다. 따라서 공간능력이 높은 학생은 문제 상황을 제시하여 스스로 해결할 수 있도록 하고, 낮은 학생은 현상들을 직접 관찰하여 쉽게 이해 할 수 있도록 학습 자료를 개발하여야겠다. 여학생은 공간을 입체적으로 조작해 볼 수 있도록 하고 남학생은 사물을 여러 관점으로 생각해 볼 수 있도록 교수 전략 및 학습 자료 등을 개발 한다면 천문단원의 공간능력이 향상되고, 개념 획득이 잘 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

실세계의 공간이나 이에 대응되는 가상세계의 공간은 공간의 일부인 지역(region)들과 그것들을 차지하고 있는 물리적 객체(physical object)들로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 공간 구성요소들간의 공간관계의 표현의 실제와의 부합성과 다양성은 이러한 공간에서 활동하는 에이전트의 공간관계 추론이나 이벤트(event)의 전개의 사설성과 정교함의 바탕이 된다. GIS나 AI 분야에서 연구되고 있는 기존의 공간관계 모델들은 객체의 규모에 따라 이원화된 영역에 적절한 모델들이거나 제한된 위상관계만 표현할 수 있기 때문에 다양한 지역과 객체를 가진 일반적 공간의 통합적 표현에는 부적합하다. 본 연구에서 개발될 공간표현 모델은, 첫째 대규모 공간과 소규모 공간 관계에 통합적으로 적용가능한 계층구조를 바탕으로 구성한다. 둘째, 소규모 객체들간에도 disjoint나 touch와 같이 제한된 위상 공간관계(topological relations)만이 아닌 접촉관계와 구성요소객체들의 조합을 바탕으로 하여 충분히 다양한 공간관계를 표현할 수 있도록 세분화한다. 셋째, solid object에 대비되는 container성질을 추가하고 중력 방향을 고려하여 공간관계를 추가로 다양화한다. 본 연구의 결과인 중력의 영향을 고려한 통합적 공간관계 모델은 컴퓨터상에서 실세계와 유사한 복잡한 가상공간을 공간적 사건들과 연관지어 정밀하게 시뮬레이션할 수 있게 하고 가상공간에서 에이전트들이 행동을 할 때 공간적 측면의 상황판단을 할 수 있도록 가상공간에 대한 에이전트들의 공간적 지식을 표현하는 수단을 제공한다.

This study is on the relations between space boundary system and spatial effects. The system is consist of circulation axis & territory and vision axis & vision limit. The former is the spatial characteristic and the later is the time one. The purpose of this case study is confirm the correlation of the both and the spatial effect which is caused by space boundary system. Boundary is enable us to cognize 'territory' and intermediary of each territories. The facts that forms space boundary system are circulation axis & territory and vision axis & vision limit. The space boundary system could be categorized by congregation of these facts. and categorizing is determined with agreement degree of each couple of facts. Categorizing facts on the space boundary system are relevant to spatial effect, especially territory, directness, continuity and concentration.

최근 GIS 분야에서는 GIS와 동적 프로세스 모델링에 기반한 셀룰라 오토마타(CA)의 결합을 통한 공간모델링 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 선행 연구에서의 CA 모델링은 해결하고자 하는 문제의 핵심이 되는 규칙을 찾아내는 기능은 제공하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GIS와 지식 발견 기법을 이용하여 공간 연관규칙을 추출하는 방법론을 제시하고 실제 사례에 적용하였다. 이러한 방법론의 제시는 CA 모델링의 기능을 더욱 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다. 또한 본 연구에서 사례로 적용한 도시지역 확장 외에 다양한 문제에 대한 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

This paper aims to clarify the Spatial Form of the Port Settlement of Rivershore in Nakdong-river. The web of road is composed of three basic elements, kyeongjeon-seon railroad, inner old coastal street, a narrow gauge railway. The basic road system is composed of Hon-machi dori (Main street) parallel to the coastal line and three perpendicular roads. According to these road patterns, plot of the lands in the block are formed into distinctive trapezoidal shape. To conclude, the Spatial Form of Samrangjin's Port Settlement might explain as a relation of Rivershore's shape and marketplace's spatial form.

Several studies made for wireless mesh networks aim to optimize the capacity for wireless networks. Aside from protocol improvements, researches were also done on the physical layer particularly on modulation techniques and antenna efficiency schemes. This paper is concerned with the capacity improvements derived from using spatial diversity with smart adaptive array antennas. The use of spatial diversity, which has been widely proposed for use in cellular networks in order to lessen frequency re-use, can be used in mesh networks both to minimize co-channel interference (CCI) and enable multiple transmissions. This paper aims to study the capacity region and bounds in using smart antennas for single-channel multi-radio systems in relation to the number of spatial diversity or sectors as defined by the beam angle $\beta$.
