다양한 사전하중에 적용할 수 있는 Ni-Cr wire와 Kevlar rope를 이용한 위성 분리장치 (The compatible non-explosive separation device for various pre-loads using the Ni-Cr wire and Kevlar rope)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 복잡한 구조를 가지는 비폭발식 분리장치를 단순화시켜 니크롬 와이어와 케블라 로프를 이용한 새로운 개념의 비폭발식 분리 메커니즘을 설계/제작하고 기초성능 평가(사전하중, 분리시간, 충격 실험 등)를 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 니크롬 와이어의 회전횟수에 따라 다양한 사전하중 하에서 작동이 가능한 것을 확인하였고, 최대 6.0kN의 사전하중 하에서 110G의 충격을 발생시키며 680ms의 짧은 시간에 분리되는 것을 확인하여 제안된 분리장치의 유용성을 확인하였다. 추후 발사환경 및 우주환경 시험을 통하여 제안된 분리장치의 우주인증을 수행하고 다양한 사전하중에서 작동 신뢰도를 확보하여 태양 전지 패널의 전개뿐만이 아니라 페어링 분리 등 다양한 용도에 사용이 가능하도록 개발하고자 한다.

3종류의 구치부 Uprighting Spring의 초기응력분포에 관한 광탄성학적 연구 (A PHOTOELASTIC STUDY ON THE INITIAL STRESS DISTRIBUTION BY 3 TYPES OF MOLAR UPRIGHITNG SPRING)

  • The aim of this investigation was to identify which suing is more suitable for uprighting of the 30 degree inclined lower second molar in different situations. Between four different molar uprighting springs which were A, B, C type and T-loop spring, the author tested T-loop suing as a control material and the other springs were experimental group. Each spring was fabricated from .017' $\times$ .025' TMA wire and preactivated with 40 degree tip-back bend. Stabilizing unit included from the lower right central incisor to the lower right second premolar which were made by acrylic resin. The photoelastic overview of the lower right quadrant showed that stress concentrations were observed in its photoelastic model. The obtained results were as follows. 1. Higher concentration of compression can be seen clearly at the distal curvature than the mesial of the lower second molar when A type uprighting spring was applied, which can be used as a space regainer. 2. Higher level compression was presented at the mesial root apex area than the distal of the lower second molar in B type uprighting spring, which can be used as a space closer. 3. Areas of higher compression and tension were observed about the mesial and distal root of the lower second moalr than A and B type in C type uprighting spring, which can be used as a partial space regainer.

  • In these days, Korea Railway apply simple catenary system to general lines and high speed lines of Korea Electric Railway. Circulation Current in catenary system frequently bring undesirable consequences. Namely, the Connector wire has many problems according to a flow of excessive circulation (or traction current) and a sudden rise of temperature on catenary when electric car or locomotive is running in high speed. The occurrence of events by the load increasement do considerable damages to peoples, organizations and systems. On a case by case accidents, the reeltype protective cover as part of various methods has some problems. In this project, we proposed the improved changes on the catenary system of a improvement and change of a messenger wire protector, improvement of connector wire's institution angle and of a replacement the connector wire with a dropper. Its tridimensional space limitation dictated the scale of the $32{\times}{\Phi}55$ to be as small as possible. It is easier to install than work by the existing cover on the messenger wire.

  • In this paper, authors developed a real-time simulation algorithm for the power device application of HTS(High Temperature Superconducting) wire by using Real Time Digital Simulator(RTDS). At present, in order to extend the power capacity of some area where has a serious problem of power quality. especially metropolitan complex city, there are so many problems such as right of way for power line routes. space for downtown substations. and the environmental protection, etc. HTS technology can be useful to overcome this problem. Recently, according to the advanced HTS technology, the power application is being researched well. Simulation is required for safety before installation of HTS power cable, a fabrication model used at the power system simulation. This paper describes a real time digital simulation method for the application of HTS wire to power device. For the simulation analysis, test sample of HTS wire was actually manufactured. And the transient phenomenon of the HTS wire was analysed in the simulated utility power grid. This simulation method is the world first trial in order to obtain much better information for installation of HTS power device into a utility network.

  • In recent years, fiberoptic technology is becoming indispensable in establishing communication networks due to its low loss, high capacity and non-inductive properties. In the power industry as well, the technology is being required to cable and facility monitering, and control system. But, duct in the manhole and space in the culvert are required to fiberoptic cable that is separated from power cable. Therefore, some cable makers and R&D has been studying the composite fiber/power cables. This report introduces the outline of ABF system, construction and properties of optical composite power cable that used ABF technology.

Thermal-hydraulic analysis of He-Xe gas mixture in 2×2 rod bundle wrapped with helical wires

  • Gas-cooled space reactor, which adopts He-Xe gas mixture as working fluid, is a better choice for megawatt power generation. In this paper, thermal-hydraulic characteristics of He-Xe gas mixture in 2×2 rod bundle wrapped with helical wires is numerically investigated. The velocity, pressure and temperature distribution of the coolant are obtained and analyzed. The results show that the existence of helical wires forms the vortexes and changes the velocity and temperature distribution. Hot spots are found at the contact corners between helical wires and fuel rods. The highest temperature of the hot spots reach 1600K, while the mainstream temperature is less than 400K. The helical wire structure increases the friction pressure drop by 20%-50%. The effect extent varies with the pitch and the number of helical wires. The helical wire structure leads to the reduction of Nusselt number. Comparing thermal-hydraulic performance ratios (THPR) of different structures, the THPR values are all less than 1. It means that gas-cooled space reactor adopting helical wires could not strengthen the core heat removal performance. This work provides the thermal-hydraulic design basis for He-Xe gas cooled space nuclear reactor.

평판 경계층과 후류와의 상호관계에 관한 연구; 평균속도장 (An Experimental Study of Mutual Relation between Wake and Boundary Layer of a Flat Plate; Mean Velocity Field)

  • 평판의 근접 후류에서 상류 경계층의 영향을 조사하기 위한 실험적 연구가 수행되었다. 트리핑 와이어(tripping wire)의 여러 부착 위치가 경계층의 유동조건을 유발시키기 위하여 선택되었다. 평판 앞전에서부터 0.98C 위치에서의 층류, 천이, 난류경계층이 대칭, 비대칭 후류의 발달과정을 조사하기 위하여 부과되었다. X형태의 열선 프로브(55P61)를 이용한 측정은 근접 후류의 8위치에서 수행되었고, 측정된 평균속도분포는 기존의 후류 상사변수로 무차원화 되어 제시되었다. 대칭 후류는 후류의 중앙부분에서 기존의 상사곡선과 일치하지만, 비대칭 후류는 측정된 범위에서 기존의 상사 곡선과 일치하지 않았다.

  • 대한항공은 유인 헬리콥터를 무인화 후 원격 조종으로 제자리 비행을 수행하는 것을 무인 헬리콥터 개발의 1단계 목표로 수립하였다. 개발 목표를 달성하기 위해 대한항공은 유인기의 창급정비와 기체 개조 수행 후 체계통합, 지상시험, 안전줄 시험을 순차적으로 수행하며 단계별로 무인 헬리콥터 체계의 조종성과 비행안전성을 검증하였다. 특히 검증의 마지막 단계에서 사용한 안전줄시험 기법은 완전무인화된 무인 헬리콥터 체계에 대해 비행안전성과 조종성을 검증할 수 있는 유효한 방법임을 확인하였다.

Extended RCA법을 이용한 자동차 전장 경로 설정 모듈의 개발 (A Development of Wire Path Searching Module Using Extended RCA Method)

  • This study deals with the development of wire path searching module as a part of automobile wire harness design system. Wire path searching module manages the free space, finds transition locations, and creates bundle paths to dramatically reduce a tedious iterative routing process which results in easy optimization of the bundle paths. A prime policy in the system configuration is to compromise between man's and computer's ability, and make it possible a designer's leading role in designing process. Human input is indispensable to cope with the special cases which were not considered in the initial design stage of the system. In this study, we improve the previous shortest-path-finding algorithm, (VGraph and RCA method) into a new method called Extended RCA. Bundles, connectors and transitions are handled as objects so one can manage and modify physical properties of the objects easily. Therefore a verification is allowed at any desired stage of design. The reuse of previous result is facilitated by using Dependency Structure, which represents the mutual relations among connectors, transitions, and bundles. Dependency Structure makes it possible the elimination of redundant calculating process, and consequently shorter routing time.

와이어 망을 이용한 충돌 수분류의 열전달 증진 (Heat Transfer Augmenttaion by use of Wire Mesh-Screens in Impinging Water Jet)

  • Axisymmetric circular water jet impinges against rectangular heated surface with uniform hear flux and wire-mesh screens are set up in the nozzle-to-heater space to augment heat transfer. In the free jet region to be used them, pressure drop and intensive turbulence flow was brought up. When water jet system is not used wire-mesh screens, maximum heat transfer appears in the stagnation point and the secondary maximum appears X/D=4 but it disappears when they are is used. In the low velocity(Vo<6.0m/s), coarse mesh-screen enhanced heat transfer but fine mesh-screens inpeded heat transfer. In the high velocity(Vo>6m/s), all of them enhanced heat transfer. Average Nusselt number of experimental system to be used wire-mesh screens was promoted $4{\sim}6$times than that of simple water jet system. The stagnation heat transfer of experimental system to be used wire-mesh screens was augmented 6times that of simple water jet system.
