1997년 제정된 "고등학교 이하 각급학교 설립 운영규정"에 명시된 학교시설 면적기준은 현행 교육과정과 갈수록 다양해지는 교육정책들을 그 목적과 기능에 맞게 구현하기에는 그 수준이 낮은 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 현행 교육정책과 교육과정을 반영한 학교시설 면적을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 우선 국내의 학교시설 면적기준 및 관련 문헌을 조사, 분석한다. 둘째, 한국교육개발원 교육 통계 DB를 활용하여 학교급별 교지면적, 연면적, 학생 1인당 면적 등에 대한 현황을 분석한다. 셋째, 도면분석, 현장실태 및 설문조사를 통해 기존 학교시설의 실태 및 사용자의 만족도를 분석한다. 넷째, Nelson의 자기수정모형 방식을 활용하여 스페이스 프로그램을 산출하고, 이를 토대로 학교급별 시설 면적기준(안)을 제안한다.

인터넷을 통해서 수집할 수 있는 정보가 방대해지고 검색엔진이 고도화되면서 웹을 사용해서 정보를 수집하는 것이 일반화되었다. 전자책 등 디지털 자료는 인터넷이 가능한 곳에서는 어디서든지 이용할 수 있으며 디지털 정보에 대한 수요는 더욱 더 늘어날 것이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 자료의 중요성과 비중이 커짐에 따라 전통적인 종이 자료와 디지털 자료의 모두를 한 공간에서 다루는 새로운 도서관의 모델을 제안하기 위해 문헌조사, 큐슈대학 부속도서관의 각종 통계자료 분석, 도면 및 현장조사 등을 분석하였다. 연구결과 도서관은 자료의 제공 이외에도 학습의 장소, 커뮤니티를 위한 사람들의 교류의 장소 등 사회 문화적 역할도 중요하며, 또한 디지털 자료의 비중이 커지면서 도서관 "공간"의 역할에 대하여 근본적으로 재검토할 필요가 있었다. 도서관의 공간을 매체의 형태와는 관계없이 주제 중심으로 하나의 공간에 재구성하는 하이브리드도서관에서는 이용자가 동일한 지역에 체류하면서 도서관자료나 인적서비스 등 원스톱 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있다.

This study examines the space composition and character of Elizabethan Theater base on the theory of drama and Shakespeares play in the english traditional theater. Contemporary multi purpose theater and public space is considered as a symbolic representation of the Elizabethan theaters organization and renaissance culture. In the historical theory, the Shakespeares theater was a common tool and best systeme in reflecting peoples lives. This role of theater as mass culture and new style of theater permanent design has get its value with the population increase and the urban centralization of the city and urban common sense. This study attempts to reevaluate the need of public space in modern society through a critical review of theater and its use as a open space design. Content analysis was used to discuss the topics of this study including the historical background of the theater, the relationship between Greek culture and modern design, and the role of scenery, auditorium and its impact on urban environment. The scope of the study is limited to the comparison of Elizabethan theater and space use program from the space critic and sociologist. Today the concept of theatrical space is altered with the advent of non-objects and multi media space. This study provides insights for the future implications of theatrical space in developing public space for its a new definition as cultural representation.

When one speaks of space in architecture, one immediately thinks of an entity that is an enclosed space. For most people , space is therefore equated with interior space. And in most discussions of architectural space the character of the outside and that of the inside have been strictly differentiated. But architectural space must be construed as a total , integral space. In this way , architectural space can articulate naturality. For example, by reasserting the eloquence of architecture and by graphically characterizing the different parts of the building. Ungers has moved far away from the traditional ideas of a modern movement that preached the homogeneity of all parts. so promoting uniformity and an expressionless monotony. From this perspective comes the purpose of this study which is to present :1. the character and meaning of the boundary that differentiates the outside from the inside of the architecture. 2. the types of the organization of the interior-space and the differences between those types. 3. the new concept of the interior -space through the analysis of the concept "Haus im Haus" that over-comes the polarity of the outside and the inside of ar-chitecture. This result comes from the idea that harmony is a-chieved not by resolving this polarity into one or the other extreme, but by allowing coexistence of both as-pects.

Recently, the space organization of Korean-Chinese houses is different from that of other territories. The characteristics of eating and dinning space for Korean-Chinese Multi-family Housing are as follows ; ⅰ) The most obvious change in Korean-Chinese urban housing style was seen in kitchen space, which can be classify three types such as traditional type, improved type, and LDK type on the bases of heating and cooking method. ⅱ) Special feature of Korean-Chinese housing in Yanji city was that kitchen fulfilled important functions such as heating, cooking, dinning, sleeping, bathing and washing. Since then, each function was separated and functions of kitchen were cut down after all. iii) The arrangement of kitchen space have changeed according to the change of heating fuel, heating system, equipment, relatcd policy, etx. Multi-function kitchen discovered only in Yanji had lasted until 1980's by equipping heating floor system, which is suitable for sit-down living style. In 1990's, this kitchen style was prohibited legally, and the balcony area of kitchen widened due to the abolition of outdoor storehouse for foodstuff.

Recently the change of social environment has influence on the conditions of space for the community welfare center. And so the relation of space and function required the change. The important role of the social welfare center is family welfare, domiciliary and community care, community organization etc. In this sence, this study explore the condition of space planning for the community welfare center. For this study, it was reviewed the role and function, the service program, the usage characteristics. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and synthesized through case study and could be used in the guidelines as reference information for the future centers.

The recent change of the medical treatment market is reforming the hospital space. The death-rate caused by cancer diseases is increasing in the domestic and outside of the country. The specialized hospital for cancer patients must be required. This study analyzed the space structures of the main section in cancer hospitals with the comparison analysis method. Space structures of domestic cancer hospitals are not specialized comparing to other nations' cancer hospitals. The conclusion of this research is that we need the architectural planning standards of the specialized cancer hospital through the space structure mainly concerning patients.

The recent change of social environment has influence on the configuration of space for the social welfare center. And so the relation of space and function required the change of spatial configuration. The social welfare center fills the role of family welfare, domiciliary care, community organization etc. In such sence, this study explore the conditions of spatial configuration for the domiciliary and community care unit of social welfare centers in small city. For this study, it was investigated the space role and funtion, the service program, the usage characteristics, the room satisfaction of social workers. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and colligated by case study. It could be used in the design criteria of domiciliary care unit for the social welfare center in small city.

The purpose of this study is to understand the architectural changes that occurred in the main space of Deoksugung Palace based on the Deoksugung Wonan. In the 1910s, constructions in the Deokhongjeon area and Hamnyeongjeon area caused a change in the main space of Deoksugung Palace, which is similar to the change in the central space of Changdeokgung Palace. In both palaces, the space composition, architectural structure, construction equipment, and architectural design of the palace were changed due to the changed architectural organization and construction system.
