Die-to-wafer (D2W) hybrid bonding in the multilayer semiconductor manufacturing process is one of wafer direct bonding, and various studies are being conducted around the world. A noteworthy point in the current die-to-wafer process is that a lot of voids occur on the bonding surface of the die during bonding. In this study, as a suggested method for removing voids generated during the D2W hybrid bonding process, a flexible mechanism for implementing convex for die bonding to be applied to the bond head is proposed. In addition, modeling of flexible mechanisms, analysis/design/control/evaluation of static/dynamics properties are performed. The proposed system was controlled by capacitive sensor (lion precision, CPL 290), piezo actuator (P-888,91), and dSpace. This flexure mechanism implemented a working range of 200 ㎛, resolution(3σ) of 7.276nm, Inposition(3σ) of 3.503nm, settling time(2%) of 500.133ms by applying a reverse bridge type mechanism and leaf spring guide, and at the same time realized a maximum step difference of 6 ㎛ between die edge and center. The results of this study are applied to the D2W hybrid bonding process and are expected to bring about an effect of increasing semiconductor yield through void removal. In addition, it is expected that it can be utilized as a system that meets the convex variable amount required for each device by adjusting the elongation amount of the piezo actuator coupled to the flexible mechanism in a precise unit.

Since the concept of Manned-UnManned Teaming(MUM-T) and Unmanned Aircraft System(UAS) can efficiently respond to rapidly changing battle space, many studies are being conducted as key components of the mosaic warfare environment. In this paper, we propose a rule-based AI engagement model based on Basic Fighter Maneuver(BFM) capable of Within-Visual-Range(WVR) air-to-air combat and a simulation environment in which human pilots can participate. In order to develop a rule-based AI engagement model that can pilot a fighter with a 6-DOF dynamics model, tactical manuals and human pilot experience were configured as knowledge specifications and modeled as a behavior tree structure. Based on this, we improved the shortcomings of existing air combat models. The proposed model not only showed a 100 % winning rate in engagement with human pilots, but also visualized decision-making processes such as tactical situations and maneuvering behaviors in real time. We expect that the results of this research will serve as a basis for development of various AI-based engagement models and simulators for human pilot training and embedded software test platform for fighter.

The hypothesis of the study of the article is that the use of elements of artificial intelligence will increase the effectiveness of the educational process of the university if: a set of pedagogical conditions for the construction and use of an expert system with elements of artificial intelligence in the educational process of the university is revealed; a model for preparing a future teacher of vocational training for the use of elements of artificial intelligence has been developed; a special course has been developed that contributes to the implementation of the professional orientation of education. In accordance with this, the following tasks were studied in the article: An analysis of scientific and methodological research in the field of the current state, prospects for the development and use of elements of artificial intelligence in the preparation of a future teacher of vocational training and to determine the dynamics of the introduction of intelligent expert systems in education; A set of pedagogical conditions for the construction and use of an expert system with elements of artificial intelligence in the educational process of a university is revealed; It is substantiated to develop a model for preparing a teacher of vocational training to use elements of artificial intelligence.

In this pressentation it is argued that the heterogeneity of a hydrologic attribute which may seem to be nonstationary at one scale, may become stationary at a larger scale. The fundamental reason for transformation from nonstationarity to stationarity whith the increase in scale is the phenomenon of coarse-graining of the hydrologic processes with increasing scale. Due to the phenomenon of aliasing, a particular scale hydrologic process heterogeneity which is observed as a nonstationary process at that scale, may be observed as a stationary process at a higher(larger) scale whose size is bigger than the stationary extent of the lower scale heterogeneity. As one goes through a hierarchical sequence of larger and larger scales for observations, one would eliminate nonstationarities which emerge at some lower scales at the expense of losing information on the high frequency fluctuations of the lower scale heterogeneities which will no longer be observed at the larger sampling scales. We call this phenimenon as the "coarse-graining in hydrologic observations". In this presentation, it is also argued that by the coarse-graining of hydrologic processes due to the averaging and aliasing operations at increasing scales, the conservation laws corresponging to these scales may still be quite parsimonious, and need not be more complicated as the scales get larger. It is shown that shen a higher(larger) scale process is formed by averaging a lower(smaller) scale process in time or space, the high frequency components of the lower scale process will be eliminated by the averaging operation. Thereby, the resuliiting average hydrologic dynamics, free from the effects of the high frequency components of the lower scale process, can still be quite simple in form. This is demonstrated by means of some recent upscaling work on the solute teansport conservation equation for hetergeneous aquifers. By means of this solute transport example, it is also shown that for the ensemble average form of a hydrologic conservation equation to be equivalent to its volume-average form at any scale, the parameter functions of that conservation equation at the immediately lower scale must be ergodic.
Purpose - This paper aims to investigate the competitiveness and complementarity of the agricultural products trade between Korea and Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) countries. The study evaluates the opportunities and challenges that Korea's agricultural sector faces after joining the CPTPP, and suggests strategies to deepen cooperation and expand Korea's agricultural products trade. Design/methodology - To achieve these objectives, we analyze the trade competition and cooperation relationship between Korea and CPTPP countries in the agricultural products trade. This study uses data from Chapters HS1-24 in UN Comtrade from 2012 to 2022, and applies the indices of revealed comparative advantage, export similarity, and trade complementarity to examine the trade dynamics. Furthermore, we use an Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model to predict the agricultural products trade complementarity index between Korea and CPTPP countries from 2022 to 2031. Findings - The findings of our analysis reveal that Korea's agricultural products trade competitiveness is weak compared to that of CPTPP countries, and Korea's agricultural products are at a competitive disadvantage. On the whole, the similarity index of agricultural products trade exports between Korea and CPTPP countries is low, the structure of agricultural products export is quite different, and trade competition is relatively moderate. The trade complementarity index between Korea and CPTPP countries is generally high, with strong complementarity and a large space for cooperation and development. The ARIMA model shows that in the next ten years, although the agricultural products trade complementarity index fluctuates, but is generally high, there will still be a complementarity advantage in the future. Originality/value - This study is the first attempt to investigate the competitiveness and complementarity of the agricultural products trade between Korea and CPTPP countries. We also introduce an ARIMA model to forecast and analyze the future agricultural products trade complementarity index. Our study provides new perspectives and solutions for the future development of Korea's agricultural products trade after joining the CPTPP.
Small streams, despite their rich ecosystems, face challenges in vegetation assessment due to the limitations of traditional, time-consuming methods. This study presents a groundbreaking approach, combining unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs), convolutional neural networks(CNNs), and the vegetation differential vegetation index (VDVI), to revolutionize both assessment and management of stream vegetation. Focusing on Idong Stream in South Korea (2.7 km long, 2.34 km2 basin area)with eight diverse revetment methods, we leveraged high-resolution RGB images captured by UAVs across five dates (July-December). These images trained a ResNeXt101 CNN model, achieving an impressive 89% accuracy in classifying vegetation cover(soil,water, and vegetation). This enabled detailed spatial and temporal analysis of vegetation distribution. Further, VDVI calculations on classified vegetation areas allowed assessment of vegetation vitality. Our key findings showcase the power of this approach:(a) TheCNN model generated highly accurate cover maps, facilitating precise monitoring of vegetation changes overtime and space. (b) August displayed the highest average VDVI(0.24), indicating peak vegetation growth crucial for stabilizing streambanks and resisting flow. (c) Different revetment methods impacted vegetation vitality. Fieldstone sections exhibited initial high vitality followed by decline due to leaf browning. Block-type sections and the control group showed a gradual decline after peak growth. Interestingly, the "H environment block" exhibited minimal change, suggesting potential benefits for specific ecological functions.(d) Despite initial differences, all sections converged in vegetation distribution trends after 15 years due to the influence of surrounding vegetation. This study demonstrates the immense potential of UAV-based remote sensing and CNNs for revolutionizing small-stream vegetation assessment and management. By providing high-resolution, temporally detailed data, this approach offers distinct advantages over traditional methods, ultimately benefiting both the environment and surrounding communities through informed decision-making for improved stream health and ecological conservation.

This study using the active vibration control technique attempts to alleviate numerically the airframe vibration of a UH-60A helicopter. The AVCS(Active Vibration Control System) is applied to reduce the 4/rev vibration responses at the specified locations of the UH-60A airframe. The 4/rev hub vibratory loads of the UH-60A rotor is predicted using the nonlinear flexible dynamics analysis code, DYMORE II. Various tools such as NDARC, MSC.NASTRAN, and MATLAB Simulink are used for the AVCS simulation with five CRFGs and seven accelerometers. At a flight speed of 158knots, the predicted 4/rev hub vibratory loads of UH-60A rotor excite the airframe, and then the 4/rev vibration responses at the specified airframe positions such as the pilot seat, rotor-fuselage joint, mid-cabin, and aft-cabin are calculated without and with AVCS. The 4/rev vibration responses at all the locations and directions are reduced by from 25.14 to 96.05% when AVCS is used, as compared to the baseline results without AVCS.
Purpose: Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is the most widely used technique to regenerate and augment bones. Even though augmented bones (ABs) have been examined histologically in many studies, few studies have been conducted to examine the biological potential of these bones and the healing dynamics following their use. Moreover, whether the bone obtained from the GBR procedure possesses the same functions as the existing autogenous bone is uncertain. In particular, little attention has been paid to the regenerative ability of GBR bone. Therefore, the present study histologically evaluated the regenerative capacity of AB in the occlusive space of a rat guided bone augmentation (GBA) model. Methods: The calvaria of 30 rats were exposed, and plastic caps were placed on the right of the calvaria in 10 of the 30 rats. After a 12-week healing phase, critical-sized calvarial bone defects (diameter: 5.0 mm) were trephined into the dorsal parietal bone on the left of the calvaria. Bone particles were harvested from the AB or the cortical bone (CB) using a bone scraper and transplanted into the critical defects. Results: The newly generated bone at the defects' edge was evaluated using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) and histological sections. In the micro-CT analysis, the radiopacity in both the augmented and the CB groups remained high throughout the observational period. In the histological analysis, the closure rate of the CB was significantly higher than in the AB group. The numbers of cells positive for runt-related transcription factor 2 (Runx2) and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) in the AB group were larger than in the CB group. Conclusions: The regenerative capacity of AB in the occlusive space of the rat GBA model was confirmed. Within the limitations of this study, the regenerative ability of the AB particulate transplant was inferior to that of the CB particulate transplant.

Since the 1990s, political geographers have focused on the study of the process of border construction. They have shifted from the old morphological and functional approaches to boundary that have focused on the types and functions of boundaries. Recent scholarship on border studies understand boundaries and the border regions as entities with overlapping and competing relationships not as manifestation of territoriality. There has been the emphasis on the multidimensional actors and the historical and cultural legacies inherent in the border region as well. Based on these recent discussions, this study examines how the border region has been constructed by various actors and strategies in Dandong China, the border city between North Korea and China. Several sanctions including UN Security Council have been resolved and implemented in accordance with North Korea's nuclear and missile development, which is a relevant example to examine the "border as relationships" in which strategies of various actors are competing. In addition, this paper has a significance as a case study on the construction process of border and the characteristics of its materiality, which is a way to overcome the limitation of discourse-oriented critical geopolitical research.

Abstract It is necessary to verify the properties of an inertial measurement unit in the flight environment before applying to military applications. In this paper, we presented a new approach to verify an inertial measurement unit(IMU) in regard to the performance and the robustness in flight environments for the high-dynamics vehicle systems. We proposed two methods for verification of an IMU. We confirmed normal operation of an IMU and properties in flight environment by using direct comparison method. And we proposed real time multi-navigation system to complement the first method. The proposed method made it possible to compare navigation result at the same time. Therefore, it is easy to analyze the performance of an inertial navigation system and robustness during the vehicle flight. To verify the proposed method, we carried out a flight test as well as an experimental test of flight vibration on the ground. As a result of the experiment, we confirmed flight environment properties of an IMU. Therefore, we shows that the proposed method can serve the reliability improvement of IMU.
