Spatial information extraction is to retrieve static and dynamic aspects in natural language text by explicitly marking spatial elements and their relational words. This paper proposes a deep learning approach for spatial information extraction for Korean language using a two-step bidirectional LSTM-CRF ensemble model. The integrated model of spatial element extraction and spatial relation attribute extraction is proposed too. An experiment with the Korean SpaceBank demonstrates the better efficiency of the proposed deep learning model than that of the previous CRF model, also showing that the proposed ensemble model performed better than the single model.

An integrated flight simulation program for multicopter drones is presented. The program includes rigid body dynamics, propeller thrust, battery energy, control, and air. Using this program, users can monitor and analyze the states of drones along flight trajectories. As a programming language, Modelica has been chosen, that specializes in simulation program development. Modelica enables users to develop simulation programs efficiently due to acausal and object oriented properties. For missions including horizontal and vertical maneuvers, many dynamical states of drones have been analyzed with simulation results.

Language and letter are represented by a combination of its signifier and signified. All symblos are commonly calling direct attention to people who are living in the physical world. However, in cyberspace, the image takes control once inhabited by the language. Cyberspace with anonymity and deoent physical nature has something with physical laws. In this space the statue transcends the imaginary realm. Ideology gives a greater connotation by giving a series of regulation to images floating in cyberspace. Even if various media have the same image, the meaning of the image changes depending on which ideology is used. The impact of this on the public is great. In this study, I discuss the ideology in cyberspace where is supposedly wide open to who visits and spreads all the thoughts without suppression and the human body. The main ideas would be who owns the ideology and what does it want to control and how the people would react to the ideology. This paper would eventually head the prototype that visualizes above ideas. Though the interactive media it will also show the subject in the real world is accept the images floating in the cyberspace without any doubts.

When literatures and cultures encounter their counterparts in terms of the big data or statistics of a new reconfiguration in the cognitive map, the tangential points of the borderland will be reduced to what Mitchell calls "a mere abstraction on a map," which nevertheless will provide a vast interstitial zone of "intersections, competition, and exclusions." This zone will be the dynamic vortex for the aesthetics, politics, and ethics of cultural translation. The translated discourse will engage in carrying across the disturbing region of untranslatability and demonstrate how the literary texts of world literature reveal enriching but threatening human experience. This dynamic border of vortex will construct the translational space of world literature, transcending the fragmentary untranslatable nature of the hybrid convergence of the ethnic, racial, cultural and national intermixtures and constructing what Pascal Casanova terms "The World Republic of Letters." In this paper, I will demonstrate how the very concept of scale is related to literary space as well as how distance creates a poetics of literary landscapes which looks ahead of world literature. Also, I will attempt to find the possibility to relate the "micro-scale" with the "macro-scale," and to construct the scale politics of representation. "Glocalization" is a convenient theoretical tool for the double movement of the up-scale and down-scale.

Sulayman Al-Bassam is recognized as the leading adaptor-director of Shakespeare in the Arab world of today. His adaptations have gained much attention around the globe. Celebrated cases of his Arab Shakespeare are The Al-Hamlet Summit and Richard III, an Arab Tragedy. This study intends to demonstrate that these two plays form a ground for challenging and irritating dialogue between the Middle East and the West. Shakespeare's Hamlet and Richard III are used as a discourse space for engaging with the inefficiency of Arab political culture and for exposing the economic machinations of the West. This space is constituted by the ongoing process of politically inclusive affiliation and exclusive disjunction, with the result that is not relevant to notions of synthesis and symbiosis. The process corresponds with that of distancing and identification in which the strategy of subversion is employed in order to unveil Western prejudices. Al-Bassam materializes Shakespeare's text as a gateway to understanding Arab society and culture, and to investigating questions as to how the modern Arab world could negotiate their cultural currencies with the West.

Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri find in women's caring/domestic labor a potential for producing affects, relationships, and forms of communication and cooperation in the family and in the community. Caring/domestic labor in their view is biopolitical in that it directly produces social relationship and forms of life. In this way, they contributed in deconstructing the fixed idea that women's caring/domestic labors are confined to the private domain rather than public one. The literary representations of women's caring/ domestic labor, however, have tended to emphasize its repetitive and confining attributes to private domains and the accompanying physical and mental alienation. Doris Lessing's "To Room Nineteen" and James Joyce's "Eveline" are the examples. "To Room Nineteen," an indirect manifestation of Doris Lessing's position as a Communist, criticizes the sexual distinction of domestic labor under Capitalistic ethic and describes the possible extinction of women's subjects who internalize the capitalistic ideology of bourgeois middle class nuclear family. "Eveline," the fourth work of Joyce's Dubliners, is another example to show the negative result of internalization of Catholic orthodox in which women are obligated to care and sacrifice specially through domestic and caring labor.

This paper attempts to examine how woman's role defined by the public discourse took issue with private desires of an individual woman in Tabitha Gilman Tenney's Female Quixotism (1801). Tenney borrows and transforms the ideas of quixotism and picaresque from Don Quixote, which involve an inherent paradox in the post-Revolutionary America. The Republican Ideology emphasized women's crucial role as guardians of family virtue and molders of republican citizens. Therefore, women were not allowed to travel outside of the domestic space as freely as a male picaro could do. In fact, the"adventures"depicted in the novel are constituted of a series of courtship in which Dorcasina, the heroine, unceasingly tries but fails to find a husband fit for her romantic idea about love and marriage formed by novel reading. However, the process shows that a variety of socially disadvantaged groups as well as women were excluded from the public space of the post-Revolutionary America. This half-a-century quest does not end with a conventional happy marriage, but Dorcasina finds herself a disillusioned old maid, resigned to a life of charity. Yet the ending exposes social contradictions inherent in early Republic of America, by showing how an individual woman's life was prescribed and limited by the dominant public discourse.

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of activity areas according to the age difference and provide the alternatives for space planning of activity areas in classroom of childcare centers. This study used the content analysis method for field survey data collected from 36 classrooms of 9 childcare centers in the Daejeon area. Floor plans were converted to Autocad drawings to analyze the characteristics of activity areas. The results of this study were as follows; 1) In case of 0 to 2-year-old classrooms, they had 6 activity areas such as gross-motor area, role play, block building, language, creative expression, exploration/manipulation area. The activity area with the most low frequency was gross-motor area. 2) In case of 0 to 2-year-old classrooms, the size of activity area was in order of gross-motor area > role play > block building > language > creative expression > exploration/manipulation area. In case of 3 to 5-year-old classrooms, the size of activity area was in order of language > art > role play > math > block building > science > tone and rhythmic area. 3) The central areas with easy access in 0 to 2-year-old classrooms were Large-motor and Imaginary Play Areas. Also, more isolated areas were Manupulatives and Block Areas. The central areas with easy access in 3 to 5-year-old classrooms were Arts, Numbers and Manupulatives. While more isolated areas were Music, Movement and Science Areas.

To design a space frame structure by the conventional method is not easy in practical sense since it is generally a three-dimensional complicated form, and stability and nonlinear problems are not easily checked in the design process. This paper describes two modules, the Model Generator which is based on PATRAN user interface that enables users to generate a complicated finite element model; the Optimum Design Module which analyzes output results of analysis program, and designs members of a space frame. The Model Generator is based on PCL while C++ language is used in the Optimum Design Module. Structural analysis is performed by using ABAQUS. All of these modules constitute Space Frame Integrated Design System. The Core of the system is PATRAN database, in which the Model Generator creates information of a finite element model. Then, PATRAN creates input files needed for the analysis program from the information of the finite element model in the database, and in turn, imports output results of analysis program to the database. Finally, the Optimum Design Module processes member grouping of a space frame based on the output results, and performs optimal member selection of a space frame. This process is repeated until the desired optimum structural members are obtained.

The purpose of this study was to know the differences in perceptual judgement for speech intelligibility in monosyllables by inexperienced listeners and vowel space area according to different dysarthric severity. Three dysarthric speakers with different severity(mild, moderate and severe) screened by 3 clinicians' screening tests before the experiment were conducted. Corner vowels (i, u, ae, a) in monosyllable level (CVC, 'p_p') and carrier phrases ('종이에_써') were chosen and analyzed for vowel space. Inexperience listeners (n=20) performed the intelligibility test for spoken syllables and carrier phrases by dysarthric speakers. The results show that there is a significant differences in both F1 and F2 values among 4 corner vowels. Vowel space area in the data of mildly impaired speakers was significantly higher than two others. In the scores of speech intelligibility judged by inexperienced listeners, the scores by a moderately impaired speaker were more higher than two other speakers. The discrepancy between perceptual judgement by inexperienced listeners and vowel space area will be discussed in this area.
