평균속도 개념을 적용한 상태공간에서의 과도동적응답 해석 (A Transient Dynamic Response Analysis in the State-Space Applying the Average Velocity)

  • In this study, the state-space Newmark method based on average velocity is presented to analyse the transient dynamic response for general dynamic system. The conventional Newmark method based on average acceleration cannot he directly to the first-order state-space differential equations introducing the state-space vector. To overcome this problem, the time-step integration algorithm, based on average velocity concept, suitable for the first-order state-space differential equations is proposed In results, the proposed method has %he numerical stability and order of accuracy, which is proved analytically, equal to those of the conventional Newmark method based on average acceleration. Also, the formulation for numerical solution is very simple and the calculation time Is nearly equal to that of the conventional Newmark method based on average acceleration in spite of an increase of two times over matrix size. This method will be look forward to applying the general dynamic system to calculate the transient dynamic response.

  • An implicit direct-time integration method for obtaining transient responses of general dynamic systems is described. The conventional Newmark method cannot be directly applied to state-space first-order differential equations, which contain no explicit acceleration terms. The method proposed here is the state-space Newmark method that incorporates the average velocity concept, and can be applied to an analysis of general dynamic systems that are expressed by state-space first-order differential equations. It is also readily coded into a program. Stability and accuracy analyses indicate that the method is numerically unconditionally stable like the conventional Newmark method, and has a period error of 2nd-order accuracy for small damping and 4th-order for large damping and an amplitude error of 2nd-order, regardless of damping. In addition, its utility and validity are confirmed by two application examples. The results suggest that the proposed state-space Newmark method based on average velocity be generally applied to the analysis of transient responses of general dynamic systems with a high degree of reliability with respect to stability and accuracy.

A Study on Multi-Signal DOA Estimation in Fading Channels

  • In this study, the proposed algorithm is a correlativity signal in a mobile wireless channel that has estimated the direction of arrival. The proposed algorithm applied the space average method in a MUSIC algorithm. The diagonal matrix of the space average method was changed to inverse the matrix and to obtain a new signal correlation matrix. The existing algorithm was analyzed and compared by applying a proposed signal correlation matrix to estimate the direction of arrival in a MUSIC algorithm. The experiment resulted in a proposed algorithm with a min-norm method resolution at more than $5^{\circ}$. It improved more than $2^{\circ}$ in a MUSIC algorithm.

공동주택의 조도측정 및 평균조도 산출방법 (Measurement and Computing Method of the Average Illuminance in Residential Areas)

  • 일반적으로 공동주택의 조도를 측정하여 공간의 평균조도를 분석할 때 KS 5점법과 IES 4점법의 조도측정 및 평균조도 산출방법을 적용한다. 이 측정 방법들은 각각 측정점이 달라 평균값에 차이가 발생하기 때문에 정확한 분석을 위하여 공간의 특성과 재실자들의 활동을 고려하여 선택적으로 적용되어야 한다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 측정된 조도값과 시뮬레이션값을 비교함으로써 평균조도 산출법을 객관적으로 평가하였다. KS 5점법은 조명기구의 직하부 조도를 최대한으로 고려한 측정법으로 국부조도 평가에 적합하며, IES 4점법은 공간의 최대 및 최소 조도값의 배제를 통해 평균적 개념에 더욱 접근한 방법이라 할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 대규모 베이지안 망 구조 학습을 위해 제안되었던 R-CORE 방법의 탐색 공간의 크기에 대한 개략적인 분석과 실제 문제에 적용하였을 경우의 효과에 대한 실험적 결과를 제시한다. R-CORE 방법은 베이지안 망 구조 학습의 탐색 공간을 축소하기 위해 제안된 확률변수들의 재귀적 군집화와 오더 제한 방법이다. 알려진 벤치마크 베이지안 망을 이용한 분석을 통해, 제안되었던 R-CORE 방법이 worst case에는 기존의 방법과 유사한 탐색 공간을 가지나 평균적으로 기존방법보다 훨씬 적은 탐색 공간만을 고려한다는 것을 보인다. 또한 평균적으로 훨씬 적은 탐색 공간만을 고려하는 결과, 구조 탐색에서 기존 방법에 비해 상대적으로 적은 overfitting이 일어남을 실험적으로 보인다.

  • In this paper, we propose a new text watermarking method using space coding and PN sequence. A PN sequence generated from user message modifies the space between words in each line. The detection can be done without original text image using the average space with in the text. Experimental results show that proposed method has the invisible property and robustness to the attack such as the elimination of words in the text.

  • This paper presents a way to maximize transmission efficiency and reception ability through transmission diversity technology, which can be adapted to wireless multimedia OFDM system. The presented method is a comparative analysis between a case where parameter $\alpha$for time average is 0.3, 1 with consideration of channel presumption with two types of rms delayed proliferation, which is 50nsec, 150nsec, for the performance analysis of STTC(Space-Time Trellis Code) using time-space ciphering method appropriate for MIMO channel, and performance in the case where presumed channel value from long training column section is applied to according frame in a single frame. The result showed that BER brought SNR improvement of 1.0dB in 10-3 when $\alpha$ was 0.3 than using only the long training column, and showed increase of general performance improvement for the sake of time average rather than the case without.

  • Recent advanced IT made layout design fast and accurate by using algorithms. Layout design should be determined by considering the position of equipment with satisfying various space constraints and its component works with optimum performance. Especially, engine room layout design is performed with mother ship data, theoretical optimal solution, design requirements and several design constraints in initial design stage. Piping design is affected by position of equipment seriously. Piping design depends on experience of designer. And also piping designer should consider correlation of equipment and efficiency of space. In this study, space evaluation method has been used to evaluate efficiency of space. And also this study suggested object function for optimal piping route, Average Reservation Index(ARI), Estimated Piping Productivity(EPP) and with modified space evaluation method. In this study, optimum pipe routing system has been developed to reflect automated piping route with space efficiency and experience of piping designer. Engine room is applied to the design of the piping in order to confirm validity of the developed system.

제 1경추골의 위치와 경추만곡도 간의 관계 (Position of the Fist Cervical Vertebra in Relation to Cervical Curvature)

  • This study ws performed to investigate the relationship between cervical curvature and the spatial position of the posterior part of the atlas imaged in the lateral cephalograph. Sixty six patients with temporomandibular disorders(TMD) and twenty dental students were selected for patients group and control group, respectively. The average age of patients group was 26.3 years, and 24.9 years in control group. Measured variables were cervical depth, upper space between the atlas and the base of the occiput, lower space between the atlas and the spinous process of the axis, rea of the posterior part of the atlas imaged in the lateral cephalograph, and the cervical curvature passing through the uppermost point in dorsal side of Dens of the Axis to the lowermost and rearmost point of the 5th cervical vertebra. The reliability of the method used for measuring cervical curvature with curved ruler was also tested. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Cervical depth of patients group was 122.9mm and significantly shorter than that of control group, in which cervical depth was 131.9mm, and cervical depth was significantly correlated with other variables in all subjects. 2. Upper space was greater in patients group, but total space including upper and lower space showed no difference between the two groups. The average value of total space was 26.5mm. 3. Area of the posterior part of the atlas was 168.2$\textrm{mm}^2$ in patients group, and 186.5$\textrm{mm}^2$ in control group with significant difference between the two groups. 4. Average range of radius of cervical curvature were 33-40cm and there was no difference between the two groups. 5. There was no significant correlation between the cervical curvature and the area of the posterior arch of the atlas. 6. The method using curved ruler for measuring cervical curvature could be accepted as a reliable method.
