1. Purpose 'Gu-Bon' of ${\ulcorner}$Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$ found lately was written in 1940, through comparing with 'Gu-Bon' and 'In-Bon'. In 'Gu-Bon' and 'In-Bon', there are many different contents. The aim of the present study was to find changes of Dong-Mu's recognition on Symptom of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease from 1894 to 1900 2. Methods Comparing with 'Gu-Bon' and 'In-Bon' on Symptom of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease, Mechanism . region . main symptom and treatment of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease are arranged. and changes of Dong-Mu's recognition on Symptom of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease from 1894 to 1900 was found 3. Results 1) In 'Gu-Bon' of ${\ulcorner}$Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$, Dong-mu recognized Symptom of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease, mainly through the conception of 'ventral-dorsal--interior-exterior' and 'Main Qi of life protection' 2) In 'In-Bon' of ${\ulcorner}$Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$, Dong-mu recognized Symptom of Soeumin's Disease and Soyangin's Disease, mainly through the conception of 'ventral-dorsal-interior-exterior' and 'Ascending of Yang-Qi and Descending of Yin-Qi' 3) In 'Gu-Bon' of ${\ulcorner}$Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$, Symptom of Soeumin's Disease was classified into 'Taeyang Disease' and 'Yang-myoung Disease'. But In 'In-Bon' of ${\ulcorner}$Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$, Symptom of Soeumin's Disease was classified into 'Mang-yang' and 'Ul-guang'

1. Purpose Between "HamsanSachon Dongyi Suse Bowon GaboGubon" and ShinChukbon "Dongyi Suse Bowon", there are many differences and changes of contents. It is due to the changes of Dong-Mu's recognition about symptoms. Therefore, this study will aim to compare constitutional symptoms of Soyangin's with Taeumin's about sweating and pissing. 2. Methods In ShinChukbon "Dongyi Suse Bowon", I found contents about sweating and pissing, and compared constitutional symptoms of Soyangin's with Taeumin's about sweating and pissing. 3. Result and Conclusion 1) In ShinChukbon "Dongyi Suse Bowon", I concluded that Soyangin who has interior disease may piss lesser than Soyangin who has ordinary symptoms. Otherwise, Taeumin who has interior disease may piss more than Taeumin who has ordinary symptoms. 2) In ShinChukbon "Dongyi Suse Bowon", I concluded that Soyangin who has interior disease sweats more than Soyangin who has ordinary symptoms. Otherwise, Taeumin who has interior disease may sweat lesser than Taeumin who has ordinary symptoms. 3) The results of this study was to compare Soyangin with Taeumin on ShinChukbon "Dongyi Suse Bowon". More studies are demanded in other writings of Dong-Mu's.

Objectives The purpose of this case study is to report significant improvement of headache, constipation and a slight improvement of tremor after treatment with Hyeongbangjihwhang-tang in a Soyangin patient with Parkinson's disease.Methods This Soyangin patient is treated by Hyeongbangjihwhang-tang and acupuncture therapy. The progress was evaluated using the Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale before and after treatment. Secondary results assessments include Global Assessment Scale, change of patient's omniloquilism, Xerostomia and Cold hands & Feet Syndrome.Results and Conclusions The patient's symptoms of headache, constipation and tremor were improved after using Hyeongbangjihwhang-tang. and UDPRS score decreased in Part Ⅰ, Part Ⅱ, and Part Ⅲ. In conclusion, this study shows that Hyeongbangjihwhang-tang can be effective treatment for Soyangin patient with early-stage Parkinson''s disease. Overall, Sasang medicine can be a solution of the symptoms caused by Parkinson's disease. Through Sasang medicine we can contribute Parkinson's disease Patient's quality of life get better.

1. Objectives This study aims to establish the concept and classification of the Delirious Speaking Bad Disease in the Soyain's Exterior Cold Disease induced from the Spleen Affected by Cold. 2. Methods Different editions of "Donguisusebowon", including the Gabo version and the Sinchuk version, were compared for differences and similarities in the Soyangin disease. And we discussed other studies done previously. 3. Results and conclusions Soyangin's Delirious Speaking Bad Disease can be understood as shifted symptom of all of Soyangin's Exterior cold disease induced from the spleen affected by cold.

Objectives This research was proposed to present Clinical Practice Guideline(CPG) for Soyangin Disease of Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM): Diagnosis and Algorithm. This CPG was developed by the national-wide experts committee consisting of SCM professors. Methods We searched the literature and articles related to Soyangin Symptomatology diagnosis and algorithm. For developing diagnosis and algorithm, we searched the classification, ordinary symptom, present symptom of the Soyangin Symptomatology. Results & Conclusions We classify the Soyangin Symptomatology by 4 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern (initial-advanced pattern). And at the unfavorable pattern, ordinary symptom is very important. So doctors need to focus on the symptom of unfavorable's ordinary symptom such as temperament inclined symptom, diarrhea, and diurnal body fever.

Parkinson's disease(PD) is characterized by chronic progress of mesencephalic dopaminergic neuronal death. Diagnostic criteria for PD require at least two of three motor sign: tremor, rigidity, or bradykinesia. Levodopa and the dopamine agonists are considerd first-line drug therapy. In the book ‘dongyi soose bowon(東醫壽世保元)’, Soyangin Gihwangbeakho-tang(地黃白虎湯) is used at Soyangin Interior-overheated-disease. This case is patient who is 69 years old lady, suffered by the tremor of jaw and a slight rigidity, bradykinesia etc. This patient was classified as Soyangin by features, somatotype and emotional patterns. She improved in the tremor of jaw and others with Gihwangbeakho-tang for 67days. The result revealed that Soyangin-Gihwangbeakho-tang was effected on the tremor of jaw and others with Parkinson's disease patient.

1. Objectives: This research was proposed to find out the pathology of Soyangin in Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM). 2. Methods: The related contents of the pathology of Soyangin were selected in Je-Ma Lee's literatures such as "Dongmu-YuGo(東武遺稿)"(DYG), "Donguisusebowon-SaSangchobongyun(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)"(DSS), "Donguisusebowon-GabObon(東醫壽世保元甲午本)"(DGO), "Donguisusebowon-ShinChukbon(東醫壽世保元辛丑本)"(DSC), and the research was written in order to find out the physiology and pathology of Soyangin in SCM. 3. Results and Conclusions: The chronical change of pathologic concept in Soyangin diseases as follows : Pathology in Soyangin diseases was much Hot Qi(熱氣), and more ascending Qi, less descending Qi in DYG, DSS. In "Discourse on the viscera and bowels" of DGO and DSC, Soyangin has a circulation of Water-Food Hot Qi of Spleen Group(脾黨) and Water-Food Cold Qi of Kidney Group(腎黨). Exterior Disease(表病) was the injury of Exterior-Qi such as mouth-hip Qi(口膀胱氣) by Anger-Nature-Qi(怒性氣), and Interior Disease(裏病) was the injury of Interior-Qi such as kidney-large intestine Qi(腎大腸氣) by Sorrow-Emotion-Qi(哀情氣). All diseases of Soyangin are caused by insufficient Cool Yin Qi(陰淸之氣) in Kidney Group(腎黨), so the pathology of Soyangin was focused on Requisite energy(保命之主) and each small viscera and bowels(偏小之臟). In this viewpoint, the schema of Soyangin diseases such as Soyangsangpoong-syndrome(少陽傷風證), Kyulhyung-syndrome(結胸證), Mangeum-syndrome(亡陰證), Hyungkyukyeol-syndrome(胸膈熱證), Sogal-syndrome(消渴證) and Eumhuoyeol-syndrome(陰虛午熱證) were designed to explain the mechanism of each syndrome.

1. Objective This study aims to establish the concept and classification of the Gochangl(鼓脹) pathology introduced in the Sasang Constitutional Medicine literature. 2. Methods Different editions of Donguisusebowon, including the Gabo version and the Sinchuk version, were compared for differences and similarities in the concept, symptomology, pathology, and therapeutics concerning the Soyangin Gochang disease. 3. Results and Conclusion (1) In the Gabo edition, Gochang(鼓脹) is introduced to Eumheohwadongwiyeolyukran(陰虛火動胃熱肉爛) disease category of the Interior-Based Symptomatic Pattern in the "Soyangin Interior Large Intestine Disease" section and is introduced to the conditions progressed from edema included in the Exterior-Based Symptomatic Pattern in the "Articles added to the Soyangin Bladder and Large Intestine Disease" section. (2) In the Sinchuk edition, Gochang(鼓脹) is introduced ro the conditions progressed from Jungso(中消) of the Interior-Based Symptomatic Pattern in the "Soyangin Interior-heat-disease by the fever in the stomach" section and "Articles added to the Soyangin" section. (3) It is reasonable to think that Soyangin's Gochang is considered to Interior-Based Symptomatic Pattern because the Sinchuk edition is developed from the Gabo edition and Gochang is introduced to Jungso(中消) category after the distinction between Gochang and edema in the Sinchuk edition.

Objectives The aim of this study was to examine significant improvement of motor and non-motor symptoms after treatment with Sasang constitutional medicine treatment on a Soyangin patient with early-stage Parkinson's disease. Methods The patient was treated with Soyangin's constitutional medications (herb and acupuncture) and scalp acupuncture. The progress was evaluated using the Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) before and after treatment. The UPDRS was used to assess the overall function of patient. Results We observed a significant improvement in patient's motor and non-motor symptoms using UPDRS. The UPDRS score decreased in Part I, Part II, and Part III. Conclusions This study shows that Sasang constitutional medicine can be effective treatment for Soyangin patient with early-stage Parkinson's disease.

Objectives This study was designed to report treatment of Soyangin Mangeum with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Methods We treated two patients suffering from dyspepsia and chest discomfort. A female patient was treated with Hyeongbangjiwhang-tang. A male patient was treated with Hyungbangsabaek-san. The progress was evaluated with the visual analogue scale for dyspepsia, chest discomfort, and other symptoms. Results A female patient's symptoms such as dyspepsia, chest discomfort were almost cured. but they increased with patient's emotional state repeatedly. A male patient' symptoms such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, heart burn was successfully disappeared. Conclusions Hyeongbangjiwhang-tang and Hyungbangsabaek-san can be considered as a treatment for patient with Soyangin Mangyin diagnosed as gastroesophageal reflux disease.
