IT 프로젝트 성과에 대한 지식이전의 매개효과에 관한 연구 (The Mediation Effect of Knowledge Transfer on IT Project Performance)

  • Recently, knowledge transfer has been recognized as one of the major factors for success of IT projects but little investigated in Information Systems research. IT project, which needs collaboration between organization's IT project team and external partner, is an critical source for a firm to acquire external knowledge and to achieve its competitive advantage. Based on this recognition on knowledge transfer under IT project, we investigate a mediation role of knowledge transfer to IT project performance after identifying its antecedents such as project team capabilities and partner capabilities. The research model is tested by analyzing 161 sample data gathered from firms' employees who have participated IT projects within last two years. The results reveal that knowledge transfer has full-mediation effect between its antecedents and IT project performance. Moreover, project team capabilities have more impacts on knowledge transfer than partner capabilities do.

  • Knowledge integration is becoming a primary function of improving organizational capabilities and performance in today's convergence paradigm. The knowledge integration capability of employees has increasingly been regarded as a critical source for developing new products and services. This study investigates the influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability and its effects. A theoretical research model was developed based on the socio-technical perspective and information processing theory. The model includes teamwork quality, expertise, IT support, and knowledge complexity as the primary influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability. A large-scale survey was conducted for gathering data (a total of 316 samples from 141 organizations) to test the proposed model. The test results of the hypotheses show that expertise and knowledge complexity are the significant influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability, and also the capability has a positive effect on the knowledge creation performance of employees. Our findings contribute to the development of initiatives for promoting employees' knowledge integration capability, especially in knowledge intensive organizations focusing on convergence products and services.

Using Analytic Network Process to Construct Evaluation Indicators of Knowledge Sharing Effectiveness in Taiwan's High-tech Industries

  • High-tech industry has been the principal economic source for Taiwan in recent years. The characteristics of high-tech industries in Taiwan are changeable product markets, short product life cycles and high company attrition rate. In the globalization trend, the high-tech industry has gradually increased corporate competitiveness and reached the goal of sustainable operations through knowledge management, knowledge sharing and new product research and development. Firms have aggressively strengthened and integrated their internal and external resources and enhanced knowledge sharing to increase industry operational performance. Effectively strengthening the knowledge management operation and performance evaluation of knowledge sharing in Taiwan's high-tech industry has become a critical issue. In the selection of knowledge sharing Key Performance Indicators (KPI), this research divided the knowledge sharing indicators into representative strategic indicators such as organizational knowledge learning, organizational knowledge resources, organizational information capacity and organizational knowledge performance through screening using Factor Analysis. The characteristics of the constructs were interdependent. This research calculated and adjusted the correlation among the key performance knowledge sharing indicators using ANP and determined the relative weight of knowledge sharing.

  • In this paper, the band structural design that is typically in a line was arranged in a ring shape, so as to configure the high power LED lighting in such a way as to form a concentrated light distribution angle of less than 15 degrees. The parabolic aluminized reflector PAR38 that facilitates design using area and the area of the optical system to the same extent, applied a multiple light-source condenser lens optical system for the control of integration. The LED used here implemented a single linear light source using ans LED module with ans LED, flip-chip chip-scale package. The optical system was designed based on the energy star standard.

개방·공유·참여의 대학 교육환경 구축 사례 (A Framework for Open, Flexible and Distributed Learning Environment for Higher Education)

  • This study proposes University 2.0 as a model case of open, flexible, and distributed learning environment for higher education based on theoretical foundations and perspectives. As web 2.0 technologies emerge into the field of education, ways of generating and disseminating information and knowledge have been drastically changed. Professors are no longer the only source of knowledge. Students using internet often become prosumers of knowledge who search and access information through the web as well as publish their own knowledge using the web. A concept and framework of University 2.0 is introduced for implementing the new interactive learning paradigm with an open, flexible and distributed learning environment for higher education. University 2.0 incorporates online and offline learning environments with various educational media. Furthermore, it employs various learning strategies and integrates formal and informal learning through learning communities. Both instructors and students in University 2.0 environment are expected to be active knowledge generators as well as creative designers of their own learning and teaching.

  • 본 연구는 지식경영역량의 신제품 개발 과정에서의 역할을 설명하고, 지식습득역량에서 지식적용역량으로 연결되는 과정을 통해 선두이점과 신제품품질의 우월성, 그리고 신제품 성과 간에 관계를 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 지금까지 지식기반 연구는 지식의 정의, 지식의 유형 구분, 지식과 정보 간의 차이 등에 대한 연구로 국한되어왔다. 본 연구는 기업의 신제품 지식경영활동 중 발생하는 지식습득과 지식적용역량을 전략적 변수로서 간주하여, 지식경영역량의 선행변수와 결과변수를 조사하였다. 지식기반이론과 source-position-performance(SPP)구조를 바탕으로, 가치창출에 원천으로서 지식의 유형은 지식경영역량의 개발에 중요한 역할을 하며, 이러한 지식경영역량은 포지션상의 우위를 가져와 신제품 성과에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 제시하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 국내 하이테크 산업에 속하는 기업들 중 신제품 프로젝트에 참여한 제품 개발팀의 과장급 이상 종사원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 구조방정식모형을 사용하여 가설을 검증한 결과 7개의 가설 중 신제품 지식의 복잡성과 지식적용역량의 관계(H1b)를 제외한 모든 가설이 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보였다. 본 연구의 공헌은 SPP 구조를 기반으로 하여 지식의 유형과 포지션상 우위를 연결하는 매개변수로서 지식경영역량을 소개하였고, 실증 분석을 통해 신제품 혁신 이론에 지식경영역량이 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 보였다는 것이다. 또한 신제품 개발 성과를 향상하기 위해서는 신제품 개발 팀장들의 역할 즉, 팀 구성원들의 개별 지식 접근능력을 기르고, 그것을 적용하기 위한 능력을 개발하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 제시하였다는 점은 실무적으로 의의가 있다.

중학생의 성 지식과 성 태도 (Sexual Knowledge and Attitudes among Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: To suggest ideas that promote sexual health and useful in planning sex education programs for middle school students. Method: This study surveyed 661 middle school students from three schools in Seoul and Chunchon. Result: The average degree of sexual knowledge was 31.5, while attitude was 32.5. There were statistically significant differences in sexual knowledge in relation to: coeducational environment (t=-5.776, p=.000), grade (F=36.351, p=.000), father's age (t=-2.510, p=.012), mother's age (t=-2.146, p=.032), economical status (F=3.264, p=.039), source of sexual knowledge (F=8.484, p=.000), the degree of interest in the opposite sex (F=16.871, p=.000), sexual discussions with parents (t=3.556, p=.000), sexual discussions with teachers (t=2.847, p=.005), and sex education (t=2.148, p=.032). Likewise, stastically significant differences in sexual attitudes were linked to: coeducational environment (t=-7.646, p=.000), subject's grade (F=32.743, p=.000), parental marriage status (t=2.338, p=.020), mother's age (t=-2.048, p=.041), source of sexual knowledge (F=6.917, p=.000), the degree of interest in the opposite sex (F=15.559, p=.000), sexual discussions with parents (t=3.908, p=.000), and sexual discussions with teachers (t=2.946, p=.003). The students level of sexual knowledge and attitude was significantly correlated (r=.686, p=.000). Conclusion: This study indicates a variety of systematic sexual education programs are needed for middle school student at home and school.

조직의 지식경영 준비도(Readiness) 측정도구 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of an Instrument to Measure the Readiness of an Organization for Knowledge Management)

  • The role of knowledge as the key source of potential advantage for organizations and economies has become a hotly debated topic. Some studies found that organizations had their own knowledge management styles. Knowledge Management draws form existing resources that organizations may already have in place. Checking the organization's infrastructures for Knowledge Management is the first step for Knowledge Management. Although the as- is analysis of organizations before knowledge management is important, but there is no study on the readiness for Knowledge Management. This study reports on the development of an instrument designed to measure the readiness of an organization for knowledge Management. Starting with the literature, 4 dimensions - strategy, process, culture/people, and technology - and 18 factors were identified. Then, a questionnaire for measuring readiness was created. Finally, the instrument was pilot tested to prove its reliability and validity. Following the pilot test, the factors all demonstrated acceptable levels of reliability. The result is 19 factors instrument comprising 4 dimensions which provide a useful tool for measuring the readiness for Knowledge Management.

일부대학생의 성의식 및 성행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sexual Behavior and Attitudes among College Students in Seoul)

  • This study examines knowledge, attitudes and behaviors toward sexual activity among 412 college students in Seoul. An 127-item questionnaire is used in order to understand and consider alcircumstances involved in decisions about sexual activity, and to reflect to the course on healthy sexuality. The major findings are as follows: 1. ‘Books/media’ and ‘friends’ are the primary source of sexual knowledge. 2. Despite the increased number of sxeducation programs, peers apparently remain the major source of information and the counsellor of the sexual problems(71.6%). 3. About ninety percent of males and 14.2 percent of females masurbate. Although mastubation is anormal response to pleasurable bodily feelings, students feel ‘unnatural’, ‘bad’ or ‘guilty’. 4. For some students, sexual intercourse is perceived as the natural outgrowth of love. More than thirty oercent of males and 8. 1 percent of females are engaged in inter -course. 5. Asking parents or teachers to be specific in talking about sex makes it uncomfortable to discuss sex. 6. Sex education should begin in the family and in school in early childhood and continue throughout life. 7. Sexual feelings and emotions are stirred up differently between male and female by sexual sensations. 8. Half of the intimate relationship with opposite sex shows a love relationship with sexual closeness and pleasure. Unguided reading or peers remain the primary source of information about topics like masurbation and sexual technique. Thus, schools should be responsible for the more value-laden subjects (such as birth control, homosexuality, and sexual techniques). And inclusionof a peer education componebt that modified college students' perceived peer norms may be the intervention method of choice. The prevention of health problems is far more desirable than treatment. The earlier the knowledge and skill to make healthful decisions are instilled, the greater the chance a healthful lifestyle will be adopted. School is the logical place in our society to provide the college students learning opportunities essential to developing the knowledge and skills to choose a healthful life course.

오픈소스 개발 커뮤니티 참여자들의 지속적 지식기여 의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sustaining Knowledge Contribution Intention of Participants in the Open Source Software Development Communities)

  • 오픈소스 소프트웨어는 그 자체의 혁신성으로 인해 차별화되며, 혁신성의 원천은 기술적인 문제를 공유하여 함께 해결하는 것에서 비롯된다. 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 개발자들의 자발적 참여와 협력이 지속적인 참여에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 이러한 상관관계를 조직시민행동이론과 사회적 자본이론을 결합하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 Bolino et al.(2002)의 조직시민행동과 사회적 자본의 연관성 연구, Wasko and Faraj(2005)의 사회적 자본과 지식기여의 연관성 연구를 토대로 연구모형 및 연구가설을 설정하였다. 오픈소스 개발자 152명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 구조방정식을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 조직시민행동의 충성, 사회적 참여, 변화주도적 참여가 사회적 자본을 축적하는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 자본의 상호호혜성과 공유 비전은 지속적 지식기여 의도를 강화하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 사회적 참여와 공유 비전, 응집성과 지속적 지식기여 의도 간의 관계는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.
