  • This paper presents a diagnostic technique using ultrasonic for operating power transformer. Two methods are used as a base for detecting a partial discharge. One is a analysis of PD trend using counted ultrasonic signal, the other is a estimation of PD location source using cross-correlation. In this paper we implement detection equipment of partial discharge in power transformer. The desired system is utilized to two methods for PD detection and operated by graphical user interface(GUI). The results of test showed that the system can be adopted to real power transformer.

  • This paper presents a new adaptive converter control approach for electric motor systems whose voltage source is excited from photovoltaic (PV) power generators. First, an electric model is represented with dynamic states and output velocity of such DC motor systems. We propose a hybrid converter control law in which a state feedback control is applied as an auxiliary control framework. Moreover, control parameter estimation is derived to realize adaptive converter systems for effective control performance against stochastic PV power excitation in practice. We carry out stability analysis for such converter system by using a well-known eigenvalue theory. Lastly, numerical simulation is conducted to test reliability of the proposed converter control approach and prove its superiority in the control point of view.

  • Land cover map is a typical GIS database which shows the Earth's physical surface differentiated by standardized homogeneous land cover types. Satellite images acquired by Landsat TM were primarily used to produce a land cover map of 7 land cover classes; however, it now becomes to produce a more accurate land cover classification dataset of 23 classes thanks to higher resolution satellite images, such as SPOT-5 and IKONOS. The use of the newly produced high resolution land cover map of 23 classes for such activities to estimate non-point sources of pollution like water pollution modeling and atmospheric dispersion modeling is expected to result a higher level of accuracy and validity in various environmental monitoring results. The estimation of pollution from non-point sources using GIS-based modeling with land cover dataset shows fairly accurate and consistent results.

  • This paper proposes a method for estimating the vibrational power supplied by a machine that generates excitation force to its supporting structure via the coupling points. The basis of the method is that the vibrational power can be calculated using the mechanical impedance and the velocity at the coupling points on the supporting structure. First, a method is described to estimate the mobilities at the coupling points when the machine is not separable from the supporting structure, then the vibrational power is calculated using the estimated mobilities and measured velocities at the coupling points. The mobilities are estimated from the result of impulsive testing of the coupled structure. The method is investigated using an experimental model. The estimated and measured values of the mobilities and the vibrational power are compared. It is shown that the estimated values agree well with the measured values.

  • Recently, some semiconductor and LCD manufacturers require equipment suppliers to serve the data of composite noise for clean room. In this study, we evaluate the composite noise of clean room by numerically and experimentally. The value of experimental result is more higher than calculated one as much as 1$\sim$2dB(A).

  • 인터넷의 급속한 발전은 네트워크를 통해 많은 정보를 흘러가도록 만들었다. 그 정보들 중에는 다른 시스템이나 사용자에게 루머나 바이러스와 같은 좋지 않은 정보를 포함하는 경우도 있는데, 이에 대비해서 이런 악성정보가 더 많이 퍼져나가지 않도록 다양한 보안방법들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 정보를 처음 퍼뜨린 근원을 추정해 나가는 문제를 고려한다. 특히, 기존의 이 문제를 다룬 많은 연구에서와는 다르게 본 연구에서는 정보가 시간이 지남에 따라, 혹은 근원으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 그 전파력이 감쇠되는 여러 가지 정보확산 모델을 고려한 후, 각각의 모델에서 트리기반 추정법을 사용하여 정보의 근원을 얼마나 잘 탐지해 내는지에 대해 살펴본다.

  • 뇌파(Electroencephalogram, EEG)는 뇌의 자발적 전기활동을 두피에서 측정한 것이다. 그 동안 뇌질환과 관련된 임상에서 주로 사용되어져 왔으며, 비선형 동역학 연구를 통해 결정론적인 동역학 신호임이 밝혀짐에 따라 뇌 기능연구 분야에서 그 응용범위가 넓어지고 있다. 우리는 뇌파 신호에 대하여 독립성분분석(Independent Component Analysis, ICA)을 통하여 그 결과를 알아보았다. 즉, 뇌파의 독립성분 분석 적용 타당성을 알아본 다음 이를 적용하여 독립 소스들을 분리해 내었다. 또한 Topological Mapping을 이용하여 각각의 독립 소스들이 뇌의 어느 위치에서 발생하는지도 알아보았다. 이를 통하여 EEG에 독립성분분석을 적용함으로써 뇌 활동의 시간적, 공간적 분석이 가능하고 유용함을 나타내었다.

  • Field screening for pollutants has been a target of instrumental development for number of years. An electronic nose can be of substantial benefit to rapidly localize the spatial extent of a pollution or to find pollutant source. Although an electronic nose cannot separate complex composition into the whole spectrum of present volatile organic compound(VOC) in pollutants such as Gas chromatography(GC), qualitative and semi-quantitative chemical characterizations are rapidly available on site at a low cost using the optimum sensory system and pattern recognition algorithm based on neural network.

  • 우리나라의 현행 수질오염총량제도에서 비점오염원에 대한 배출량은 배출원별로 유량조건에 따라 배출계수를 적용하여 산정하고 있으나, 강우 및 유역특성에 따라 크게 좌우되는 비점오염 배출특성을 반영하는 것에는 어려움이 있다. 한편, 역산모델링은 결과를 바탕으로 원인 값을 추정하는 방식으로 유량 및 수질측정결과, 점오염원 배출량 등 실측결과를 바탕으로 비점오염 배출량을 추정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 역산 모델링 기법을 이용하여 경안천 유역에서 배출되는 총인의 비점오염 배출량을 추정하고, 부하지속곡선을 통해 비점배출기준을 산정하고자 한다. 경안천 유역의 수질 및 유량측정자료, 하수처리장 현황, 오염원 자료 등을 수집하여, 점오염원 배출량을 추정하고 역산 모델링을 수행하였으며, 비점배출총량을 산정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 현행 수질오염 총량제도의 배출계수에 대한 재검토와 향후 유량조건에 따른 차별적인 비점오염원 관리 필요성에 대한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • This study aims to apply the Generalizability Theory (G-theory) for estimation of reliability of evaluation scores between raters on Patient Dentist Interaction. Selecting a number of raters as multiple error sources, this study was analyzed the error sources caused by relative magnitude of error variances of interaction between the factors and proceeded with D-study based on the results of G-study for optimal determination of measurement condition. The estimated outcomes of variance component for accuracy among the Patient Dentist Interaction evaluation with G-theory showed that impact of error was the biggest influence factor in students. The second influence was the item effect, and the rater effect was relatively small. The Generalizability coefficients for case1 and case2 which were estimated through the D- study were calculated relatively low.
