Ship can not sail without water. Ships sail along different routes with different natural conditions. Thus ships sailing at different sea areas have their respective characteristics. The northern sea area and the southern one of China have different characteristics, that is to song, the sea in the northern area is shallow and that in the southern area is deep, Chinese ships developed into different types in order to adapt to this.

Pattern refers to singular or repetitive decorative form in a blank surface, Also pattern is not just something to simply fill in the blanks, and has more meanings. Pattern reflects the specific culture or regional feature. So Depending on which pattern to use, creator can give particular of identity. which is generally utilized in visual arts such as painting, architecture, craft, as well as animation. Pattern in animation plays a role of decorating background or surfaces of characters' outfits or props. And Parttern is effective way to describe the story of the times and space environment of the background. Tomm Moore, an animation director in in Ireland mainly produces animations based on traditional folk stories or myths. He usually utilizes cultural and artistic factors related to the themes in his work production. One example is the insertion of pattern closely associated with the narratives and backgrounds of animations to create profound scenes. Tomm Moore used the Irish Celt pattern in Secret of Kells (2009) and Song of Sea (2014) and Islam geometric pattern and plant pattern in a short nimation named On Love from Kahlil Gibran's The Prophe (2014). This study attempts to examine the historical and cultural foundation and the narratives of these two animations, Song of Sea(2014) and Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet: On Love (2014) in which Tomm Moore participated as the director and producer, exploring their relevant traditional patterns. Moreover, it also attempts to analyze how these traditional patterns are utilized in the animations.

There have been persistent civil appeals in Ansan area against the odor and aerosols emitted from nearby Banwol/Sihwa industrial complex. A fundamental solution for the good air quality has not been addressed yet in spite of the continuous counterplan to reduce odor emission. A systematic and scientific study is needed to examine the reason for the odor episode and to predict the impact coverage of odor pollution. An approach by computational simulation is considered to be adequate to investigate the transportation and the dispersion processes of air pollutants blown by sea breeze toward the coastal city, Ansan. This study has employed various dispersion models to simulate the transportation and the dispersion processes of odor pollutants by a local circulation between land/sea breeze using the data set of emission rates of odorous species from the Banwol/Sihwa industrial complex.

The chromosome numbers of two sea anemones, Anthopleura midori and A. kurogane, were determined to be 2n=18 in both by the air-drying method. The chromosomes of A, midori are all telocentric, while the first pair of chromosomes of A. kurogane is subtelocentric and the remainders are all telocentric.

Morphometric characteristics of female red sea bream, Pagrus major (Temminck et Schlegel) and male black sea bream, Acanthopagrus schlegelii (Bleeker) hybrids is described. From the result of our study, the morphometric characters of hybrid may be 7 paternal-like, 2 maternal-like or even out of the range of parental species. The pigmentation of the hybrid is intermediate in some respects and resembles that of the parental species in others. This study of characterization in morphometric traits of the hybrids, red sea bream and black sea bream may be useful for distinguish of each genotype in commercial sea bream aquaculture.

Seasonal catch distributions of large purse seines and daily landings of coastal set nets were analyzed to understand the migration path of the Spanish mackerel Scomberomorus niphonius around Korean waters. The Spanish mackerel start to move toward the coastal region in the South and West Sea in May for spawning and stay until July, when spawning finishes. Afterwards, they start to migrate to the East China Sea and the southern East Sea and are found irrespective of the onshore and offshore regions. Therefore, they disappear from the offshore region during the spawning season in June and July, and a new recruitment population of age 0 begins to inflow into the coastal fishing grounds in the South Sea and West Sea in August, one month earlier than in the Japanese coastal region of the East Sea.

In this study, I examined the visual elements for narrative structure and the symbols, scene components and visual styles in the images through analyze the flat staging in Tomm Moore's animated feature film, . As a research method, I figure out the general theories about staging and analyze extracted scenes which revealed flat staging in the , then summarize and clarify the flat staging production elements and features of Tomm Moore. As a result, in , the composition of the screen using the basic shapes, the screen composition containing the spiral which is symbol of the Celtic traditional pattern, the stable and flat frame expression through the balanced screen composition, expression of spatial sensation using perspective, appearance of the period by using the inverted perspective, and composition that can emphasize the flat formability are appeared as a characteristic. Through this, the two-dimensional planarity was maximized to convey the feeling of appreciating the illustrations of fairy tales. Tomm Moore, who produced animation based on folk tales in order to inherit the traditional culture of Ireland, has been attracting worldwide attention because of its flat staging to help narrative, enhancing the original expression and performance of animation. I hope that this study will be used as basic data for industry workers and researchers who make unique and excellent animated feature film.
