스월 인젝터에서 접선방향 유입구 조건이 내부유동의 안정성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Internal Flow Stability for Tangential Entry Conditions in a Swirl Injector)

  • 지금까지 액막두께나 air core 직경 변화 등과 같은 수력학적 과정에 대한 이론 실험 연구가 많이 이루어져왔다. 스월 노즐에서 수치적 해석 등을 통해 이에 대한 몇 가지 이론식들이 확립되었지만, 아직까지 내부유동에 대한 실험적 연구 결과 등은 명백히 정립되어 있지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스월 챔버 내의 air core 구조를 가시화하고 오리피스에서의 액막두께를 측정함으로써 접선방향유입구 조건에 따른 내부유동의 안정성 여부를 판단해볼 수 있었다.

  • The preparation of $Al_2$O$_3$-SiO$_2$ thin films from less than one micron to several tens of microns in thickness had been prepared from metal alkoxide sols. Two methods, dip-withdrawal and electrophoretic deposition, were employed for thin films and sheets formation. The requirements to be satisfied by the solution for preparing uniform and strong films and by the factors affecting thickness and other properties of the films were examined. for the preparation of thin, continuous $Al_2$O$_3$-SiO$_2$ films, therefore, metal-organic-derived precursor solutions contained Si and Al in a chemically polymerized form has been developed and produced in a clear liquid state. In the process of applying to substrates, this liquid left a transparent, continuous film that could be converted to crystalline $Al_2$O$_3$-SiO$_2$ upon heating to 100$0^{\circ}C$. And, a significant change of the film density took place in the crystallization process, thus leading to the strict requirements as to the film thickness, which could survive crystallization.

304 스테인리스강의 착색 처리 조건이 표면 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Coloring Condition on the Surface Characteristic of 304 Stainless Steel)

  • 304 stainless steel plate was colored by hot dip and electrochemical treatment in a solution containing sulphuric and chromic acids. In the process, treatment variables such as operating time and methode were changed. The surface characteristics that changed by the treatment of the samples such as surface composition, oxide film thickness, color, surface roughness and reflectivity were studied. Surface composition was varied as follows. Fe was decreased, but Cr and O were increased. Ni was increased until 20 min, but reveals decreasing tendency as time passed after that. These means the surface film becomes chrome rich oxide phase as the treatment times increase. The thickness of film was about 220 nm at 30 min by dip treatment and it reduced as the treatment times increased. On the other hand, the thickness was about 150 nm at 10 min by electrochemical method and it doesn't increased with time. Surface color changed from metallic white of the base plate to gray, black, red, and green-blue, gradually, as the treating time increased. The reflectivity of colored surface measured by UVVIS-NIR spectrophotometer was reduced from max 38% of basis metal to min 3.5%.

  • The sensitivity factors and the error propagation factors are defined for the three-parameter ellipsometry (TPE). The sensitivity factor is useful for understanding the nature of the TPE measurements in connection with determination of the optical properties and the thickness of a film. On the other hand, the error propagation factors provide a quantitative tool for predicting the optimum condition for TPE experiments. Their usefulness is demonstrated for the passive film formed on nickel in aqueous solution.

Electrical Capacitance of Polypyrrole-Perchlorate and Polypyrrole-Naflon Film Electrodes

  • Electrical capacitance at the interface between electrolyte solution and conducting polypyrrole film electrode was measured by a simple electrochemical method. The polymer films were electropolymerized in the presence of perchlorate (PPy-ClO4) or Nafion (PPy-Nafion) anions as the dopant ions. Both polymers exhibited large double layer capacitances which were slightly potential dependent within the potential range where the polymers are conductive. The capacitance increased in proportion to the polymer thickness. The specific capacitance were about 10 Fg-1and 44 F g-1 for PPy-Nafion and PPy-ClO4, respectively.

  • In the recognition of the gases using the quartz crystal rnicrobalance (QCM) coated with the film materials, it is important to obtain the recognition ability of gases, and the stability of film coated above the QCM. Especially, the thickness of film coated above the QCM is decreased according with the using circumstance and time of QCM gas sensor. Therefore, the sensing chararcteristics of film is changed with these. In this paper, we coated the lipid GC materials varing with the blended amount of PVC(Po1y Vinyl Chloride) and solution (Tetra Hydrofan:THF) above QCM to obtain the stability of lipid PC film. QCM gas sensors coated with film materials were measured the frequency change in the chamber of stationary gas sensing system injected 1-hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol and benzene of 20.4 respectively. Also, we measured the degradation characteristics of QCM gas sensor to show the properties of stability.

Sputtering 방법에 의해 제조된 Sb가 도핑된 주석산화물 박막의 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Properties of Antimony-doped Tin Oxide Thin Films Prepared by Sputtering)

  • Antimony-doped Tin oxide (ATO) thin films were deposited on soda-lime glass substrates by DC magnetron sputtering technique. Effects of DC power film thickness and post heat-treatment on electrical conductivity of ATO film were investigated. Other properties of ATO film such as optical anti-chemical and wear properties were also reported in this work. The obtained ATO films showed electrical resistivities ranging from 5$\times$10-3 $\Omega$cm to 3$\times$10-3 $\Omega$cm with the average optical transparency above 80% in visible wavelength range and excel-lent anti-chemical properties where the electrical resistivity was not changed even after soaking the films in 1M HCl or 1M NaOH solution for 10 days. These properties were found to be related to the crystallinity of ATO film and the films having higher crystallinity showed better properties.

  • [ $Pb(Zr_{0.8}Ti_{0.2})TiO_3$ ] powder were prepared by the sol-gel method using a solution of Pb-acetate, Zr n-propoxide and Ti iso-propoxide. PZT thick film were fabricated by the screen printing method. and then the structural properties as a function of the sintering temperature were studied. PZT film thickness, obtained by four screen printing, was approximately $70{\sim}90{\mu}m$. The PZT thick film, sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$, showed deuse and uniform grain stractures and percent porosity of the thick film was 25.43%.

  • To evaluate insulating properties of polyimide thin film on high temperature over $100\;^{\circ}C$, polyimide film were prepared by electrophoretic deposition onto metal surface from nonaqueous emulsion. The emulsion is made by adding a solution of the resin to a precipitant, which is an organic liquid compeltely miscible with the solvent of the organic resin solution, but which does not dissolve the resin. The polyimide film obtained by annealing shows good insulation properties of 5.8 MV/cm at elevated temperature and breakdown strength of the film reveals thickness dependence.

  • The tungsten bronze type of strontium barium niobate(SBN) thin film was synthesized by metal organic decomposion method for SBN stock solution and the SBN thin film process were deposited by spin-coating process on Pt-deposited si-wafer(100) by magnetron sputtering system. The thickness of SBN thin film was 150$\sim$200 nm and were optimized for rpm of spin-coater system. The structural variation of SBN thin film was studied by TG-DTA and XRD. The deposited SBN stock solution on annealing at $400\sim800^{\circ}C$ a pure tungsten bronze SBN phase and the corresponding average grain size about 500$\sim$1000 nm influenced by annealing temperature.
